This company doesn't deliver - their website is gone - they had a campaign on Kickstarter, but no reply on any message - this looks like a big scam and fraud

super quality at a super price!

I absolutely love this brand! The design is super cool and unique, making it stand out from the crowd. It's incredibly simple and easy to wear, which adds to its appeal. The quality is amazing, exceeding my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for stylish and well-made products.

I'm still wearing a pair of Lance glasses (Haussmann Smart Metal) from being one of the original backers of their 2019 Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. Their business model was a refreshing approach to curing the epidemic of overpriced eyewear in the market and I'm so glad I supported them. After 5 years my Lance glasses are like new, completely functional and never broke, just some scratches on the lens (I really abused them doing some construction and mechanical work). That kind of quality speaks for itself. But the positive experience of their customer service and responsiveness to communication really left the strongest impression. In a world where service has eroded, especially for digital interactions, I felt listened to and appreciated every time I reached out. I look forward to enjoying their products for years to come, as I've just ordered another pair of their latest Lance δ.

The best sunglasses I ever had, you definitely need to try them. Their sleek metal frames and classic aviator lenses look incredible and offer top-notch UV protection. I've never had so many people stop me to ask where I got my shades—they're a total game-changer!

Initial glasses were the best, then the next crowdfunded, then the air's (screws got loose), bu the customer service has always been non-existent, and now they don't even have a functioning website?! Thay just continue to create new campaigns leaving old supporters behind?!

Customer Service. I am strong believer that customer service is just as important as the product/service you are selling, and sometimes more so. Hands down working with Lance Air (specifically Ms. A) has been a wonderful experience. Communication A+, attitude A+, patience A+. I will definitely be buying more glasses from them.

The frames are stylish but everything else about this company is abysmal. Shipping is slow, the frame is flimsy, and my order was shipped with the wrong lenses.

After two months of continual chasing for a replacement they finally responded only to send a new pair of lenses without a frame so now I guess it's up to me to assemble the product I should have originally received.

Go elsewhere they are not worth the hassle.

I think the glasses has great design and customer care is exceptional.

I have bought 4 pairs until now from them in the past years they have been all great !! Frames solid and strong. Lenses amazing ! Customer service top top top. I fully recommend them. I will be back for my next prescription for sure !!!

I backed Lance Signature in Kickstarter, Disappointing is putting it mildly but what I opted for backing it wasn’t what was delivered. It took a long time before I even got one pair (instead of 2), and didn’t have the options that I put extra money into. Even after communicating with Lance team considerably and providing all the info they asked from me. I’d have been better off getting a pair from my local optical clinic/store

I have ordered one pair of glasses and I love them. I have ordered another pair. The quality was excellent and the customer service was outstanding.

Scammers,

Supported their "Kickstarter" campaign. Obviously not really a kick starter company. Paid upfront almost 90 euros. When I found out what I bought would actually cost me at least another 90 euros, I wanted out.

Refused to give me refund, which is in direct violation with EU laws and even tried to push me the bs, that kickstarter projects work differently, as if it was an excuse to dodge EU regulations on commerce.

In fact, they get upfront money, to sell their new product and think it's okay to not allow for a refund. Whether any reputable brand, would have to invest themselves on the development of a new product and still obligated to offer refunds on products returned within grace period. By the way, I never even got the product in the first place and was already denied refund. It is wrong in so many ways that it surprises me, that a company we such blatant violations is still allowed to operate.

They probably do a lot more dodgy things. But I will see to that this will not go unnoticed by authorities.

I love Lance eyewear. I've been a backer since your first campaign I do believe. I get compliments everywhere I go on just about every frame I have purchased over the years. They are not only stylish they are also made very well. And that is a comment from someone who knows the eyeglass business inside and out, my optical shop. I think he is okay that I don't buyt his frames because I spend a lot of money on Shamir Autograph lenses.

I backed the Lance signature glasses funded 4/10/2022 and the Lance air glasses funded on 4/10/2021. I received both pairs and love them. They have held up well. The Lance airs are a bit older. I want to look into getting lens replacements to continue wearing them. From what I’ve seen, prescription lenses are the big cost in glasses. They were fairly reasonable. Similar to discount in vision insurance.

Ottimo prodotto, sono molto soddisfatto degli occhiali. Sono al quarto Kickstarter e ogni volta il prodotto sale di qualità, ad un prezzo contenuto.

Punto negativo per i tempi (non sono in pronta consegna) e per i sun clip del 2021 che non erano molto funzionali. Negli ultimi modelli il sistema sembra migliorato.

The glasses are designed very well. However, They last about a year to a year and a half.
The customer experience is almost terrible. Like writing this preview in a french speaking page. Luckily I know some words. Everything takes long time, from the day of order till the glasses arrive can take a year. Until your last project all the lenses had to be blue filtered which is troubling. The prices are not clear during the campaign such as add-ons for prescriptive lenses. And eventually it can turn out to expansive.

Although there was initially a problem with my order going to the USA. Lol. But Octavian from the customer was 10 out of 10. She realised that my prescription was not completed probably and after several e mails ( which they answered right away) my order is ready to be completed. I am so impressed by the team behind Lance, I have already placed another order for Lance 2 glasses on kickstarter. Seriously this is so impressive

The Hoolens glasses are absolutely fabulous.
The original Lance I received had issues but the fine folks at Lance stuck with me and sent the Hoolens as a replacement.
I highly recommend them.
