Premetto che ho contribuito alle prime due campagne su Kickstarter e devo dire che gli unici problemi sono stati di comunicazione.

Nulla da dire riguardo la qualità dei prodotti di fatti ho appena richiesto 3 frame di un vecchio modello con cui mi trovo benissimo (Haussmann Smart Metal, dalla campagna del 2019) e sono stati spediti in neanche 2 giorni!

Curioso di vedere la nuova campagna!

In the past 4 years, i bought a total of 7 pair of glasses, for me and family. Prescription lenses, sunglasses w/ prescription, through kickstarter campaing and direct purchase from the site.

Regarding the quality of the frames and lenses I am more than happy.
I have some reservations about the latest kickstarter campaigns, but when it comes to value for money, the lance glasses are second to none.

Buying a pair of glasses online, without trying them on, is certainly a leap of faith. But I have found the ideal frame for me, and now I have at least 4 different colors to choose from.

Good customer service all around.

And one last thing: the lenses are lasting very well, despite the mistreatment I subject them to (kids, dog, working in a kitchen).

I will soon try also the "lense replacement" service when i will change my prescription.

I purchased a frame and lens from Lance in 2021 and again in 2022, when they collaborated with Hoolens. Both campaigns were launched through Kickstarter.

My personal experience has been fairly positive with one or two things that they need to improve. Due to various restrictions brought about by the pandemic, production and delivery has been severely affected, this in turn delayed the delivery to the backers. Though the delay is acceptable, to most people, what irked me was that they do not communicate in a timely manner. Most often then not, communication only surfaces after a flood of backlash due to the lack of. From the comment section of the first campaign, it appears that there are backers who have yet to receive their orders, I'm not sure the reasons for it but it certainly doesn't project well for their image.

I backed them the second time around because the final product is beautiful and affordable but would I back a third campaign, I'm not too sure.

I've purchased 3 pairs of glasses from Lance over the years, and they're the best I've ever had. They have the filters I look for, and are stylish and built to last. I'm always impressed by the finish and quality of the product, and the ordering process is easy when you have a prescription. All in all, great!

Backed their second campaign and still use those glasses :) my sister and mum also got them! I backed the air campaign and never received the glasses, but lately contacted them about that issue and now they're taking care of it. It was only an issue about the change of company mail. I really love their glasses. Backed three of their campaigns and will keep on doing it :)

I am four pairs in and waiting on my 5th pair and ready to order 6th. The quality, fit and finish is so awesome. And the designs just look good on everyone so don’t hesitate and back them!

The order of my new glasses that I received as a result of my Kickstarter pledge yesterday are beautiful and extremely well made. My family and I think that they are beautiful on me. This is the second Kickstarter that I have ordered from them and both times the team was responsive to my questions and helped me a lot. I will be purchasing from them again on their next project. I understand that the logistics to produce and get the glasses to me post pandemic slowed the team down in producing the glasses, but I have been patient and I feel that they produced a great quality product in a very timely fashion.

I supported the Lance Air Frame campaign and received the pair of glasses that I had ordered from them. Later on they offered their supporters a opportunity to purchase additional glasses and accessories. I had ordered a pair of Hausman Clip-on sunshades and a case.
It’s been almost a year when I placed that order and have yet to receive either.

Paid for Lance Air glasses on Kickstarter, uploaded my prescription when they asked for it in September 2021. A year and half later, I still do not have the product.

I re order from Lance Glasses for the 3 rd times. It is my everyday eyewear since 3 years!
Can't wait for the new collection!

When they can’t deliver a product they said they would, and have messed people around for well over a year, they won’t refund

Be very careful of them both on kickstarter and direct

No feedback regarding my new glasses where the frame broke on both models (mine and of my partner). But everyday updates about the new products :)
I reached out 2 times and got no feedback even after months

I needed to replace a broken nose bridge.
After sending a few photos showing the problem, the company sent me a replacement bridge.
Great response.

I found Lance Glasses by backing a Kickstarter campaign. I was really pleased with the glasses, very high quality, well-made and very light.
I came to want a pair of reading sunglasses but the KS campaign was long over. So I reached out to Lance Glasses directly.
To my delight, they were able to supply what I wanted. Cristina was very (very!) patient and helpful.
I ordered the reactive lenses for my readers, the same as my first pair. This means I only need to take one pair of reading glasses on holiday. Perfect!

I received a competely defectous product - all extras I had paid for were missing, so I ended up with bottle neck thick glasses with strong reflection on both sides of the lense that make them competely unusable. I have been trying to get a reimbursment for the lenses since the end of December but 5 months later still no result. I am in an endless conversation with the Lance team who just refuses to believe that the error was on their end even though I have provided a large gamme of proof. (I did not fill out the prescription incorrectly, and I did pay for those extras).
All in all, if they get your order right the glasses are great, if they don't you just lose your money. I know as I own several pairs of Lance Glasses - unfortunately for me, of course, they don't seem to care much of the "loyal custom aspect". Also, on the first look the frame quality seems to have decreased as well since their production shifted away from the Hong Kong based factory.

I have given them every opportunity to prove me wrong, but here goes. Do not purchase from them, they provide poor quality products hiding behind a “French” design banner, super advanced technology, and “crowdfunding” myth. I have sun clips go rusty, glasses break within a week and scratched lenses. They are not to be dealt with.

Glasses were delivered with wrong lenses. eg I probably received someone else's kit! ZERO comms from customer service and believe me I tried and tried. Bad joke. I strongly advise against investing into their business.

I backed the Lance Air project after hoping to find a pair of stylish, modern, glasses that were reasonably priced, and Lance delivered!

The product itself is very impressive. The glasses are comfortable, well-constructed, and look gorgeous.

As expected, there was a long wait to receive them, but given that this was a crowd-funding project by a small team, taking place during the COVID-19 pandemic, 6-months really wasn't anything to complain about at all. Additionally, the efforts that Lance went through to ensure efficient and fee-free international delivery was also really appreciated.

What was slightly unique about my purchase is that my glasses - through no fault of Lance - were sadly damaged. Lance were sympathetic about the issue and helped arrange for a brand new pair of glasses (plus lenses) to be shipped as soon as they were available, which was greatly appreciated.

I dealt a lot with Cristina over the course of the above; who was always super kind and very helpful. Response times could be a little slow at times (within 5-days), but that was to be expected given the volume of support requests that were being made for a team of that size.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for future products!

Quality is good (even if could be better for the price).
Shipping is horrible. I wanted some $60 screen glasses and ended paying a total of $130 because of their shipping price (that is not clearly explained when purchasing) ...
I will definitely not buy again :(
