Totally disappointed with the service, after emailing to complain that I hadn't received the shoes, they then sent me an email saying you received the shoes several days ago, please tell us what you think, "so I did" finally the shoes got delivered and they are OK.
Would I buy off them again? "No, never"

Absolute scam don’t order anything from them waste of £40 bought loafers took 3 weeks to arrive from china packaged in a plastic bag dis shaped and nothing like picture and they say they are uk based I wouldn’t even put these things on to put my bin out absolute scumbags 🤬

I ordered a pair of shoes and received the wrong size. I immediately contacted the customer service email that showed on my credit card statement for Marley shoes. They emailed me back and said did you try them on? I advise that they are two sizes bigger than what I ordered and they do not fit. I gave the option of a refund or exchange. I never heard a response. I followed up one more time and again no response. Extremely poor customer service do not buy from marleyshoes.com.

Fraudulent say they are based in UK however items come from China. Avoid

Like everyone else who has reviewed I wish I had checked reviews first, took ages to arrive and are poor quality, I emailed them twice to request a refund and not heard anything back, total rip off!

Please do not buy from marly shoes uk,they sent me a pair of boots that looked nothing like the picture also sent the wrong size,cost me £26.20 to send them back to china not UK , completely scammed, boots are very poor quality to, Paul

DISGUSTING!! Thought I was buying from a UK company but instead cheap, nasty shoes from China which took ages to arrive. Have since been trying to get details on how to return these shoes. I suffer with severe arthritis and back issues and was genuinely looking for orthopaedic shoes/boots to help with my condition. Whoever these cowboys are using a UK “family run business” to shield their cheap products are, should be deeply ashamed of ripping off innocent people like myself and their hard earned money. I will do everything I can to get my money back. Typically no phone number just some lame email box and yet with all the negative reviews they don’t appear to be doing anything about actually helping anyone!! F R A U D S !!!

The boots I ordered took a long time to arrive and were too narrow for my feet. I think it will cost too much to return them to China, a disappointment and a complete waste of money. Should have checked the reviews first!

I received my order from Marley shoes they are awful they couldn't look more cheap not even boxed completely squashed tight in package all dented and creased looks second hand do not buy from Marley shoes

Certainly seems like a scam. I ordered a pair of women's boots, received completely the wrong product, a pair of shoes actually. Terribly cheap, awful quality and the smell that came out when I unwrapped bubble wrap was horrendous. It was like the shoes were sprayed in a carcinogenic chemical.

Despite repeatedly attempting to get a refund and an explanation from the compt, I have received what looks to be an AI fob off response only. Horrible experience. This group seems to be scamming a lot of people.

Absolutely terrible shoes cheap plastic stink of glue, they dont even have soles inside, please do not order from this site so annoyed with myself, £37 totally wasted, Marley shoes avoid

Scam, this is not a British company, the shoes are cheap, poor quality, completely rubbish. They come from China! Note to self - REMEMBER TO CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING 🤦‍♀️

Do not use this company. Complete scam. Quality is awful. Ordered shoes Not suitable for purpose. Smell of glue was so strong had to put them straight in the bin

I bought a shoe from Marley but never received it. On chasing them for an update I was told once an item is marked as delivered they aren't interested anymore. I supplied them with photos of my property to compare with that of delivery photos which has nothing to do with my address but they weren't interested. See their response below

Really wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Shoes arrived were nothing like the picture - cheap cheap cheap - arrived from China, probably worth no more than a few £s and when I tried to return, would cost me more in postage and customs duty despite their website saying costs would be covered by them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

I bought a pair of Marley Shoes described as orthopaedic. They were in fact fashion shoes and not the quality I was expecting. When I requested a refund I was offered either 30% refund or a full refund if I returned them to China, paid the customs and tracking. As their website has a banner purporting to be a family UK business I was not expecting to have to send returns to China. Be warned.

Like many people writing a review, I was totally scammed by the poor quality shoes that arrived in the wrong size without a returns label. I also could not contact the company and had continual bounce-backs to my emails. The worst was yet to come as I contacted my bank and found that Marley Shoes had set up a continuous payment on my account so that it could obtain more money. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR BANK IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO. Barclays was extremely helpful and efficient and I will get my money back. What a terrible thing to do to people!

How can we avoid using fraudulent websites like this? Can the UK government help protect customers and raise awareness about scam websites, especially those based in China?
