First time doing this it was lovely bus comfortable driver lovely plenty time to explore where you go to

Went a day trip to St Andrews + Anstruther was lucky to have lovely weather , driver was entertaining + everything went to plan after a small delay (wait for a replacement bus) recommend the day trip's well organised + professional company

On time. Comfortable travel. Delicious afternoon tea and steam train ride was great!

Everything was well timed and organised with the trip
Only thing we found was that on the steam train all tables where set out for 4 people, wasnt really an issue with us, but it could be for people who arent as out going or have an illness and dont like sitting/eating at a table with complete strangers, so that is something that should be stated on the booking form or at time of booking if on phone.

Overall well worth the money, the weather defo makes the scenery better
Nice wee stop of at the Kelpies for an hour this can vary due to travel time etc, but we had no travel issues
Driver was nice enough.
So for something that little bit different and good price get booking

Just returned from a 5day North Coast 500 tour with. Loch Lomond travel and it was excellent.
Our driver Louise was superb,was very friendly and knowledgeable,stopping at all the best viewpoints.
Scotland is a beautiful country and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the parts that wouldn’t normally be on a normal holiday route.
Obviously the weather helps and we were very lucky with that too.
Our stay at the Gairloch hotel was comfortable with good food and service and our room with a view over the Gairloch was just the ‘icing on the cake’,however our one minor blemish on the trip was an intermittent hot water issue to this room.
Our second stop at the Station hotel,Thurso was in the coach house which was a very modern,spacious and comfortable room with again good food and service.
So overall a superb trip,good value for cost of trip.

We had a lovely trip today to Inveraray and Oban . A lovely friendly driver who looked after us very well well

Hilton Hotel in Rochdale excellent room , good food.

Haworth and Skipton were lovely with stunning scenery.

Regarding the 1940s weekend , I’m afraid it was NOT.
Very misleading , a few tents with some dancing and half a dozen people dressed up.
3 dads army old men and one jeep at the station.

Recently went on 1940’s weekend trip to Haworth. Pick up was Glasgow at 8.15 am. Disappointed there was no Ayrshire pick up for this trip which meant leaving home very early in the morning due to the horrendous road works in Glasgow just now. The coach then went on to pick up passengers in Hamilton and Abingdon. Had 45 minute stop before arriving in Skipton around 1.45-2.00 pm. Left Skipton at 4 pm heading on to hotel Hampton by Hilton in Rochdale. Comfortable clean hotel, decent evening meal buffet (although I believe not everyone got the full 3 courses) and nice enough buffet breakfast, albeit not very hot.
Headed out at 10.00 am to Haworth next day. Took around 1 hr 15 mins. Dropped off at Haworth train station which is much too far to walk to the top of Main Street, all uphill. I guess you could get a bus somewhere but you have to find this out for yourself. It’s bad enough for those with no mobility issues let alone those with walking problems. Not sure why people couldn’t have been dropped off at the top of the Main Street and picked up at the bottom where the train station is instead of walking all the way up and then back down again.
Spent 3 hours in Haworth before pick up again at the train station at 3 pm. Had a couple of short stops on way back. Arrived Glasgow 8.40 pm. While the trip itself and the attractions at Haworth were enjoyable, we felt too much time spent on coach which wasn’t particularly comfortable, especially if sitting at the back. Short comfort stops of 30-45 mins. Not a lot of time to buy coffee/food if there are already queues of people. Good idea to take a packed lunch or something to eat if you want to miss the queues and the expense of these service stations.
We definitely wouldn’t recommend this particular trip for anyone with even minor mobility issues because of the cobbles and hilly streets and the time it takes to get to where you are wanting to go, which eats into the time you have to spend there and making sure you leave enough time to get back.
Would be good if driver had used the microphone more often also to tell passengers what’s happening etc. was only used once on the coach and it’s impossible to hear at the back without it and annoying if you have to keep asking the driver which must be annoying to him also.
At £99 per person it is a good value trip but just too long and uncomfortable and a bit stressful for us. Definitely NOT a trip for anyone needing to use walking sticks. Glad we did it and lesson learned and pleased to meet so many nice and enthusiastic 1940’s followers.

