Great experience at Ashton Court...
Such a lovely way to spend time with Family in the awkward bit between boxing day and before New Year...
The interactive light bit where my son could move the huge spot lights was his favourite and the snow spray bit ( only thing id ask to improve on is the snow spray lasted for just few secs ...could of been longer.
Roasting Marshmallows over the Fire was great..( Bring your own sticks and marshmallows as way cheaper )
Fantastic time...was well spread out also so lasted good amount of time.

Fantastic display , despite the pouring rain it was still very magical. Would definitely recommend

Our first Luminate so didn't really know what to expect. It was OK - we came out not disappointed but not amazed and over excited either.
Pre paid parking - which was a waste of time, majority hadn't even paid parking at all and there was nobody checking anything when we entered so you can save a little there and pay on the night if need be. On entry we were guided to park in the overflow which was pitch black and muddy also blocked in when we returned so took a while to get out - not what you'd expect at such an event.
Also pre-paid the booking protection cover - which didn't actually cover anything we needed it to so save a bit there too.
The actual luminate walk itself was really pretty, very impressive in parts and clearly a lot of work and effort gone into it. Very atmospheric and we were really glad we went. I do however feel its very very over priced though - families cant afford this so close to Christmas and its a shame. Although, I feel you'd get the same vibe driving/walking around looking at Christmas lights in streets and shopping centres.
The were food and drinks available - prices what you'd expect theses days at such events, but a nice atmosphere everywhere.
Overall - a nice family night if your feeling a little flush. A lovely atmosphere throughout the whole experience (except the carpark), lots of photo opportunities and generally a nice evening.

Previously visited with the Grandchildren but took the dogs this time for fun and they loved it, each time there are changes to the displays that make it fresh and engaging. Volunteer staff were friendly and helpful. Glitter balls with the lights in the trees was beautiful.

This year's one is one of the best one I've been to. Lots of different lights

My first visit to Luminate at Margam Park, although the rest of the family have been before.
It was amazing, so glad I went.
Even on a mobility scooter, it was easy to navigate, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The light shows were fantastic, a truly magical night out.
I'll definitely be back again!

We had a very enjoyable experience at Ashton Court, Bristol. The whole thing appeared to be put together very well from the parking to the actual display. We found the staff very helpful.

A really stunning light trail! We visited a few days begore christmas and it didnt disappoint. It really got us into the christmas spirit. The trail was just the right length that ypu could take you time to wander and see it all. There were plenty of food and drink option (not the cheapest mind) and only a couple of fairground rides, which I was happy about as the ppint of going is to see lights, not fairground rides. We had to change the date of our visit justa couple of days before (double booked) and this was simple to do with a small chatge. We'd happily go again!

Expensive for what it was. I feel it was overpriced. Lovely experience otherwise.

We have been every year since it opened in 2019 (bar the unmentionable, infamous 2020) it has become ingrained in one of our traditions, it's not Christmas until we've been to Luminate! They manage to make it special every year, we were lucky with the weather this year also but we have been in all weathers, nothing can dampen the Christmas spirit when you go to Luminate.

Where to start , best light show o have ever seen , just magical

Our 1st Luminate due to the extended doggie nights at Sandringham. Really enjoyed it. Loved the trees lit up with disco balls best. The 1/2 way point did seem to be more like 2/3. Although we liked the music choices, they did repeat too soon & often. Surely it wouldn't cost much to have a longer playlist. Same with the fairies, or fairy. With todays technology i'm sure different fairies wouldn't be too difficult, instead of the same blonde tinkerbell sequence used 10 times! Why not a brunette, & a boy etc with different actions.
We did really enjoy the night & will definitely be booking again next December.

This was our first time visiting Luminate at Coombe Abbey. Parking was well organised and the time slotted arrivals meant it was not overcrowded. All the staff working the event were friendly and welcoming despite being stood in the cold. We were a party of 6 of varying ages from young teens to older adults (mid fifties) and we all loved the experience. There was something for everyone with lots of interactive displays to keep everyone entertained. As a big lover of nature, especially trees, the way the lights illuminated their beauty was just stunning. I especially loved the fairy garden despite being in my 50s! All in all we found the whole event quite magical and we are looking to attend again as a family next year at one of the other locations local to us. Highly recommended.

We visited Sandringham illuminate on a dog friendly night with our two dogs. I thought this option offered was a brilliant idea. The staff were friendly, the lights were beautiful and a lovely evening altogether. Only downside was we happened to have the windiest wettest days of the whole month 😄

It was a lovely experience and great for the children (aged 3 6 & 11)

Stunning mix of laser and static light displays beautifully arranged around the botanical gardens.

Very pleasant experience with the children. Not to difficult with a pram and lots of lovely lights to look at.

Magical evening, loved by everyone

The light trail itself was magical. The prices of the marshmallows and rides was atrocious. A lovely night was had. Just expensive.
