Founded in 2014 by Matea Saule, the brand began with a memory: her grandmother, a dressmaker in Banja Luka, who left finished dresses hanging on a rail when the family fled Bosnia in 1996. That knowledge — the care, the attention, the belief that how something is made matters as much as what is made — became the foundation Matea was built on. Matea isn't only a fashion label, though every piece of clothing is designed in Australia and made in small quantities, considered rather than mass-produced. I ordered the wrong size
I ordered the wrong size and was desperate to get the right size delivered By the following day . The staff member I dealt with was amazing (damn I can’t remember her name )
She sent the smaller size out to me the following day and because it was the weekend was happy to wait till Monday when I could post out the dress I needed to return . I couldn’t of kept both as far as she knew but she trusted me to send it back no questions asked . Amazing customer service

Excellent customer service. Very personal touch from company for keeping in touch with me regularly and even calling Australia Post personally as the parcel was held up due to Covid postal delays. Would definitely ship with Matea again.
