It's the adverts. That hideous sound of an ice-cream being bitten into, I put my fingers in my ears each time it comes on. Sounds like concrete being broken, it's dreadful, I can't be the only one. Nothing about your ad makes me want to buy one.
However I did just to see...expensive small and I certainly didn't get any 'crack' from the thin film of chocolate. Stop ripping us off.

Absolutely disappointed, the ice-cream lolly is around 1/2 the size of the original size. The chocolate is waffer thin like a cheap choc-ice. Three ice-creams would usually just fit into the box nicely. There would be enough space for around five to six of the lollies now in original box, but reduced the box size too. The price has also gone up to £3.62. Joke is, never worried about an environmentally friendly box or plastic.

Amazing flavor. Rich and. Creamy. It made me happy. Right know I am eating the double sea salt caramel. It's the last time i am enjoying before I die sadly cancer taking over and want say thank you and keep up the good work.

Much smaller ice creams, much more expensive, will be changing to another brand…….another regular customer lost!!

The exaggerated crunch noise of their advert just ruined my evening meal. I usually manage to switch channels before hand but the new ad caught me out. I went shopping for ice-cream this afternoon and I used to buy Magnum but have switched to Nuii now. Well done on losing another customer 👏

Half size magnums for an increase in price,, last ones i,ll ever buy,, ripped off

Just bought a packet of 3 Magnums for £3.50 and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Not only are they smaller, the chocolate layer is now thinner than even the cheap shop own brands. The advert always used to make me laugh with the exaggerated crunching noise, now it will annoy me as it is totally false advertising. Will not be buying anymore. Congratulations for ruining what used to be a great product.

Constantly shrinking, rarely undamaged, always overpriced. It's no wonder why people buy "fake" magnums. let's be honest, even real magnums are fake magnums

If I could give a 0-star review I would because looking at the state of the once beloved magnum ice creams it's just disappointing, to say the least.

I bought two boxes of magnum almond ice creams, at different time frames. At first, I was shocked by the lack of the chocolate layer and almost nonvisible almond pieces and just thought to myself that it had to be just one bad batch.
But oh boy was I wrong because months later the next box with smaller, lacking chocolate and almonds all the same.
The only thing that wasn't up to match was the price because almost 6 euros for a box of 3 with this quality is just ridiculous...
Magnum has been my favorite go-to treat for 15 years, every summer like clockwork I would buy a box of magnums every week till the end of summer.
To think corporate doesn't care about customers this much is just sad and outrageous, magnum for many is childhood and memories ingrained in an ice cream bar.

So if making a few extra bucks off loyal customers while destroying their beloved memories is worth it be my guest and go for it. But I won't spend my money on magnum anymore.

Not even deserve a star at all anymore! Magnum was my all the time favourite ice cream and now, it is the most disappointing ice cream ever. It's companies where prices are raised, reduction of quality ingredients and making everything smaller that makes me stop buying them anymore. Very disappointed.

They have changed their icecreams recipe and also size. Not worth buying and very disappointing as they were my favourite

Loved Magnum Almond Ice Cream: pricey, but was a special treat! Recently, something has happened. At first I thought it had been stored incorrectly somewhere. But the next box was just the same. Really insipid. Not actually worth even a star, unfortunately. Still pricey, smaller, and very bland. Not a treat at all. Sorry about that.

Recently bought a box of magnum classic. I don't know what you have changed in the recipe... but it tastes awful, bitter and leaves a horrible aftertaste. Even my dog didn't want to finish the icecream part, and he licks his own bum!

After taste is really sour and gross.
Not sure if they are using beaver butt for the vanilla these days but i wont be having them again. Yuk!

I bought a pack of Magnum 12 bites - 183 ml. I expected the pack to have 12 bites - since it says it does on the front. The pack was sealed but it only had 9 bites. It might be a little thing to Unilever, but if they aren't going to put 12 bites in the packet they shouldn't advertise it as having 12. It's impossible to share 9 bites equally among 4 kids. Thanks Unilever

Shameful Disappointment from Unilever

I am an innocent client who spent hard-earned money on three tubs of Magnum ice cream, each at R125.00, only to find that they were spoiled. I contacted Magnum through their social media platform and was greeted by Mr. Luciano from the Consumer Engagement Centre. He was apologetic and asked for more information in order to trace the problem.

After two weeks, he responded and asked for my purchase slips and the barcodes of each tub. I was surprised that he needed this information, as I had already provided him with proof of purchase from my bank statement. I also questioned why he did not contact the distribution center or recall the deliveries to the stores where I had purchased the ice cream.

Mr. Luciano eventually told me that the ice cream had spoiled due to "abuse in temperature." I was shocked. Am I supposed to go to every store that sells Magnum ice cream and ask the staff if their freezers are regulated to Unilever's standards? This is not my responsibility.

I believe that Unilever should reimburse me for the full cost of the ice cream, not just one tub. I did nothing wrong and should not be penalized for the negligence of the stores that sold me spoiled ice cream.

I am writing this message to warn others about the poor customer service of Unilever. I will never buy Magnum ice cream again, and I urge you to do the same. There are many other brands of ice cream that are just as good, and they are not likely to leave you disappointed.

Never Support Giant Brands Like Unilever

Unilever is a giant brand that does not care about its customers. They are more concerned with protecting their profits than with ensuring that their products are safe to eat. If you buy Magnum ice cream, you are taking a risk. You could end up spending a lot of money on spoiled ice cream, and you will not be reimbursed for your loss.

I urge you to never support giant brands like Unilever. There are many smaller, independent brands that care about their customers and make high-quality products. Support these brands instead of the big corporations that only care about their bottom line.

I hope that my story will help you to make better choices about the products that you buy. Do not support companies that do not care about their customers. Choose brands that are committed to providing you with safe, high-quality products.

They used to be tasty and reasonably generous icecreams. Now the icecream is almost the size of the stick! Maxibons for me from now on.
