Excellent service from mantra holidays…
Excellent service from mantra holidays for our 5 days Switzerland trip. Everything was on time and as described in itenary. Our tour guide Anshu given excellent service start to finish. Hotels and food was great. This was group tour organised by Surrey Gujarat with group of 50 people and in coach entertainment was so much enjoyable.

Our 5 day trip to Switzerland has been an excellent experience with Mantra holidays. Ram,Raj and Anshu have been so supportive and fun. Dinners and Breakfast have been mouthwatering. Definitely recommend to all to have holiday planned with Mantra.

It was one of the best holiday experiences I have had seen many different destinations and hotel was good and our guide Anshu was excellent guide and explained everything things and l have had quite few holidays with other tour operators but he came out number one I would recommend my friends and I would travel again with this tour operator also we had two drivers Ram and Raj was get same credit as there driving was professional and drove with care put our safety first

It was 5 days Switzerland tour which we enjoyed it. Our tour manager was Anshu and he was really wonderful, knowledgeable and hardworking man. Everything was perfect and worth it. Thank you.

We really had wonderful trip with Mantra Holidays. The trio- Anshu, Ram and Raj are brilliant!! Anshu has thorough knowledge of all the destinations and was a great help and that made trip more enjoyable. Indian food was just amazing!! This was our second trip with Mantra Holidays and and guaranteed would not be the last. Highly recommended 👍

I wanted to travel Cornwall and Devon and south cost of U.K. for long time, so when I heard about Mantra holiday and so close to where I live. I was very happy so straight away I went to the office and booked the trip. Myself and my husband both absolutely loved the experience. We stayed together for three days like a big families. What can I say about Tour Guide Fatima and coach driverJay very very kind and helpful. Absolutely loved the trip ‘jewel of the crown Cornwall and Devon also Penzance, Torquay, st Ives and Newquay beaches. Absolutely loved the trip.

We booked a 3-day tour to Cornwall and Devon with Mantra (July 11–13), paying £249 per person for a group of 17. Based on the itinerary advertised on their website, the trip looked promising, covering places like Tintagel Castle, Fistral Beach, St Ives, Land's End, and Torquay. Unfortunately, the reality was quite disappointing.

### 🚍 **Day 1: London to Tintagel to Fistral Beach**

Our pickup from Hounslow West was scheduled for 6:45 AM, but the bus arrived late (7:10 AM). After two more pickups and a 30-minute breakfast stop (where the queue was too long after 20 to 25 mins only you will get food), we were asked not to eat hot food or ice cream on the coach because they said some may have motion sickness.but we don't have any other way.so we ate rolls n burger @ coach

We reached **Tintagel Castle** at 2 PM — the only truly iconic site on the trip. But we were only given **1.5 hours**, barely enough to walk to the castle, let alone enjoy the beach or the cliffs. The time pressure meant we had to rush everywhere, and the lack of information about the shuttle wait (which cost £2 and delayed us 25+ minutes) meant we were late returning. As a result, we were scolded publicly by the tour manager, even though the delay wasn’t entirely our fault and forced to say sorry.after this she announced in mic that due to some people, other people lost there time ,it will not happen again etc it's bit uncomfortable.( people who have small kids and elderly people came early because they just walked to the cliff and came back. If you want to explore it's not enough at all ,you will miss other cliff ,beach etc

We then headed to **great western beach**, arriving at 5:30 PM for one hour — not much to explore. A better allocation of time (e.g., less time here and more at Tintagel) would’ve improved the day. We were supposed to check in to the hotel by 8 PM, but due to the tour manager and driver taking the **wrong route**, we ended up arriving at 9 PM. Thanks to a kind local lady who parked her car walked for 0.6 mile to show the way , we found the right way after the bus got stuck on a narrow, both side wood covered road

👉 Total sightseeing time: \~2.5 hours.

🌊 **Day 2: St Ives – Land’s End – Penzance**
We left at 8 AM, reached **St Ives** at 10:15 AM, but had to wait for a shuttle to reach the beach. Though we did get 2 hours here and enjoyed it, time was tight again.

Next stop was **Land’s End** around 1:45 PM. With just 1.5 hours to explore and eat lunch, it was impossible to properly enjoy the location. The queue for the landmark photo spot alone took most of that time.(1hour). Then 30 mins for exploring and food can't able to see other places there
We reached the hotel at around 7:30 PM.
👉 Total sightseeing time: \~3.5 hours.

