Get into Medicine

Great conference, must attend if you’re planning to apply for medicine.
It actually brought me a lot of comfort and they said exactly what we needed to know to be able to get into medical school, in addition, they brought students from medical school that they previously tutored to give us additional information, which was also really helpful. Medic Mentor Ltd entered insolvency…
Update - they have had to claim the page back. Look at other medicmentor trust pilot before you buy! Lots of real reviews there of the scam being run. Same company
Medic Mentor Ltd entered insolvency owing approximately £380,000 to HMRC. The business and brand were subsequently sold to Mentorverse Ltd, which is controlled by the same director. Look up the companies on company house
Despite this, the Medic Mentor name and branding continue to be used publicly. There is also an older Trustpilot profile for Medic Mentor where historical reviews and company replies remain visible. That profile now appears to have been re-categorised and redirected (labelled as a fitness/yoga site), even though the page still displays Medic Mentor branding and legacy content. Search medic mentor on trust pilot - it’s now called motivating - second on the list with 27 reviews
This creates a misleading impression for consumers and appears designed to obscure the company’s insolvency history and outstanding liabilities.
There is a group of us who are owed money from them. Some of us have also emailed trust pilot and authorities to let the know

All legitimate refund requests relating to Medic Mentor Ltd were honoured in full prior to and during the insolvency process. Refunds were processed correctly and completely, and there are no outstanding refunds that we are aware of.
If someone believes they have a genuine refund request, they are welcome to contact us via our published landline number or contact form so that we can review the details. We are committed to handling any credible queries transparently and fairly.
However, it is important to note that requesting a refund two years after the closure of a company is highly unusual. We have not received any verified refund requests of this nature, and our records indicate that all refunds were resolved at the time.
Medic Mentor Ltd entered a formal insolvency process managed independently by licensed insolvency practitioners in accordance with the law. All creditor matters were handled within that statutory framework fairly, legally and transparently before Medic Mentor LTD was dissolved. Many companies struggled significantly around COVID and sadly, completely closed down. We appreciate that the process of administration is specialist and complex, not clearly understood by everyone, so it can be distressing and we take concerns very seriously. The continued use of the Medic Mentor brand relates to intellectual property assets that were lawfully acquired by Mentorverse LTD. This is a common and permitted outcome in insolvency asset sales and does not in itself imply continuity of liabilities or obligations. With regard to Trustpilot listings, Trustpilot controls its own categorisation, redirects, and legacy profiles. We do not maintain historical Trustpilot pages belonging to Medic Mentor Ltd, nor do we control how Trustpilot labels or displays archived content. Any concerns about platform categorisation are best directed to Trustpilot directly.
Mentorverse Ltd operates transparently, compliantly, and in good faith. We have never sought to obscure insolvency history, nor to mislead consumers. Public records relating to Medic Mentor Ltd’s insolvency remain available through the appropriate statutory channels and a lot of valuable lessons were learned from the process. Mentorverse LTD has now expanded for 2 years, streamlined operations, increased reach and impact. Our widening access work (free services) benefits tens of thousands of students over the last 2 years. The experience of students, parents, teachers and mentors has gone from strength to strength as evidenced by the abundance of positive reviews that you can see on this platform. If you genuinely have concerns about not receiving a refund for a course (although it seems highly to receive this request at least 2 years later and more likely to be written by a competitor), we are always committed to supporting students, parents and anyone in our community. My daughter and I attended the medic mentor online conference to learn more about the UCAT process. We certainly learnt more and the session kept us engaged, interested and enthusiastic for our next step. Very professional delivery and filled us with conference for my daughters medical journey.

This is a scam company
This is a scam company. I enrolled because referred by the school. I asked for full refund as registered in the wrong year, was told they could not refund the deposit even though it was a mistake that I registered too early when my son was doing his GCSE. After paying more than £2k , I havent receive any support, nor product or services from this company. Avoid at all costs.

Hi Rysah, we only have one refund request pending to process on our system currently (so we are assuming that this is you as it also matches your description). We are only waiting for your bank details - our admin team spoke to you on the phone TODAY and then followed up with an email to confirm this. You only confirmed your request to cancel in writing at 15:40pm TODAY. We are a bit confused by this review, because we have already said yes earlier today. We cannot process refunds for direct debits, without your bank account details. As soon as you provide these, we can process your refund for you. We look forward to receiving these at your earliest convenience.

This was such a useful insight into medicine and the steps you need to take that aren’t talked about in year 12. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of a career into medicine as the conference really put everything into perspective.
