International Business Transfers
We have been experience ongoing issues with international transfers and issues with the App for the last month causing critical issues in our business with no workarounds made available. While they eventually admitted they were experiencing IT issues, no updates or resolution has been given. Very poor customer service. I would change banks if it wasn't a hassle to do so.

Sets the benchmark for incompetence
My tiny charity has been a customer of Lloyds for many years. Nine months ago we started receiving demands for information to support their anti money laundering drive. Fair enough but each demand came with a threat to close the account. Then the demands were repeated. They'd admit to having received the information but demand it again under the pretence that as I'd already submitted it, it's probably outdated (!?). I have submitted each set of information twice and been told by three reps that no further demands would be made. Then today I get another demand for information already supplied twice, with a two day deadline before account closure!
There is no way to speak to a person either on the phone or by Email. You ring the number provided and they ask you to press the number on your letter or Email, and there is no number provided in their communication. I have also had erroneous return addresses printed on documentation, incorrect case numbers, and demands with threats for information but the "required information" field is blank!
I have contacted the ombudsman and our solicitor will be pressing for compensation for harassment and maladministration. I have had to open an account with Virgin (took less than an hour) to safeguard my charity.
Lloyds failed to address my complaint, using the excuse that they were inundated with complaints. I can understand this not only because they are incompetent, but because before they changed their phone options so that you couldn't get through, my accountant and I managed to speak to one of the poor customer service ladies and she sounded like she was crying when she answered the phone. Must be an awful place to work.
