I wanted to add Apple CarPlay to our Citroen DS3, and used Magpie Automotive Solutions after finding them online through a google search. I’d assumed beforehand that it would be quite a complicated process however I couldn’t have been more wrong… It was very simple indeed and Magpie were there to lend a hand if needed. Very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend them to others.

Really great service got CarPlay installed on my DS4. Took less than 15 mins and great responsiveness to requests overall.

Came to David to get CarPlay installed on my old Peugeot 208, within 2 hours of me enquiring on WhatsApp he had me booked in, replaced it within 10 mins and had me on my way. Everything works perfectly, parts are genuine and price is more than fair, especially considering the generous offer to fit it for free.

On top of all that a lovely guy, can tell he loves what he does and prides himself in his work. Will be coming back again for any other needs in future.

Contacted them regarding price for Android Auto for my 2016 Peugeot 308.I’d priced it up on line for rough pricing.Price was agreed (very reasonable)and as only 20 mins drive decided easier to take to him.Arrived at arranged time,greeted by David.Very polite and informative.Got on with job .Very tidy and professional service.Explained how it operated etc when installed.VERY happy with end product and service and would recommend Magpie Auto to anyone.Will definitely use again with any other electrical issues on my car 10/10 in my opinion

I had a major issue with Lane Departure camera on a Citroen C5 Air Cross. In short the car was due to go back after the end of the lease period and couldn't as the dash showed the fault. I was looking at a £850 plus bill from Citroen to replace the camera. Citroen failed to source the camera and I was stuck with the car indefinitely. I would have overrun my lease and was therefore looking at a full annual service plus MOT (all in I estimate I was looking at a bill of £2k) and that's IF Citroen could even get the part. I mean what if they took 6 months??

I got on to Dave at Magpie Autos and within a day had a new camera ready to go and it cost less than £400 new.

On installing the camera the fault did not clear, so I called Dave and this is where the awesome service just continued. Dave sent out a diagnostics tool and link to some software that enabled him to remote in, update firmware and get to the bottom of the problem. He also sent a spare camera just incase. This was all done with any messing about. Within about an hour of remote connecting the fault was resolved and I was able to hand the car back on schedule on 21/07/25....

Dave at Magpie Autos gave all the necessary support with clear instructions where a main dealer network had failed to even order the parts.. I would highly recommend Magpie Automotive Solutions. The customer service and prices are 100% spot on.

I purchased a newly released 2024 Vauxhall Corsa Hybrid, which unfortunately was involved in an accident. The collision severely damaged the ABS pump, rendering it beyond repair. Due to the vehicle being a brand-new release, there was very limited information available on how to program a replacement module or carry out a hybrid crash reset.

David was incredibly helpful throughout a lengthy and technically challenging remote diagnostic process. He successfully virginised a used ABS ECU pump and programmed it to work seamlessly with the vehicle. On top of that, he also carried out a hybrid crash reset—something even main dealers were unable or unwilling to do.

David’s expertise in advanced diagnostics is truly impressive and goes far beyond standard dealership capabilities. I highly recommend his services to anyone needing specialist automotive diagnostic solutions.

I had an issue with the front radar sensor on a Peugeot 3008 hybrid. Magpie diagnosed and resolved the issue while I waited, they were very friendly and helpful and I definitely will be using them should I have any other diagnostics or coding issues.
