Very clean, and comfortable, coach.
Coach turned up bang on pick-up time. Seamless journey there and back.
3 and a half hours to explore was perfect 😊
I'll be keeping an eye out to go again next year 😄

Had a great trip on the Wild Atlantic trip.
The grand central hotel was fantastic great staff & great food couldn’t fault it..
Also big thanks to Brendan our driver who looked after us very well.. Would recommend this trip.

⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic value, brilliant drivers, and an amazing day out!If you’re looking for a brilliant, budget-friendly getaway, this Belfast day trip is a must! The entire journey was seamless. The coach was highly comfortable, and the ferry crossing gave us a lovely chance to stretch our legs and relax.What really made the trip, though, were the drivers. They were wonderful—absolute pros who kept us safe while keeping the atmosphere fun and upbeat the entire time. Once we arrived, we had a generous 4 hours of free time to enjoy Belfast at our own leisure before a smooth journey back. Getting returned safely home after such a fun-filled day made it perfect. A true bargain!

Well where do I start with this….WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS
I WILL ATTACHED ALL PICTURES OF OUR SITUATION AND THERE RESPONSE!!
We were meant to be in a bus to Luke Combs Murray Field and this is how it went….endless stress, hassle and phone calls back and fourth. This company should not be open and the manager Aaron has absolutely no clue.

Treated atrociously on Saturday 8th August. Booked my coach seat and ticket for the Edinburgh Tattoo last December. Was phoned twice to say that coach was running late. Was NOT informed that original coach was not fit for purpose so was replaced by a FlixBus with NO destination card in the window! Driver did not do a shout out so I got left behind. I phoned Loch Lomond Travel who told me to make my own way to Edinburgh!!!!!!Absolutely disgusting!!!Loch Lomond Travel are REFUSING to compensate me because they claim that they and the Driver phoned me numerous times but my phone log differs. I am a poor widow and am now £99 out of pocket.

The drivers with Acklams Holidays were horribly impatient with the elderly on board (almost all the passengers were pensioners).
The toilet was frequently without water or had not been emptied; causing distress amongst those with bladder issues.
The trip itself was incredibly interesting and well organised. However, the animosity between the drivers individually, and their antagonism towards your clients, made me seriously consider abandoning the tour, and purchasing flights from Dresden back to Britain.
I witnessed the co-driver gesture rudely to other road users; this was unacceptable behaviour.
I did not feel safe or confident when the co-driver was driving.
I will not book with Loch Lomond Travel again if Acklams is involved. They treated us like schoolchildren, with barely concealed contempt and contradictory information.
On the last leg of the trip from Dresden to Rotterdam, there was a massive spider crack on the windshield, apparently caused by the co-driver's head while the primary driver was parking.

The cruise went very well however Loch Lomond Travel's input was a disaster. The transfer bus arrangements were a disaster. Too many subcontracted bus operators involved and no passenger details supplied. No allocated seats as promised. Big failure by them. Taking too many tours on and can't cope.

After several really good bus trips over the past couple of years my sister and I were looking forward to the hot air balloon festival in Strathaven on the 30th of August. Unfortunately, my sister has just been hospitalised with pneumonia, pleurisy and kidney problems.
I therefore emailed LLT to advise them we weren’t able to make this trip. I got an email back asking to phone them.
A nippy lady said “ so you want to cancel” yes I apologised. “ Can you give the tickets to someone else? There will be a £10 admin charge for change of name, but it will have to be done today” no I replied. “Do you want to book an alternative outing? It will have to be done today and there will be a £10 admin charge.” no I said. In the circumstances, can I get a credit or a refund, preferably? “ no” said the nippy lady -“ it’s in the terms and conditions”. I know that I said, but these are extenuating circumstances . “ do you not have travel insurance” nope “ so you want to cancel “she said. I suppose so I sighed - saying goodbye to my £50. Before I put the phone down there was a cancellation invoice in my inbox!! (For pensioners of 79 and 87 yrs of age this is quite a blow).
I am so disappointed with this company now after recommending them to my friends who have enjoyed trips with them. I have read another review by someone who also had to cancel for a medical reason and was given the same short shrift. So shame on you and goodbye LLT.

