I cannot state strongly enough how amazing Stuart at Martin Dawes was. So so helpful and knowledgeable and the main reason for my score is he LISTENED to all my questions - so many "experts" just want to preach to you. I felt respected and in turn the decision to spend a large sum of money on a soundbar was an easy one. Couldn't recommend this company more - needs to be more customer service like this in this miserable world. Thank you Stuart and team
Bought a Samsung heat pump dryer directly from Samsung which arrived and doesn’t heat up. An engineer was instructed to come out from Martin Dawes a few weeks later, the day arrives and the engineer tells us his machine doesn’t see any faults, although we know there is one because it’s not heating up, again I wait weeks for my next appointment, the engineer turns up with the part damaged! So instead of making services like this a priority they tell me they don’t have any appointments and the next one will be in 2 weeks time! What kind of service is that. So frustrated with the company, yes things happen but how do you not have a system in place for things like this. Priority repairs.
Spoken to Stuart with regards to purchasing a new tumble dryer and he talked me through the different ranges available. I have always used a vented dryer in the past and Stuart discussed a condensor dryer and how that would be much better suited to my needs. Whilst on the phone I also discussed that I wanted to move my television and sky to a different location in my lounge and Stuart advised on what cable extentions I needed in order for me to do this. Stuart was extremely helpful with excellent customer service skills.
These guys always supply my TVs , Stu always does great prices and excellent delivery and also recommend an install guy who is fantastic . Highly recommended.
Went to try martin dawes for the first time in Warrington. stu was awesome and very knowledgeable on TV and I was more than Impressed with what I bought.
Stuart helped me find a TV for my new house when i moved in back at the start of 2022 and it's still working perfectly, would certainly shop here again
Recently purchased Samsung TV and soundbar from the Warrington branch, dealt with a guy called Stuart who was very helpful not pushy and helped me to register my warranty which i was struggling with, highly recommend
Stuart helped me out in 2021 for a TV and still going strong. TV due for an upgrade soon and will definitely be going back.
I ordered an LG FDV309WN Freestanding 9kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer online, which was showing the item as stock, delivery next day. It was a Saturday so I wasn’t expecting delivery until Monday or Tuesday, but when no delivery date was given to me I phoned the support line. Somebody answered and told me unfortunately they have no stock, but more are arriving on Wednesday.
Wednesday came but no delivery date given, so I tried using the online chat service. I explained what I wanted and got no response. I then called the support line, waited 40 minutes and still could not get through so hung up frustrated. I then sent an email, where I received a response shortly after saying someone would contact me. Nobody did.
I waited a couple of days, called again, and was told the same story, we are expecting more items on Wednesday, we will know on Monday and someone will contact you. Again no contact.
I tried calling again this Friday, am told they should be arriving next week and they will know on Tuesday if they have the product and will contact me. I am not expecting a call as the service has been appalling, but will wait until Tuesday and if the product doesn’t arrive (which is highly unlikely), will cancel my order and purchase elsewhere.
I ordered an integrated dishwasher Hotpoint H7I HP42 from Martin Dawes because the website showed the item as being in stock and available for next day delivery and in stock. When I received no update from the company I contacted customer support the following day. They informed me that 'In stock' listed on the web site meant that it was in stock with their supply chain and not necessarily with them, I found this to be somewhat disingenuous. I was then further informed that the supply chain was having issues and there would be roughly a 5 day delay on delivery. On the day I was told I would be contacted I heard nothing so contacted customer support again to be told that there is to be a further delay, seemingly of unknown duration. This should have been made clear at the point of sale, I feel that I have been misled. Because this is an integrated dishwasher, the resulting delay is holding up the final installation of a kitchen and leaving me out of pocket.
At the time of writing, the item is still listed on the website as being in stock and available for next day delivery.

I had a terrible experience with Martin Dawes. From start to finish, the communication was absolutely incompetent. After placing my order for a dishwasher that was listed as "in stock" on their website, I was informed, with no prior notice, that it was delayed and wouldn’t be available for another two weeks.
Trying to get through to anyone for clarification was an absolute nightmare. I waited for hours on the phone and sent multiple emails with no timely response. When I finally did get through, the customer service was rude and unhelpful, providing no shipment information or any real support.
It's beyond frustrating to deal with such unprofessionalism. I wouldn't recommend Martin Dawes to anyone based on this experience.
I recently bought a Panasonic Oled TV from the Gemini Branch.
I needed help and advice on what to go for. Stu the Salesman was very helpful and patient in our discussion. His after sales service was brilliant.
Ordered a dishwasher for next day delivery. After calling some days later I found out it was on 10 day back order. I cancelled the order but the customer services guy was great about it.

My old micro wave was a Panasonic and unfortunately was 11 years old and cooking un evenly. Found the replacement with a better price than elsewhere, great service with updates about dispatch and delivery . Ok I have had to retrain myself in using this as the controls are slightly different. But its great
A very good buying experience. Speedy communication, the best price and good delivery, would use them again.
If you need something quickly don’t bother. They will sell you stuff they don’t have even if it says in stock on their website.
Pretty useless, never answer the phone, I have now been waiting for over 1 hour, paid for a washing machine and told it would be in stock within 5 days, called after 7 and managed to speak to someone who had the phone manners of a troll, told me he would check and call me back, 2 days later and still hasn't called me, rang again and no one is answering, been on the phone now waiting for over 1 hour. Wednesday afternoon from 3.30 to 5 pm is hardly the busiest time of the week!
Delivery was a nightmare, 1 hour arguing when I 0aid for installation, called martin dawes guys still would not install then called his co. After an hour left all the empty packing for me to deal which was included in the price.
Just asked for a price match on a fridge freezer at our local Warrington branch and the salesman simply said " if you can get one for £100 less from Marks Electrical and they have stock then you should get one from that supplier ? I did say the sign outside guaranteeing a price match should be taken down as its misleading as I left to order the fridge freezer on line from Marks Electrical. Was diss appointed actually as a supplier not a mile away seemed a much better bet until this happened.
