Lola's - Lola's Westfield Stratford Anmeldelser

I’ve been a loyal customer of Lola’s Cupcakes for years and have always associated them with special occasions, especially my birthday. Unfortunately, my most recent experience at their Stratford store was really disappointing.

I had previously been told I’d receive a free birthday cupcake as a Love Club member, but was then informed in-store that there’s now a £5 minimum spend — which contradicted what I’d been told. The staff member was also quite cold and unwelcoming, which made the experience feel even worse.

To add to that, I was told my usual Strawberry & Cream cake had been discontinued “years ago,” despite it being something I’ve ordered consistently in recent years. I ended up buying cupcakes instead, but they were carelessly packaged and damaged by the time I opened the box.

Customer service afterwards was polite but didn’t really reflect the level of disappointment.

Sadly, what used to feel like a brand that valued loyalty and its customers has lost its special touch. It now feels more transactional, and focused on spend rather than customer experience.

Overall very good.
However, chocolate fudge cake needs just a little less icing all around

Cake for husband birthday

Cake was so moist and it looked good and tasted good.

Beautiful cake as always and forgot how delicious Lola’s red velvet cake is as it’s really not easy to find a proper, decent red velvet cake!

Always fantastic cakes and cupcakes. Such great flavors and combinations.

I ordered the dinosaur cake for my sons 4th birthday. The cake looked and tasted amazing. Will be ordering more birthday cakes in the future.

Gorgeous decoration on the cake, well done!

The cake that we've ordered was one of the best we've ever eaten. Also it was so properly packed and presented nicely! I didn't expect that at all! Collection was quick and easy as well.

Great service, really easy to book and collect. The cake was lovely and really fresh. I’ve always ordered my cakes from here and I highly recommend it!

The cake was amazing. Both decorations and texture of the cake was really tasty with fresh raspberries and Blueberries really gave the balance between sweet and tangy. I will most definitely coming back to Lola's. Thank you.

Raspberry Lemon cake - moist fresh and not too sweet - divine !
Quick and easy ordering with click and collect option .

Great selection including gluten free and vegan for the birthday party I threw for my daughter. The individual take home cupcake boxes were also a bargain compared to getting them elsewhere!

I ordered a princess cake for my daughter’s birthday and my sister ordered a unicorn cake for her birthday both was looking very pretty and very nicely packed, however upon cutting cake realised they are very hard and so dry specially the princess one was bone dry none of the kids enjoyed it and they end up chucking in the bin it was my first experience with Lola’s cupcakes. I found them over hyped and over priced and absolutely tasteless kids chuck all the cake in bin and no one enjoyed it. Have to get ice-cream later for celebration which was very well enjoyed. Never ordering from here again.

Excellent service from ordering to delivery and the cake was great. Keep up the good work.

The cake was easy to Order and a personalised message gave a special touch! The cake was moist and not overly sweet. The mascarpone frosting was lovely. A fresh and light taste with just the right amount of everything!

My exprience with Lola’s is always excellent everytime I come to any Lola’s branch. 🙏🏻 Well done!

I bought 2 cakes, the red velvet cake as a gift to someone who had never tried red velvet before (they absolutely loved it!) and the other Dubai chocolate cake to try out. It was amazing! The fluffiness of the pistachio sponge, just the right amount of knafeh, perfection! Definitely recommend Lola's to everyone who loves cakes!

The cake tasted amazing!! It was beautifully decorated and incredibly moist. I will definitely be ordering from Lola’s again for any special occasions!

Staff at the Stratford branch were lovely when I went to collect my order. There was a lady wearing a hijab that was especially kind, didn’t catch her name but wanted to show her special appreciation as she congratulated me on the achievement written on my cake:)

The staff are so friendly, the cakes are always 10/10 - no notes x
