The sale of our house was not straightforward. Our solicitor Michelle at Mayo Wynne Baxter was very experienced and although there were a few annoying complications Michelle constantly chased and resolved any issues with other parties to ensure our sale and purchase went through. There are many on-line conveyancing solicitors which offer a cheap service but so many of these do not understand complex country properties or older houses. Highly recommend this company.

Generally the company seemed very efficient and precise in its instructions and paid attention to our concerns appropriately. In the final month of waiting to hear about exchange of contracts, caused it seemed by the inefficiency of the buyer's solicitors, we would have welcomed more proactive sharing of information to update us on any progress, rather than us having to request this. But we accept that this matter was outside the control of MWB.

Advice and support from Sam and Lee at MWB was fast and trustworthy, and I will seek their advice again should I need to.

The service we received was very professional from MWB but I don't think that they were helped by the 3rd party firm they employ to undertake the client checks. This caused a needless delay.

I was also a little frustrated by the fact that lawyers do not seem to think that they can chase another lawyer when the the other lawyer is painfully slow which is what happened here . Once we both got to grips with the issues from the other side we moved along much quicker which was important with the budget looming.
Overall however I was happy with the service and had we not had these two glitches I would happily have given the service a full 5 star rating.
