I had a really disappointing experience with LivinFrance. I paid all the required fees expecting clear information and proper support throughout my process, but that wasn't what I received.

When it came to my housing situation and the French legal process, I wasn't given the guidance I needed. Important information was only sent through the same email system that was also used for commercial and promotional emails, so there was no clear distinction between marketing messages and information that required immediate action. I believe important legal and housing-related updates should have been communicated much more clearly.

Because of this lack of communication, I am now dealing with consequences that could have been avoided if the process had been explained properly from the beginning. I had other agents who helped me with different parts of my move, but this specific situation was LivinFrance's responsibility, and I don't think they provided the level of support and commitment that I paid for. I hope future students receive clearer communication so they don't end up in the same situation.

My experience with this agency was far from smooth. As they act as a middleman between the tenant and the owner, the negotiation process was lengthy and lacked clarity. I was repeatedly asked for additional documents after the initial submission, which made the application process feel unorganized. Given the high service fees, I expected a much more streamlined experience. Unfortunately, the level of service provided did not feel worth the price.

so first of all to clarify I found my Apartment through live in france and I have to say it was quite easy but liv in france makes some false claims which is not fair. One of their claims is you don’t need a guarantor when searching with liv in france. This is simply not true later on they will ask for a guarantor because the landlord wants a second guarantor as well 😂😂😂 this is a straight up lie they don’t need a second one they need the first one because liv in france doesn’t Act as an guarantor at all. Then you should know that liv in france does nothing except beeing an intermediar when searching for an apartment and they want huge fees for simply doing nothing. You can find the same apartments for the same price just at the landlords Webseite or any other website. So to sum everything up liv in France does nothing special or offers more service or anything like that compared to free websites where you can find an accommodation as well. They just make false claims and charge you huge fees but still I found my apartment there so it still works and is not a scam but you should know they offer nothing special or are easier than other sites to look.

Simon contacted me via Whatsapp and responded very quickly to my messages, helped me immediately when I had questions, was friendly and always available. Communicating with him was very easy and I didn't encounter any problems at all!

This was actually my second trying to rent an accomadation in liveinfrance.First one was not accepted bcs I did not have visa.But in those time liveinfrance did not support me enough but this time I rent accomadation.I got visa and everything and Simon really helped me.I am glad him.

I didnt have any questions, the person helping sent a message explaining everything i needed to know.
There was something i didnt like though, that on the website it does not specify from before that i have to get my own housing insurrance. I would've preferred this to be included in the booking price, or at least let me know before i book it. Also on the website it does not specify the location's address from what I've seen.

The personal assistance via WhatsApp was great and very helpful. Simon was very ambitious that I find a good accomodation.
