It would be nice if MeasureUp actually gave us the option for a Monthly subscription, without an Annual commitment. I understand that it states this up front, when signing up for it. However, a monthly subscription, with the option to cancel at any time, without having to make any further payments, after canceling, would be nice. Just saying.

We understand that a monthly subscription with the flexibility to cancel at any time could be a great option for many users. It’s something we’ve considered, but we also need to balance it with the pricing of individual Practice Tests and the value offered through our annual subscription.
Our current model is designed to provide full access to our platform and content for a year, which often results in better value compared to purchasing Practice Tests individually. That said, your suggestion is very valid, and we’ll definitely pass it along to our product team as we continue to explore new ways to make our offerings more flexible and accessible.

The AZ-500 practice test questions are not representative of the real exam, not even close. While they may help with general Azure security knowledge, they are ineffective for actual exam preparation.

According to the official exam page: Microsoft Learn – AZ-500 (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/azure-security-engineer/?practice-assessment-type=certification), the exam was last updated on January 31, 2025, and our practice test was updated shortly after, in March of the same year: MeasureUp AZ-500 Practice Test (https://www.measureup.com/microsoft-practice-test-az-500-microsoft-azure-security-technologies.html).
We’ve tried to locate your user account in our system (unsuccessfully), and we also reached out for more information to better understand how you used the test and offer guidance on how to get the most out of it — but unfortunately, we haven’t received a response.

Wonderful Customer Service when customers are in financial need
I really appreciate them letting me out of my 1-year contract. I have fallen on difficult financial times, which have been impacting me. I didn't realize it was a 1-year subscription when I enrolled, and I just really appreciate the customer service. This will lead me to leverage this resource again in the future to prepare for my test. I think it is an excellent product that helped me pass my Microsoft Test. However, the annual subscription proved challenging to follow after passing the test. Thank you again, I really appreciate it.

Significantly outdated experience
For the last Microsoft Certifications I did, Measure Up was heavily outdated. The only usefulness is in the general breadth of the questions and the learning mode, which gives nice references to Microsoft's Learn pages (hence the three star rating). But passing a Cert with it directly? Not anymore.

Purchase UX needs work, tests very useful
The purchase to use of the product user experience isn't very intuitive. I found it extremely confusing initially to work out how to get to the learning locker and into the practice tests. The UX needs a pretty hefty overhaul.
The tests themselves were very useful in helping me secure my next certification and I'm glad I purchased the subscription.

Helps understand the level of the exam
I've used MeasureUp a few times when preparing for certification exams. It is always hard to get a feel for how much you need to know about a set of topics and by using MeasureUp I can start to understand the level that is needed and with the detailed explanations to the right and wrong answers it helps me clarify my knowledge.

I signed up to MeasureUp following a recommendation from a friend
I signed up to MeasureUp for their monthly plan thinking that I will use it for a month and then cancel and sign up for the annual subscription. I should have read the T&C more careful as later it turned out that I cannot change from one plan to another the way I thought. So, it's not like a Netflix sub where you can change your plan whenever you want. So, being stuck in the more expensive pay-per-month plan I had to make the most if it.
For the year I spent with MeasureUp I used it to prepare for five different exams and I successfully passed all.
I think this additional tool was generally helpful and useful. I wish the there were more questions for each exam I studied for and would have been nice if the questions were more challenging as they felt quite straightforward to answer unlike the questions I had on the exam.
So more variety and complexity would add value for me.. I will now take a break from all this studying and will be back for more in a few months but this time I will pay for the annual sub from the strart.

Exam questions were way out of date
Exam questions were way out of date, and thus useless for exam prep. I reached out to request a refund in June and MeasureUp assured me they would be updating the exam questions in July. July rolls around, still outdated questions. I reach out, and they now say it's too late for a refund and for me to wait until August.
Scam behavior. Avoid this company and their 'product'.

I have never received training material…
I have never received training material that is so protracted in setting up. I have paid and registered with the right codes ands still have no options to see any Excel questions. I had high hopes for this product, instead I'm out of pocket and looking for another training provider. Massive disappointment!!!!

Dear Adrian, there are two essential requirements for accessing our e-learning courses: downloading and installing the necessary application to launch the course, and meeting the technical requirements (a Windows operating system and Microsoft Office installed).
This application is essential, as the course includes over 140 tasks that are performed directly within the Office application installed on your device. This approach is designed to support your learning by ensuring that you practice in the same environment you use in your daily life—whether that’s Office 2019 or Office 365, both of which may receive updates over time.
Additionally, the tasks are worded in a way that closely resembles what you’ll encounter in the official certification exam. The certification mode also mirrors the exam format, with the same time limit (50 minutes) and number of questions (35 tasks), helping you not only learn Excel but also prepare effectively for the exam.
Our support team has attempted to reach you on a couple of occasions to offer assistance, but unfortunately, we haven’t received a response so far. We remain at your disposal and would be happy to help you get everything set up correctly.

I’ve used measure up for the past 2 Microsoft exams I’ve written. I’ve passed both, usually I’ll read all of the Microsoft learn content, but a book, and get the measure up exams on top of this. The exams help me get comfortable with the questions I’m likely going to be asked during the exam. It kind of takes the edge off.