Disappointed: 12hr round bus trip for 5ths of visits. Last stopped was missed out in favour for a park at the side of the road with nothing to see or do so this stop was purely the drivers requirement. Won’t be using again for day trips as it’s not value for money

Driver and guide were great. Hotel was definitely not 4 star as advertised but was clean and comfortable enough. 3 star. The trip was Good value for money but could do with a few tweaks to improve the overall experience. Enjoyable and would recommend

Hi just need to how enjoyable this day trip was. Coach was comfortable and toilet was clean . Also air con was very welcome . Coach arrived on time for pick up and driver was very pleasant and helpful . Return drive was also on time at arrival back to Glasgow. Which was great as I had a tranfere to catch . Will defo book again for another trip .

Just back from PLouise & Trafford Centre trip, great experience! Hotel was basic but for one night dinner bed & breakfast you can’t complain for £99 & there was entertainment in the bar…bus driver was great…very friendly & helpful…overall a brilliant experience & will definitely try another!

Great trip with 2 very good drivers, Venus were also good, hotel was excellent, very clean throughout with good food and friendly staff
Overall very happy with the whole trip and already looking forward to booking my next trip with Loch Lomond Travel

Booked two mystery trips on two consecutive days to end up going to the very same places two days in a row! I wasn’t the only ones on the bus to experience it either. Total waste of my time and money!
A bit more better planning wouldn’t go amiss LLT! It’s certainly put me booking anymore. Emailed my disappointment to LLT and received a long winded AI response!

It was not a Loch Lomond travel coach but the driver was excellent and so helpful. The lavender fields were beautiful and the time spent in Culross was lovely. The weather did help but both stops were worth the trip.
The driver got us all home on time after having to wait for 2 stragglers.

Bus was over an hour late, pick up was suppose to be at 9am however did not arrive until after 10 am. Several people had phoned company and they kept saying it was on its way. Eventually the driver arrived and we believe it was due to the fact they did not originally have a driver for the bus and the driver we had stepped on on his day off. I have another trip booked with this company in September so I am reserving my overall judgement until then and will give them the benefit of doubt that this incident was just a slip up. As I had generally read good past reviews

Booked online for a mystery Bus Tour with Loch Lomond Travel. It was amazing! Expertly guided by our driver Mark we were taken to 2 locations and given ample time to explore. The whole family can't wait to go again!

same mystery trip as l done end of may.. same places.. same hotel .clearly they have no imagination or cant be bothered to check out other places. The driver was tight lipped about day trips as Loch Lomand want to keep the mystery but spoil your break as they dont even let you know even on the day .so you cant make the choice weather you want to go on that day trip or check out somewhere else..No point complaining to the driver as they are only doing what they are told and Loch Lomand just dont listen as they dont even reply to customer complains.. so lots of scope for improvement

The trip itself was great, thoroughly enjoyed. However, the bus that was hired did not meet our expectations, when it arrived late, it was almost full. No-one sat at allotted seats, so my friend and I were at the back sitting on a wheel. The journey left us both feeling sick, due to the heat on the bus, air conditioning did not appear to be working & I asked the driver if the rooflights could be opened but they couldn't. The driver was not the most communicative leaving the bus without letting us know what time to be back when we reached Falkirk.

i went on a day trip with Lochlomond travel . to pittanweam . the bus was a half hour late no real reason given for this . the driver never said anything about the trip when all passengers were on board and only information was when we were to be back on the bus, bus was comfortable , wi -fi charger didn,t work i heard so much about friendly , helpful drivers . the location was a great day out , and the above reasons would not put me off booking again .
