Review of Melody

I’ve recently used Melody to source music for a film project, and I was pleasantly surprised at how effective the platform was. The catalogue is genuinely cinematic, and the AI-driven search made finding the right tracks far more straightforward than I expected.

Because my process involved working out some structural ideas in GPT. It understood the subject matter, I could ask it to suggest reference tracks from well-known artists on Spotify. Then, using Melody’s feature that lets you paste in a Spotify link, I was able to search for music in a similar style and tone.

This approach worked incredibly well. If you can think of a song that captures the feeling you want, Melody does a brilliant job of providing tracks that sit closely in the same space. The matches were consistently strong, and the overall quality of the music I licensed was excellent.

Pricing was reasonable, the workflow was simple, and the results were exactly what I needed. Overall, I found Melody to be a very effective tool for finding cinematic, emotionally appropriate music quickly and reliably.
