So glad they called me again about a month after an initial contact during which their rate wasn't significantly better than what I already had. This time, the offer made it worth going through the process and absorbing the reasonable closing costs. I was getting a bit nervous about getting the loan closed within the 30-day rate lock period -- thank goodness I had my paperwork in order (insurance statements, proofs of income sources, tax returns, family trust documents, etc.) and we did close a few days short of the deadline.

Great service, very comparative rates/terms and they move at lightning speed which is why they got our business.

I am an excellent credit, long term employment, and excellent income client. I have responded immediately to any request for information and or documentation from Loan flight when this started nearly 2 months ago.

My experience was less than desirable due to email with a question being ignored, not days but weeks of zero movement on the loan, and multiple mistakes being made with documentation in trying to close the loan.

The people I worked with seemed knowledgeable and were polite. I'm thinking due to amount of volume of business Loan flight has at the moment items are getting left on floor causing multiple problems.
One more thing... it doesn't appear that the assembly line approach is effective.

LoanFlight did an excellent job moving through the process quickly. Closing was fast and easy, and signing able to be done at home.

Two drivers behind not giving 5 stars:
One missing document from the closing package required it be sent to me for printing and inclusion - recommend having a printer on hand for these types of issues.

There was one fee that from what I understand has a zero tolerance and cannot change from the Loan Estimate to the closing disclosure. When we asked about it, LoanFlight staff would not provide any valid justification or point to governing regulations suggesting the fee could change. LoanFlight did suggest an alternate solution to change another fee to ensure they would still get paid for their issue, which I found to be unacceptable at best.

Other than this, very happy with the rest of the process overall.

We have yet to close, but so far I would give the process 5 stars no problem. The loan officer and team is very responsive and if you do your part in providing the proper documentation then the process flows very smoothly.

I don't think I would work with loan flight again. Compared to other mortgages I've obtained, this process took close to a month maybe over for something that should take only a few days. Seems like it would drag on and on with the occasional email of something else they wanted. When you were required to submit a doc there's all sort of warnings about getting it done within a day or the loan gets cancelled....when the ball is in loan flights court there's no visibility and they don't want you to email their rep to see where things are in process.

This is my second time using LoanFlight. They not only had the best rates at the lowest cost, but also had amazing service. I've recommended them friends who have had the same experience.

The rating would have been excellent if Loanflight had no changed the terms of the loan. We had agreed on a rate with no points, completed all the documents within one hour only to get a message the next day to check the revised loan. Suddenly, there was a charge of almost $ 800 for points.
Remember, LoanFlight prides itself for not charging fees or points. We called and were told that the rates had changed. Checking with other lenders we had contacted, we could not confirm this. In addition, another lender had the same rate as the previous day but actually had considerable increased the lender credit. This does not suggest a rate increase across the lending industry.
We are extremely disappointed about this last second shady maneuver to get a few more dollars out of us. We will probably cancel the whole loan application.
