UPDATED REVIEW
After leaving the review, I was called by the support team. They had investigated the issues, which an unfortunate series of events had caused, one of which was my emails to support going to spam. I appreciated that the problems were taken seriously.
Thanks to Rob and the support team for looking into the issues and making amends.
INITIAL REVIEW
I contacted the company to enquire when would be best to place an order for delivery in Mid June and was told to book sooner to allow time for the pallet to go through the delivery network.
Immediately after ordering, I noticed I had missed something off, and as instructed in the email contacted the support team. I received no response and after 2 days the order shipped anyway.
To make the issue more frustrating, the delivery company did not call to book a delivery time, as described on the website and email. I received a call when they were outside the house, and as I did not want to pay a £75 re-delivery fee, they delivered it I was at work. Meaning it sat on the drive for hours, and I could not check the product over.
Whilst I cannot blame the company for me forgetting to order something, the poor support and inaccurate information about delivery caused more agro than needed

I've ascertained that your pallet is now with the delivery company. The delay in its collection was unfortunately due to significant backlogs and high demand at Global Stone, which is impacting the dispatch of many orders at present. We are very sorry for this situation and any inconvenience it is causing.
We did place a notice on our website to inform customers about these potential delays with Global Stone orders. We have been actively following up on your order every day, and I'm pleased to confirm that it is now scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

Great Service
Although the samples I received were broken (carrier had damaged the box and actually lost on sample!) the people at LSD were fabulous, offering to send out new samples same day. As it happened, the pieced I did receive were just what I was looking for, and I can't wait until we are ready to order.

Poor Delivery Service by Cpourier
Product was excellent, but i was told by your company that i would receive a phone call 1 hour before delivery so i knewwhen arrivial was happening. I received no phone call so contacted LSD again, who in turn spoke with the carriers, who informed me delivery would be made after 12:30pm that day, but would still receive a phone call from then to acknowledge ETA. I went out and when I cam back qt 11:30am the delivery of goods had arrived and planted right outside our frontdoor, and not where I wanted it. I therefore had to manually handle 200 plus stones to the right area. I reported this to LSD and had no response, so my experience was extremely poor

We are genuinely sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the delivery process. We understand the importance of a smooth and convenient delivery, and we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We partner with an external delivery network, Palletways, which we have generally found to be very reliable in keeping our customers informed. Their standard procedure includes sending a text message on the day of delivery with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) and contacting you beforehand to arrange a suitable delivery day.
While a direct phone call from the driver on the day of delivery is not part of their standard service, we can certainly make that request. In your case, Palletways did send a text message at 10:25 am with the estimated arrival time, and the driver arrived at 11:04 am, which was within the communicated time window. The delivery was made to the side of your car and near your front door to ensure your vehicle could still access the driveway.
We acknowledge your point about the driver potentially calling you or us to confirm the best placement for the pallet, especially as you were not immediately available. We understand the driver's time constraints, but we agree that a quick call in such situations could prevent inconvenience. We were contacted by the driver, and a decision was made to leave the delivery to avoid a potential redelivery charge for you.
We understand that this may not have been the ideal solution for you, and we sincerely apologise for any extra effort this caused in moving the materials.
We value your feedback and will certainly be discussing your experience with Palletways to see what improvements can be made to their service in the future.
We hope that despite the delivery challenges, you are pleased with the quality of the wall you have built.
