Sadly disappointed…

The order and communication were properly done and satisfactory. The Vegan Raspberry and Passionfruit Cake was unfortunately not tasty, at all. The “buttercream” substitute tasted only of margarine and also quite salty. I was expecting a sour and sweet flavour especially because of the passionfruit but it was bland and basically tasted of sugar and margarine, the whole cake. It was for my husband’s birthday and none of our guests could actually finish their slice. Sadly disappointed. Because every cake I bought there before were tasty, including the chocolate vegan one.

Besvarelse fra Lola's - Lola's Canary Wharf

Hello Mon,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback about your recent order with us.

We are truly sorry to hear that the Vegan Raspberry and Passionfruit Cake did not meet your expectations. We appreciate you bringing the issues with the flavour and texture of the cream cheese icing used to our attention. We are concerned to learn that the cake was bland and salty, and we understand your disappointment, particularly given your positive past experiences with our other vegan cakes.

We would like to assure you that all of our products are made from scratch and handcrafted by our bakery team, who take great pride in using high-quality ingredients to create fresh cakes and cupcakes baked for the date of delivery.

We do apologise that this experience fell short of our usual standards and will be sure to log this directly with our bakery team to review further.

If you would like to discuss your feedback further with our team directly please do reach out to us directly at hello@lolascupcakes.com so we can assist you further with this.

Best wishes,

It was perfect

It was perfect, I ordered a cake for my birthday and was a little nervous about it, it was my first time with Lola’s cupcakes. The place was a bit difficult to find when you’re not used to the city but the employee was very friendly and helpful so I totally forgot about that :)

Great looking cake BUT cheap buttercream and stale cake

Beautiful looking vegan lemon & blueberry bow cake, but the taste was awful. Really cheap buttercream that just tasted of butter, the cake itself was stale. We couldn't finish it. So disappointing as i love Lolas cakes usually, I have tried so many other cakes from them which were really good and tasty. This vegan lemon & blueberry bow cake was a new one for a i wanted to try for a birthday gathering, hugely disappointing

HI Nguyen, Sorry you didn't enjoy the cake. If you can drop us a quick email to hello@lolascupcakes.com, we will ensure we refund the cake, and give you an opportunity to try something else. On this occasion we didn't hit the spot, but we'd like to have an opportunity to bake for you again. Asher

Best gluten free cakes

The gluten free cakes are the best from everything I’ve ever tried before. Both Red Velvet and Banoffee cakes were delicious and everybody enjoyed it.
