For an inexpensive nest of tables the "corona pine" is perfect and look the part. They are self-assemble and while it wasn't difficult to follow the instructions I did have to use a drill to get the screws in and even then they didn't fully connect so tables feel slightly shaky but I won't be sitting on them so they suit me fine for the price paid.
We order a King Ottoman bed. Delivery was exactly when they estimated on order. Quality is great and assembly was easy to follow.
My experience was seamless. I was notified about the progress of my package and it came faster than expected. Easy to reach tracking through their email. I have yet to construct my item but the reviews for it were what lead me to purchase.

Absolutely horrific customer service:
We ordered our order originally on 9th October 2025. Paid in full at the time of order. Months went by and we received no correspondence on our order.
One of the customer service employees, Tyler Jacobs, eventually got back to us and told us the order was marked as partially delivered.
No correspondence to us from Laura James or the Courier, no contact to sign for it either.
Tyler then came back to us and said the problem was actually that the order got damaged in transit and would be resent.
We finally received our order on the 16th of February 2026. 4 months and 1 week later, this after being told we would have our order within 7-14 working days.
When we received the order there were two items missing, a bedside locker (which Tyler admitted was his error in forgetting to add to the order) and a second box of a blanket box.
Tyler was suddenly able to send both items with a two day delivery window, this after waiting months originally.
We received the items and hired a handyman to assemble them for us. €170 and he was unable to complete the bedside locker for us as there were parts missing, it was severely damaged and was quite frankly unusable. We sent all of these pictures and the handyman invoice back to Tyler and his response was to ask us to look at the manual and send the parts we were missing. There was also parts missing from the blanket box. So essentially we were to keep the broken items and just add in the missing parts, even though they were returns that were severely damaged.
After contacting Tyler, we said to him it was unacceptable to get replacement parts and his answer was “can you get a skip to dispose of the items”. I simply said no I will not get a skip, someone can collect it and Tyler responded quite aggressively and said “I will not speak to you if you are trying to argue so I’ll not continue this call, call me back when you feel like being helpful and positive”. Atrocious customer service, and all of the above can be corroborated via phone call records as well as email threads and photos we have sent.
We are still waiting for a manager to contact us. No way to threat any human being, never mind a valued customer, have bought from Laura James before but after this, never again.

Can’t fault Laurajamesfuniture. Deliveries were on time. Every thing was perfect only thing was I thought the coffee table was a bit bigger than it was. The table still looks well in sitting room.
I ordered a side table and it was delivered on time. Unfortunately the item had some issues (finish issue) and I reported it to the company. I received an apology straight away and was sent a replacement with a matter of days. I was given constant updates on the ETA of the replacement and it arrived without any issue. I got a phone call follow up to check if it had been delivered and all ok. Over all great customer service and follow up, I could not fault the company. I would order again no problem.

Laura James is literally Temu for furniture, but worse because the customer services make it even worse.
Ordered 3 bar stools from them for £90 each. The pieces don't fit together properly, they are cheap awful quality with sharp edges. The "whitewash" paint is literally just weird matt white paint that has been smudged into cracks in the cheap wood. They are way taller than a normal bar stool and don't fit under a normal height kitchen island (with your legs). They wobble, and are seriously uncomfortable.
Customer services are even worse. I called them to say that I'd opened and assembled the first one and that it didn't meet my expectations and I wanted a refund. They told me I'd have to open all 3 of the boxes and take photos or videos of all of the defective products before they could decide if I deserved a refund. I said if I opened the other 2 boxes and they weren't damaged, I wouldn't be entitled to a refund at all on their logic. She actually laughed and said yes. I told her I wanted to send them both back in the boxes and she said I would have to pay for that.
The quality - honestly - is worse than items I've bought on Temu. Please please please do not shop at this terrible online retailer. It says "Designed in England" but actually, all of the products are made in Vietnam, and it shows.
Lovely blanket/storage box. Fast delivery too.
Do not buy any furniture from here. If you get a chair out of the box to see it then you cannot return. As an online furniture option it’s no good as you cannot test comfort or style before committing to the price. Really poor choice for an online furniture company.
