Cannot say enough awful things about Mavis Tire Hanover Ave. Morristown NJ...Charged me $2526 for a repair that cost me $3000 @ Audi...Better Business Bureau complaint & small claims..JUST DON'T EVER USE THEM!!!

I Made an appointment on Sunday for 1pm Monday to purchase and have tires installed At Mavis 291 East Hanover ave. Morristown NJ. I was called 9 a.m. to confirm my 1p.m. appointment I was told my tires were in, and they were ready for me at 1. I asked if I could drop off the car early as I was working and had a ride available, they said sure no problem. I dropped off my car at 10 a.m., At 4:30 p.m. I call Mavis to let them know I was on my way to pick up my car. Mavis tells me work on my car would be started asap that they had a lot of walk in customers and would probably get to my car in an hour or hour And a half. I was livid what was the point of an on line day in advance $25 deposit appointment? The worst thing you can do is waste or otherwise disrespect a persons time, I told them I was two minutes away, when I got there, I got more excuses; oh were so sorry, we had walk in customers, one of our mechanics didn't show, we had to wait for your tires to come in. I said since you haven't even started on my car (it was in the exact park I parked it in at 10 a.m. ) just give me my keys and refund the 25 dollars deposit I will take my business where it is appreciated. Over the years I have purchased several sets of tires and referred customers to Mavis Montclair West Orange, and Verona locations this was the first time dealing with this Store and on line reservation. Mavis you have lost a lifetime customer will take my business and referrals where time is respected.
