Brilliant door and genuinely great service from Lee. He gave me a call about 30 minutes before arriving, which was really helpful. When he got here, he didn’t just drop the door off—he helped carry it through into my garden and took the time to walk me through all the bits and pieces, even pointing out the key support features. That’s proper customer service.

The door is now fitted and feels incredibly solid—honestly, even Eddie Hall wouldn’t get through it! With crime on the rise these days, I’d definitely recommend a Latham’s security door. It actually reminds me of those old Army armoury doors—built like a tank and feels completely impenetrable!!

I found my purchase very pleasnt they always got back to you promptly they have a very good selection of doors. I needed a slightly smaller size that they stocked, the delivery was prompt and they kept you informed, the door came well wrapped and pelleted, I would recommend latham steel doors. Terry

I ordered a bespoke double security door, delivery was several weeks which was fine. Payment was taken all good.
Delivery, I was informed that the door would leave the factory on the wednesday, be with me via courier on the Friday/Monday 23/3.
Arrival was on the 24th by the most unhelpfull lazy courier driver i have eve met., builders arrives on 27/3 to fit the door to find only ! part had been delivered. Builder contacted the Lathams and so did I, customer services were rude and unhelpful trying to tell me the door had been delivered, i suggested i had paid by card and would be contacting the card company to get my money back as goods ordered had not been delivered, Customer services lady said fine we will collect the 1 door, but could not say if the builders inconvinece and time wasted would be covered. She was told that i was not in to to facilitae any loading or unloading on 30 or 31/3 Then on Monday 30/3 delivery was attemted buy the same incompetent clown who delivered the first door, he eas unable to unload with the pump truck so didnt deliver. i then had a conversation with the same woman from customer services who said it was my responsability to unload it as it was a large pallet and i should have been informed of thai at point of purchase, this was after she on 27/3 that there `T.C's were curbside delivery. (she lied) Head of cust services rang as it had now been escilated, he sounded a genuine factual guy who promised the earth saying i had been misled and treatred very poorly. He promissed that on WEd AM two employees from Latham doors would drive from birmingham to chester, collect the door from the courier and del to the property around 11 am. That morning he called to say the men had been delayed and it would be there about 1 pm, fine. The door duly arrived not by a lathams van or two members their staff but by a subcontracted delivery driver on a sub 3.5 t van with curtain sides and tail lift along with a similar pump truck that the idiot courrier who had tried to deliver. this on competent guy unloaded without any issue only 14 days and a lot of phone calls from me, wasted time buy the builder and multiple lies from the customer services staff and LATHAM SECURITY DOORS. my builder was compensated £250 for his time, I was not.

Good quality door and arrived well packaged with everything that it should have. Delivery driver Lee was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

I’d give a big fat zero if the option was available. Going to 5 years and two LATHAM doors on and still these doors are rusting. Even installers complain about these doors. A total headache from delivery to install. Made in China interior not coated how on earth can this comply with building regulation or even British standards. My experience with Lathams Steel doors has been a nightmare specially when the company could not care less once they have your money

A real shame as the product is fantastic - but cannot say that about the service. Door arrived - all good. Installed with ease - but we were then asked to provide 3 more keys. Our locksmith could not cut the keys - a standard key, but just could not get them to work - apparently down to the blanks being used. So we turned back to Lathems to ask for 3 more keys or if unable, provide some blanks. Now, keeping in mind they supply the lock as part of the price, we have in effect paid for it. At no point does it mention that you cannot cut extra keys. The worst thing is the solution they provided was for us to buy a new lock. And then the guy we were dealing with just stopped responding. Good companies value customers and provide solutions. For example they could have asked us to send them a key, or just send us 3 blanks. Or even use locks where customers could have additional keys cut. This has come up before, confirmed with a quick internet search. But I guess we will have to pay another £40 for a decent lock and £18 for extra keys. And it's not really the replacement cost, but the time and effort I now have to put into sorting this out - much more costly to me. Just goes to show how one person at a company can cost it any future orders (and this was our first). Am sure there are other companies out there providing a similar product - so be aware.

recently purchased a fire exit door and dealt with Jon Simonian, who was fantastic throughout the whole process. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and made everything straightforward.
The door itself was excellent quality and much easier to install than the wooden ones I usually work with – no need for planing, lock fitting, or painting, which saved a lot of time. It was also very competitively priced.
Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be a returning customer.
