VERY DISAPPOINTED
Having been a loyal and very satisfied customer up until now, I find myself very disappointed "computer says no" approach when I find myself needing to amend the dates of my holiday due to illness (cancer). On the website the new holiday dates come with a £200 per person discount but Mercury can't or won't apply this discount to my new dates. They said the computer won't let them. This is for two people. I have pointed out that I could simply cancel the trip (claim back the lost deposit through travel insurance) and simply rebook as a new holiday. Maybe I should just cancel and book with someone else instead. They will then loose a £6,000 booking for the sake of a £400 discount that anyone else can have! DISAPPOINTING.

I understand that when you contacted us, we agreed to waive our usual amendment fee as a gesture of goodwill. The TOUR200 promotion is available for new bookings only and would not normally apply to an amended booking. However, following a further review, we agreed to honour the discount as an exception.

Sam was helpful
Sam was helpful, and explained and checked all details thoroughly. My only disappointment was the wording that I had with the letter we received with our last brochure which offered money off by using codes, but was told that neither of these were relevant to our tour 😔

Great company with good prices.
Easy to book online but if you prefer to book by phone, helpful and knowledgeable team members. Though it's best to ring early when they open.
Prices are very good. Used Mercury for all my long haul holidays for many years and every trip been fantastic.

good pricing, along with good customer service
A comprehensive package, along with competitive pricing drew me to enquire about this particular experience. All queries prior to booking were answered to my satisfaction, with the booking process over the phone being straight forward. The documentation came through quickly, which included a comprehensive guide that had useful details for the travel requirements for each of the countries being visited, along with the appropriate links for visas

not as bad as jet2 but still needs improvement
tried booking on-line.error 500 came up. had to phone.despite having seen the same price for holiday the previous 2days and 5minutes previous to phone call as£2578 was informed live price was now £2671.irritating but because of cancellation of holiday with another company which turned out to be 10times more irritating settled for it.had to go on line to change my wife's title as phone assistant mistakenly put her as Mr.tried and left as please respond by e-mail no reply so once again had to phone to resolve issue. things should be easier

I have just returned from the Grand…
I have just returned from the Grand tour of Romania. Thank you Mercury and your employees Rodika and Vlad the driver over there who awarded me one of my best holidays. The places were a feast for the eyes, the sites, breathtaking, the history and culture, caprivating.. the food was in abubdance, the wine was amongst the best I have drunk.
I thank you heartfully for the surprise event on the last night
Please create a riviera/ danube itinery as I am interested in this.
I recomment to all.. i have rwturned invigorated and feel blessed to have visited such an incredible country and its fabulous people.