🏖️ **Day 3: Torquay – Torre Abbey Sands – London**
After checkout at 8:30 AM, we reached **Torquay** at 10:30 AM. Due to high tide, we were only shown the beach from the bus, with no time allocated for it — even though it was listed in the itinerary.
We got 2 hours in Torquay town, including time for lunch, but couldn't fully explore or eat properly. Some travelers who went on a boat trip were misinformed by local staff, and this caused a further delay. The tour manager could have communicated better here.

On our way back the shore was visible(peoples in the shore) we asked to stop but they didn't give time there.

we stopped for a **45-minute break at Reading services**, possibly due to driver hours. We arrived at Hounslow West around 6:55 PM.
👉 Total sightseeing time: \~2 hours
### ⚠️ **Final Thoughts**

Across the **entire 3-day trip, we only got about 8 hours** of actual sightseeing. The rest was spent in the coach or dealing with delays. The tour was poorly planned and mismanaged:

* Rushed schedules and minimal time at key locations.
* Poor communication from the tour manager.
* Wrong routes
* Lack of flexibility despite itinerary changes.

If you’re booking this trip expecting a rich experience based on the advertised itinerary — **be warned**. You’ll spend most of your time sitting on the coach and rushing through beautiful locations with little time to enjoy them.

I would **not recommend Mantra** and will not be using them again. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

Our recent group tour to Switzerland from 9th to 13th July 2025 was made truly unforgettable thanks to the exceptional care and planning of Ramana and Raj from Mantra tours.
Their calm presence, precise coordination, and genuine commitment to making things run smoothly stood out from day one.

Ramana was composed, attentive, and incredibly efficient in handling everything from seating arrangements to on-the-spot concerns, always with a smile and steady re-assurance. Raj worked quietly and effectively behind the scenes, ensuring everything stayed on track without a hitch.

Of course, every group comes with its own mix of needs and expectations – but what truly made this journey memorable was how Ramana and Raj consistently led with empathy, patience, and a human touch. They didn’t just manage a tour – they created an experience that felt personal, enjoyable, and well cared for.

My Switzerland trip is almost over, and I'm still pinching myself! A huge, thank you goes out to our incredible tour managers, Ramanna aka VIRU SAHASTRABUDDHE (VIRUS) and Rajesh Bhai. Seriously, if there's a Nobel Prize for 'Making Travel Awesome,' these two deserve it.

We just had trip to switzerland for 4 days by coach. Tour manager Raman and Rajesh drove us and showed more than mention on website. Coach is very clean and hotel was good standard. Food was lots of variety. Both carefully considered comfort of all passengers. In this group people were all ages. Young children and aged over 70. Everyone had thoroughly enjoyed whole time. I am going next month another holiday. As I just retired. Good value for money. As if I booked myself cost more and couldn't see everything which they managed to show.

Don't know where can I start from. The Tour, the Food, the Accommodation or the Perfect Duo of Ramna & Raj, Absolutely amazing trip. It's been 15 years I travelled like this in a group tour & these guys have changed my perspective towards group travel. Brilliantly perfect tour.
Only 3 things matters while you travel The food, the accommodation & the company. Trust me, they have it all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour guides Ramana and Rajesh's company during the duration of our trip. We traveled from 09/07/25 - 13/07/25 for Senic Swiss Tour and we were blessed with most amazing, and kind hearted tour guides who not only looked after the youngsters but made sure my mother who is an elderly, was satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed herself. They have made sure we were all comfortable and had what we needed and made sure we get to places on time. I would definitely recommend them as your tour guides. On one of the instances they even had the caters that we loved in our first hotel, they made sure we had the same ones for our accommodation in France that we were checking in on our 4th day which made us feel very welcomed and and taken care of.

We have had a most wonderful trip to Scenic Swiss with Mantra . Ramana and Rajesh have been amazing in providing excellent service all through the way making this a great memorable experience.
We will definitely be using Mantra for all our next trips 👏👏

Almost all of the excursions are included so you have a chance to do everything.

Ramana and Rajesh were our tour guides to our trip to Switzerland and I have to be honest that because of our tour guides we had a lot of fun. They made us feel very comfortable and helped us whenever needed and were always there for support.
And if I had to take another trip with Mantra Holidays I would definitely prefer having them again.
