Dear Customer

In reference to your complaint and comments about our pathetic response I would, as the CEO of Immotion, like to point out several facts.

Immotion is a well respected producer of immersive VR experiences. Until the pandemic our main business was the creation of immersive theatre experiences working with partners such as Merlin, and MGM on large location based entertainment solutions. When the pandemic hit and our locations were closed we were facing a bleak time ahead. Using the resources at our disposal along with a team of highly motivated people we took the initiative to create a product people could enjoy at home. Every effort has been taken to ensure the product works on as many handsets as possible, but as with any emerging technology there will be certain handsets that sadly do not have the right software or processing power. There will also be occasions when Android, a Google operating system over which we have no influence, will decide to instigate a software upgrade. As a direct consequence of these upgrades certain apps will no longer work, or indeed appear in the store. I am not too sure how we can be blamed directly for Google software updates.

In regard to your personal devices our team has checked both devices and can confirm the app and software will work on your Samsung S9. Our support team would happily take the time to get this working for you, but by the tone of your complaint I think this ship has sailed.

At no stage have we or would we suggest you buy a new phone. We do suggest other devices within the household are tried as often children get parental hand-me-downs and therefore these are older phones by default.

Dpd were asked at our expense to collect your goods, we will look into why they did not collect and respond directly to you on Monday. We have always found Dpd to be extremely reliable.

It is normal practice with our Company as with many companies to request goods to be returned prior to a refund being issued. At no point have we said we will not issue a full refund.

You are perfectly within yourself rights to contact whoever you may wish in regard to our product and services. All I would ask is that you put your complaints into context. Our team have, against the toughest of conditions, worked tirelessly to deliver a product customers can enjoy. We have many satisfied customers who have enjoyed Let’s Explore Oceans, and have been thrilled Swimming with Humpback Whales, and Diving with Sharks in VR. Both these movies as with lots of content on the product have been created exclusively by our own teams delivering World firsts in immersive learning.

I am truly sorry our efforts don’t meet your standards. Over the last six months our entire team has never worked so hard, not only to protect their jobs and livelihoods but to create something unique. We are proud of what we’ve achieved, although as they say; “you cannot please all the people all the time”. A full refund has been issued today.

Dear Customer

Firstly let me assure you this is NOT a scam.

Your claim that no devices are compatible with this product, and that the only reviews are from family and staff is categorically wrong.

In each and every pack there is a Quick Start Guide. This guide walks the user through the process of loading and starting the app and experiences. Furthermore there are a number of YouTube videos showing the user how to get started as well as help videos. We also have a 24/7 dedicated customer support team.

The Let’s explore Oceans app has been approved by both Apple and Android, both these facts can be checked easily by visiting their stores.

Our team has worked tirelessly over the last six months to create this product, filming, and creating some amazing pieces of unique content for consumers to enjoy. We have lots of very satisfied customers, who for the avoidance of doubt are not employees or family.

We are sorry you had an issue with the video playback quality. We have filmed some amazing experiences, in many instances delivering a world first. No one has ever filmed humpback whales and their calves in VR before. We had to find a cameraman capable of holding his breath for over four minutes to achieve this footage, allowing users of the Let's Explore product the opportunity to experience their majestic presence in VR. No one has ever filmed humpback whales and their calves in VR before. It is fantastic to hear we could put a smile on someone`s face this Christmas considering what difficult year we just had.