IT WAS LIKE THE VENGA BUS....... Both locations were fab even though the driver never really knew where he was going. YES IT WAS THE 1940'S HOWARTH EVENT.

Also drinking on the bus is disgusting. Not only where half of the elderly on the BUS ABSOLUTELY PISSED they decided on the way home they would have a sing song at the top of their lungs. If you did not join in you were told to start to enjoy yourself.

When the driver stopped at second services on way home I got up to get off the bus but could not move until the door was open and i was repeatedly kicked when I turned round a drunk elderly female was telling me to move as she needed a Pee.... Was she too drunk to use the toilet on the coach earlier. Hmmmm

Now to let you understand they had no manners what so ever as 2 younger members who were traveling with us both had seizures at different times of the day travelling home. One young gentleman fell of the steps boarding the bus with his seizure.

At no point in time did any of those elderly drunks.... Women Drunks take this in to considerable. It was like it was only their holiday.

As an owner of a coach company please get your act together.

I just thought imagine one of them being my mum I would be absolutely disgusted.

Great day out to North Berwick and Dunbar, lovely, clean, comfortable bus and the driver was great, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend Loch Lomond Travel.

Just recently started going on these trip me in my friend in there amazing i dont get out much in this is just what I needed drivers are very friendly as well as the actual bus load they all can't be any nicer looking forward to many more on a weekly basis so worth it would recommend to al young and old have booked up for legoland with my 2 grandkids in September in cant wait for this

We had a fabulous weekend away in the Yorkshire Steam Cream Tea weekend. Everything was perfect and the driver so helpful. We would definitely use Loch Lomond travel again

Had a great trip to Abba Voyage best experience for anyone to see. Coach spotless & comfortable driver Jim was amazing couldnt have been any better. We even got a tour of london before the show. What a great time we had on the coach with the other passengers great company from start to end.

I am writing about my weekend away at the Waterside Hotel - I booked as it was described as “party weekend” so was looking forward to an evening of dancing the entertainment finished at 9.30????? how is that a party weekend should have went into at least midnight. I went last year on your Christmas party night to the Cairngorms and that was fantastic food and entertainment so expected the same this weekend what a let down!
Once we stopped at Anstruther for our two hour break we then had 2 and three quarter hour journey to go to a hotel with no where to walk or go for a browse round Peterhead we were out in the sticks for the party night and we get there at 5.45 told dinner is 6.45 so rush to get showered and changed and after dinner (which was not good - the soup too thick the chilli con carne bland and the gammon on offer was just fatty thin bacon not gammon steaks) then into lounge area for entertainment which ends at 9.30! awful up next day and back down road - why spend 2.45 hrs just to travel to a hotel we never seen Peterhead or got to go round surely there could have been a hotel only an hour from Anstruther which could accommodate and we could get more time in Anstruther and St Andrews or time to explore town where hotel is in rather than a long journey for a hotel for a party night which ended at 9.30 this was false advertising no party night ends at 9.30.

Went on mystery bus trip, before we left the driver told us his long we would be driving for which had us all guessing where it could be, driver, Dillon was great and we had a relaxing trip taking in the scenery. The weather was great which helped when we got to our secret destination. We would definitely be taking another trip in the near future.

POOR MOBILITY. DO NOT GO ON THESE TOURS IF YOUR OVER 70 OR HAVE POOR MOBILITY.
Several tours offered but drivers are drivers only. They show no compassion or interest.
Recent trip to North Berwick driver parked at the top of a very steep hill. At least 5 with walkers and 5 with sticks and many over 70s had no choice to get into town was approximately 25 minute walk. Everyone hired several mini bus trips to get us all back to the bus. Whether it's the driver or the company THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN and spoiled the day out.

Your day trips are excellent value for money. I am in the middle of looking for another one but there are not many leaving from Falkirk. I would like to have gone to Belfast for the day but I can’t get to Bathgate for seven in the morning.

Been lots of trips with loch lomond travel. Great value for money, Amsterdam mini cruise was great. Wheatlands in York, great hotel. Staff and food ten out of ten. Drivers are friendly and very informative. Mystery trips can be a bit repetitive, but thats a chance you take. Highly recommend this company
