I have had Lobster for many years and…

I have had Lobster for many years and it used to be a lot better - I will now be getting rid of it. I spend time overseas and clearly Lobster dont like it. The signal has dropped to 2G and I can no longer use it whilst moving around - even though it is unlimited usage.

Package paid but never activated, unjustified withdrawals

I subscribed to a package at Lobster with a promotional offer of €6.50 for the first three months, payment made without any problem.

I received the SIM card, but activation is impossible: the activation code is indicated as non-existent.

Even worse, two withdrawals of €12.99 were made on the same day, while the package was never active.

Or €25.98 deducted in ermo, without service rendered.

Despite several emails sent to customer service, no response to date.

Very frustrating situation: money debited, line unuseable, support absent.

I am still waiting for the activation of the SIM and the refund of the amounts unduly deducted.

Very disappointing experience, I do not recommend.

Hi I have waited more than 48 hours with the SIM inserted in my phone it's still not processed...it's frustrating to wait for so long for a new SIM to be activated.

Too much time wasted fixing issues your…

Too much time wasted fixing issues your team can’t resolve. The result? No roaming data when you travel which becomes a HUGE inconvenience. So for the past 6 months, I pay for GB from Giffgaff when abroad whilst also paying you for that thing you say you can do....

Great price - ok service

The price is definitely 5* - cannot beat the value. But the website/app are terrible and their customer service is really poor - they’re borderline rude on the phone (probably not all the staffs fault, they just seem understaffed).

If they sort that the website/ customer service out, they could be 5*

Lobster Fibre is Awful

Our Mobile Service is great, but don't bother signing up for Fibre. The speeds are dreadful, not as promised for high speed service. And the customer support is equally bad. We have asked for a service call since December 16th and we are ignored. We have received countless requests to send them manual speed tests which contuine to prove the speed is awful...and the 1 time Madrid technical support called us we were required to speak in Spanish. His response to us on December 29th was that he would monitor the box for 48 hours. Still no other replies or improvement.

I am sorry to leave a scathing review…

I am sorry to leave a scathing review but I am not getting ANY support from Lobster. I have emailed them several times and no response and now I see the account has been locked. The customer service seems to be failing badly. Not close to what I expected. Huge disappointment since I really believed this company will do better. Maybe stay away and look at alternatives.

Promised that the matter will be looked into, but have not heard from LOBSTER at all to date.

Now heard from them and yet again, a total disaster in terms of support. Stay away.

Four weeks and 2 days without an…

Four weeks and 2 days without an internet connection. After numerous emails that are ignored. Daily calls to customer services, sometimes several in one day; I'm still without the service! Lobster are in breach of my contract. They say you can't stop your contract until the 12 months are up or you are peniliced ,but, they can!!
Absolutely disgusting. Sitting in my home day after day waiting for confirmation and getting nothing. Three times the technicians haven't turned up and once without notification. Between Lobster and masmovil they have become a joke.
Will not be staying with Lobster, I'm just got smacked!

Had the morning off work as the automated message said they was coming between the hours of 11.15 and 2.15. Another message was sent at 11.45 to say the technician is on his way to my house!! No one has arrived, yet again.
They have one hour to get here. Seems lobster enjoys breaching their contract .

Dissapointint customer service

Terrible loyalty for long time customer.

If you would like to be completely ignored on multiple emails when they said they would help with something, this is the provider for you!

DO NOT GET A CONTRACT HERE!

The SIM card does not work abroad. (IN EUROPE)
Despite contacting customer support 15 times, the issue is still not resolved after ONE MONTH. I have wasted an excessive amount of time and energy, and so far no solution has been provided.

I have not even been offered a refund. Instead, I was told that I had “used” the SIM card because the system showed some mobile data usage. This is misleading and unacceptable. The only data used was caused by my repeated attempts to get the SIM card to function. It would occasionally connect for a few seconds and then stop working again.

To make matters worse, my formal complaint email in which I explicitly requested a refund has been completely ignored. :)

Do you seriously believe anyone would call customer support 15 times, each time waiting around 20 minutes on hold and then spending another 10–20 minutes in the call, just for fun?

Because of your faulty service, I have been unreachable. I cannot access my bank due to authentication issues, I am not reachable for work, and this situation has caused serious personal and professional problems. This is not a minor inconvenience — it is a serious failure of service.

I expect this issue to be taken seriously and resolved immediately, including a full refund and a proper explanation.

Did not meet expectations

Worst customer service I have had from any company in Spain in more than 20 years.
The modus operandi seems to be ignore you for weeks in the hope you´ll go away quietly, or send you copy paste answers without addressing the issue that you have. (or even reading what you are explaining in your email)
I wish I had read the latest reviews and shopped around a bit before coming to this company for roaming while overseas.
Have been going back and forth for nearly 2 months now and I'm bored of it, hence this review.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Replies by email border on rude. There is no apology. They need to take their customer service back to the basics and look after their customers, they are what pays the wages

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. AVOID.
They promise “fast internet,” but what you get is a loading screen and a headache. I’ve called them more times than I want to admit, and every time they say someone will call back or “send a technician.” No one ever does.

The internet doesn’t work, the customer service doesn’t work, and honestly the whole company feels like it doesn’t work.
Save yourself the misery and avoid them.

Multiple reasons to avoid this Fibre &…

Multiple reasons to avoid this Fibre & Broadband company:

1. I am waiting 6 months now for transaction receipts to be extracted and made available to me (their receipt function on website and app does not work). Escalated multiple times. Avg response time: 2 months
2. Does not work in far east (and I'm not sure where else) and you will be left high & dry (unless you have e-SIm with another company, as happened to me in Phillipines)
3. Customer Service awful - long waits, sometimes they hang up mid call, rarely do you make progress

Use a proper mobile & fibre company instead.

Lobster Fibre Service

My wife and I have used Lobster as our mobile provider for several years. We travel often so love the ability to park our accounts as we need to.
We recently decided to look into getting Fibre internet service. I contacted Lobster at 11 am on a Friday, digitally signed a contract at 11:05. At 14:00 a technician arrived at our place to do a completely new installation. By 15:30 we were up and running. Probably not typical for Lobster to provide this speed of service provision but we are blown away by their attention. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

a quick resolution. However the company still owe me two hundred euros. The receipts issue has been resolved but I am still waiting to hear from accounts.

I ordered Fibre Internet 10 days ago

I ordered Fibre Internet 10 days ago, but unfortunately Lobster don't have their own technicians, but rely on independent contractors to complete the installation. The problem with this is that in my local area, these installers are dishonest, unprofessional liars. The first guy yelled via text that he would be at my apartment in 20 minutes. He never showed up, and completely blanked attempts to contact him. 5 Hours later when I was out of home a completely different guy contacted me saying he was at the property (with no notice). I then rushed home to meet him, where he messed around for half an hour, drank the beer I offered him, and then left without completing the installation, promising to return this week. He has ignored all attempts to contact him as well. I'm now in limbo waiting for these clowns to come back and complete what should be a simple task, and therefore have decided to cancel as I don't want to have to deal with them again. Note to Lobster: Vet who you contract your installation work to.

Lobster don't reply to requests for help

Whilst on holiday in Singapore I cannot receive any calls or SMS. I have plenty of credit on my account. I've asked Lobster for help on 2 occasions but they haven't replied.
