The service was horrible
The service was horrible. Mainly in Rome. We had to walk with laguages about 15 min to the place we should get a car, and then to wait for a car half an hour.

We booked a car weeks in advance and…
We booked a car weeks in advance and upon the day of collection we arrived at the local office and was told that there is no automatic vehicles available. Although that was one of our specifications on booking. After a very rude couple of minutes we were told that they have a van that we can use. This was super ridicules considering that we were driving down to Salerno and specifically booked a smaller car for the road conditions. We ended up accepting the manual car and reluctantly drove off. Upon returning the car in Salerno we had to double park as there was no parking to return the car. This caused a massive traffic jam and I then reverted to park the car around the block . The lady that accepted the car did not assist in this matter at all and just stood inside the office looking at me struggling to return the car. I then was told that I had to fill-up the car and that I must take the car to a filling station. It was too late and had to catch a ferry and then was told I need to pay the ridicules amount of 45 Euro as a surcharge to fill the car with fuel. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a car rental company and will never use them again and will make sure that this message reach and help other people in deciding on a rental company to use. Locauto certainly has a lot of work to do on how to handle tourists visiting Italy.

Unfit car allocated, No support from the Staff
I was provided with an unfit car which kept stalling on the autostrada leaving me under extreame risk of an accident. There was no support from Locauto team, and i was simply asked to either continue with the same car or cancel my rental agreement with them. Highly unprofessional behaviour except for the team in Milan Malpensa airport (they were actually concerned for us)

Avevo contratto no scoring . Già dal inizio non era quello che mi ha promesso il ragazzo che mi ha contattato per noleggio . Loro dicono che non è colpa loro perché un broker esterno . Decido comunque di noleggiare . Dopo qualche mese aumenta prezzo e in Jeep Avenger (accessoriato a zero)mi tocca pagare 900 euro . Anche no ! La

L'esperienza di noleggio è andata bene, indicazioni chiare, la macchina aveva una spia accesa che non ci era stata segnalata e che si è accesa dopo pochi minuti di viaggio (niente di grave), per il resto tutto ok.

The renting process was done through…
The renting process was done through Booking com. And then when picking up the car, it was really fast, just 4-5 minutes, and then you can take it. The car was in a good condition, and return and leaving the keys was also fast and smooth. Overall very well organized. Would recommend for sure.
