Really good service, almost half the price of Apple. Managed to get the repair done (Mac screen replacement) same day, Riffy went above and beyond in helping me get this urgent repair done, really thankful and would highly recommend!

I would strongly advise anyone to think very carefully before using this company.

My experience has been extremely poor from start to finish. What should have been a straightforward screen repair turned into a month-long ordeal with constant delays, unclear communication, and inconsistent information.

Initially, I was told the repair would be completed quickly. This then changed to a much longer wait due to lack of stock, which was not communicated upfront. After requesting a refund and return of my device, it was sent back in a worse condition than when I originally provided it, leaving it unusable.

Following further back-and-forth, I was effectively forced to return the laptop again just to get it into a usable state. While the screen has now been replaced, the device has come back with additional physical damage to the chassis, including visible scuffing and signs of impact that were not present before.

Throughout this process:

* Communication was inconsistent and often reactive rather than proactive
* Timelines were repeatedly missed or changed
* I had to chase for updates and resolution
* The handling of the device raised serious concerns

This has cost me significant time, disruption to my work, and unnecessary stress.

In the end, the only way to get a working device was to continue engaging with them after multiple failures, which should not be the case for a paid repair service.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I have a MacBook Air M1 2020, this unfortunately developed a screen fault, no cracks, chips, damage or knocks it just stopped running the display. It worked fine with a separate monitor, keyboard and mouse. Nothing would reverse this problem. I booked it in with Apple at Lakeside, had a technical expert plug it in to a diagnostic device and screen and then told me it has an internal display fault and would need a complete replacement. A very expensive way forward and not worth it. I scoured the internet and found macbookfix I gave them a call and spoke to Riffy and he was extremely helpful and was able to offer a great service to resolve my issue. Exactly as described on their website I logged in and booked my machine in for repair. There’s other companies offering similar services but they did not offer the package offered by macbookfix.co.uk. I sent it in as advised and received it back as promised in first class condition. My MacBook Air is in an absolute mint condition and came back the same way. Not a scratch, chip or ding in perfect condition. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with this company. Its first class, professional and highly skilled. Well done and thank you all for a stellar experience.

Dropped off my Macbook Pro to repair my broken screen. Turnaround was fast, but after an hours use after it had been returned, I noticed some lines on the screen, and contacted them right away, and the staff was super apologetic, and I went back to drop it off at the shop. When returned a few days later, it was as good as new.

My Macbook was pretty much dead - I had nearly given up hope of an affordable repair. Then I found Macbookfix who offered a way of checking it for just £20. Within days they announced that a new screen would bring it back to life for around £300. Communication was a brief problem as they have multiple names and domains for their businesses and matching domain names. However once we were communicating WhatsApp everything became much easier.
