the wardrobe was missing the strips for the backboards yet the seller refused to supply the missing parts. Without securing the backboards the whole wardrobe rocks like a 1970's melamine. The backboards were marked and dirty as if they'd been stored in a barn. The paint is patchy, even for a shabby-chic look and so thin you can see the wood grain which if you want a painted wardrobe you dont want the woodgrain. The seller seemed smug and not interested in any complaint and denied me a partial refund for the damaged boards and missing strips. Construction was a nightmare as non of the pieces were numbered so it took 3x as long as it should have. Would I buy from this company again? Hell no

I have purchased several items of furniture from Mercers and have not been dissapointed. From choosing to completing my order online was very simple and straight forward. Communication regarding my order is clear and precise, with the courier delivery also on time.

High quality furniture that looks great, and amazing customer service. I called to say that I had accidentally damaged 2 parts of the chest of drawers during construction and wished to purchase replacements; Mercer replaced them free of charge as a good will gesture! Very very grateful and very impressed. I will definitely be buying more furniture from them in future.

Mercer’s are a great business to deal with, communication is fantastic from start to finish. Furniture is of great quality and staff are very prompt to respond to any queries that you have. I have used them multiple times and would definitely order from them again in the future!!

I purchased through AMAZON 2 items, a bookcase & a sideboard on 6 May 26. This morning I got a Text from their delivery company " FURDECO" saying the items were being delivered tomorrow 12 May 26. Not much warning, so I found tier Phone Number & rang to ask for a PM delivery as I'm in hospital in the morning, the service agent was VERY UNHELPFUL. I had waited 47 minutes as I was 67 in a que. The help I got was IF YOUR NOT IN WE WILL CONTACT YOU IN 48 hours.
Had I known that MERCERS used a cheap impolite company I would have gone to B&Q for "NEXT DAY SERVICE" & polite people.
DON'T USE MERCERS OR AMAZON use B&Q plus its quicker service

Top Dresser Review - I recently purchased the Corona Top Dresser and was disappointed with the quality. The unit arrived with multiple defects, including structural cracks, impact damage, and very poor paint finishing in several areas. When I raised this with customer service, I was told these were 'natural knots' in the wood, which was clearly not the case for many of the jagged splits and blown-out holes. I eventually accepted a 15% discount only because the alternative was the massive hassle of repackaging and resending such a bulky item. While it's a budget-friendly piece, be prepared for potential defects and a difficult claims process

The Corona range of furniture is very good value. Not flimsy when assembled, very sturdy.

Web page is simple to navigate there no fuss or frills to get in the way like on some other sellers site's. The product was in excellent condition when it arrived and delivery was quite quick

I get all my furniture from Mercers as it is all made well and good quality. The delivery drivers are very good and dispatch time isn't long at all.

Couldn't be happier with the service I received from Mercers furniture, despite a picking error, which I didn't realise until a few weeks later (I ordered 6 items and started with the smallest and worked my up to the largest, which was unfortunately the wrong colour), Mercers arranged collection of the wrong item and delivery of the right item within 2 days, no fuss, no drama, absolutely brilliant

Very frustrating assembly experience.

Many parts were not labelled, and the instructions were unclear and difficult to follow. Relying on hole positioning for dowels but no pilot holes for the screws made the process far more complicated than it should have been.

I had help from two experienced handymen, and even they struggled and had to go above and beyond to get it assembled. For a standard flat-pack item, this really shouldn’t be necessary.

The finished product looks fine, but the time, effort, and frustration involved in assembling it outweighed the end result. When I contacted Customer service they did not meaningfully address the issues raised, instead relying on generic responses.

Overall, an unnecessarily difficult experience for what should have been a straightforward purchase. I won't be buying from this company again.

Parcel arrived promptly on Thursday 2.4.26 but on checking the contents one side panel of the desk was split in half. Phoned Customer Services at 9.37am and spoke with Jane. She said she would do her best to get a replacement panel dispatched that day but as it was the Easter weekend it would probably not be dispatched until Tuesday 7.4.26 with a delivery date of Wednesday/Thursday 8/9.4.26. However, much to my surprise, the replacement panel arrived on Good Friday 3.4.26 !!! Phoned Customer Services at 9.42am on Tuesday 7.4.26 to express my thanks and appreciation with how my issue was so swiftly resolved. Congratulations Mercers Furniture and especially Jane in Customer Services for going “above and beyond”. Have used this company many times previously and highly recommend them. Many thanks.

Easy to order Quick delivery no probs

Next day delivery was great.
Any order issues are sorted out straight away. Brilliant customer service.
Overall quality was great.

Terrible experience and terrible customer service from Jayne - we ordered a shoe rack that came damaged, we had the replacement parts sent across only to find that the box was also missing a piece. This caused a lot of delay and there was no compensation offered for the inconvenience. When compensation was requested we were advised to dismantle the item and return it for a refund. Would not order from them again.

We have several items from here and love them. Bought a bookcase to match the set and it arrived very different to the photos with clear seams on the backboard that really ruin the piece. We spent 2 hours building it and were not happy with it but when we requested return /refund we were told the only way was if we dismantled it again. We were offered a small partial refund to keep the item but overall unfortunately this has made us lose trust in being able to order more pieces from here as its significantly different to the photos online.
