Lockdown Order
I ordered some Raspberry Archers for my Mum during lockdown. As Liqroo were really busy, the order was significantly delayed. I enquired about the order on the on-line live chat and was happy with the response. The order arrived a few days later. I have since ordered the same item again. This time it arrived much quicker. I think Liqroo are a reliable company, but have had an overwhelming situation to deal with. I would order from them again🙂

I had an outstanding early lockdown order for 1.5L Standard Vodka.
It just arrived on 30tb June2020 late by a number of weeks.

Order placed on 30th March and although we have been through some troubled times, the balance of my order has not yet been delivered, and is now 2nd June. I have asked for a refund but none forthcoming nor the balance of my order. I am out of pocket and out of luck with this company which I shall never use again, nor recommend.
Liqroo took back the wrong items and kept our money
Liqroo delivered our order with several unwanted substitutions, back in April. Having tried for weeks to contact Liqroo to come collect the substitutions and refund us our money, we finally managed to arrange for someone to collect the items on 15 May. We never received a refund. We contacted Liqroo again on the 29th of May to ask where the refund was. Liqroo took my bank details and promised to refund the money. We have not yet received a refund. I've tried again to contact Liqroo to ask them for a refund but have not had a response. We now have to go through the hassle of the chargeback procedure with the bank.

The company and service looks good on paper, but in reality it is a sham! I have spent a significant amount of money through Liqroo only to not receive items that i have ordered. Tried to order items for my colleagues who have worked extremely hard during the Covid Pandemic. I have attempted to request refunds on many occasions. Speak on "chat" to be left waiting three hours and have lost track of how many emails i have sent! Completely ridiculous. Please do not waste your money nor effort on these.
Promising business rough round the edges
I think the main source of negative reviews here is down to the fact that this is clearly a very small family-run firm that appears to be bigger than it is at first glance. I have ordered twice and received pretty good service both times, the first time an item was not in stock and I got a call with substitute options which was fine. Inside the m25 they seem to be able to do what they say on the tin, although I think things could be improved without the really bad online chat system which is clearly unstaffed and the fact that the phone is not answered quite often. Basically they need more staff to fulfil the promise of what looks like a larger operation than it actually is.
Missing products, no refund, and no replies to emails
I ordered a bottle of whiskey and a case of beer. Only the whiskey was delivered, I spoke to the driver at the time and he phoned someone, presumably a manager, and he then told me they were out of stock and I would be refunded. Not only has this not happened, but I haven't had a single reply to any of my emails asking why. I've sent approximately 5 emails and had absolutely zero communication from them back aside from an automated email asking for my review. So here it is. Honestly disgustingly unprofessional behaviour, and you've essentially stolen my money.

I do live in Greater London which may have an impact but I have ordered a few times with this company, all through lock-down, and all orders came quicker than expected, delivery drivers all polite and friendly, prices reasonable unlike others hiking up their prices. Couldn't be happier with the service and will continue to use them

Made an order on 1st April as a gift for a colleague. Two bottles of red wine and a bottle of Disaronno.
Delivery was made at 8pm on 7th April in a box with no label. delivered two wines, a red and a white, both not what i ordered and no Disaronna.
Waited 2 days to see if anything else arrived
Complained via email on 9th April - no response
Chased on 15th April - no response
Waited 3 hours to get through to their webchat where they asked me to send my complaint to a refunds email address instead of the contact email address.
Sent to Refunds on 15th April - no response
Chased on webchat on 20th April which was only accepting messages now - no response.
Chased by email on 20th April - no response
Sent messages on facebook messenger on 20th, 21st and 22nd April - no response.
I still have not received the items I ordered and was hugely overcharged for what was delivered - still haven't received a response.
I have requested a refund through Amex.
This is a tiny company pretending to be a big company, whoever is in charge of fulfilling orders either can't read or simply has no idea what they are doing. Regardless of the COVID situation, this company is horrendous!
If you can't fulfil orders then state that on your website, communication has been pathetic!

Do not use this firm, they are simply dreadful, I am still waiting for a refund from the beginning of April, no communication, no action, they are a joke.
Wow...how could anyone get it THAT wrong!
Firstly I must state this is my first order, but will certainly be my last!!!
Whilst the customer care agents on Liqroo chat have been helpful and polite, the service offered by Liqroo is atrocious. I placed my order on the 21st of March, just as lockdown was being initiated so fully appreciate there would be some challenges and that we would not receive "next day delivery". On the 31st of March I used their online contact form to request an update. On the 2nd of April I used their online chat to again try get an update. On the 5th of April our order was part delivered, the driver said the remainder would likely be with us the next day, and that someone would be in touch. On the 6th April I contacted the chat agent again, just to make sure they knew of the short delivery as there was no paperwork with the delivery. So we waited again, as they said they still had high volumes of orders. I next followed up on the chat on the 29th of April, again to be told they were aware and working on it. On the 18th of May, I tried again to get an update. As I said, the chat team are very polite and are trying to help but I now realise Liqroo is just an agent (the concept set up in US and likely franchised, as delivery texts come from a +1 mobile number), who farms out orders to local retailers and stores to fulfill at their agreed prices. Basically, none of the stores using their service had stock of what I had ordered. So...end of the story...today 20th of May (bear in mind we ordered on 21st of March) we took delivery of the missing items. Well...some of them! They didn't have enough white wine so decided to just fulfill the last 2 bottles with reds. ??? I only ordered a case of 6x white wines....something you could pick up at your local Co-op or Tesco. Nothing difficult...nothing extravagant... still it took almost 10 weeks to deliver.
Liqroo will not be receiving my custom again anytime soon. Sorry guys...complete fail as far as this customer is concerned. WAY too much effort...rather go get it myself.

I ordered online just as covid 19 hit. a deal 6 bottles £25. I received 4 only and am still waiting over a month later for the other 2. So i paid £25 for 4 it appears. I have online chatted, and rang Getting nowhere fast ! It seems to be a con.
