There was a bit of a hiccup at the start as I did have the wrong item sent to me initially, but a quick email to Komodo put that right immediately. The person who answered was extremely apologetic... Se mere

No customer service!

I have contacted the company several times since 6th January but get no response. I purchased a jumper at Christmas but after two wears it has started to unravel. I would like to return this for a refund but do not have the original packaging so wanted advice on how to return it. I am completely unimpressed by the customer service or rather, lack of it.

Ignored me after taking my money

I spent a £50 gift card with them on an order worth £144. I returned something but still spent around £85, yet they refunded my gift card fully and the rest (about £16) to my bank card. Nowhere in their terms of service does it say this is what would happen - I’m now forced to pay another £50 with a company i don’t want to buy from again or just lose the money. What’s way worse is that i politely emailed a few times to ask about this, and i got ignored. I left a comment on their instagram which seems to have been deleted, i’ve DMed them on instagram, I’ve called their customer service number which didn’t pick up. I left a voicemail with all my info. At every step of the way i have been ignored and i’m so disappointed. I would have likely been a loyal customer if i hadn’t felt completely disrespected at every point - komodo doesn’t even do the bare minimum to get back in contact once they have your money. A shame as I wear the jumper i bought from them quite frequently.

Apologies for the poor communication on this - it's a particularly busy time of year for us and we are a very small team.

Thankyou for pointing out the issue of our website automation that prioristises refunds to gift cards - this is something we were not aware of and we are now looking into.

Unraveling gloves…

I purchased a few cotton items since I have eczema, the t-shirt was perfect but the scarf was itchy and so were the gloves on top of that they unravel quite quickly, they come with defect from the beginning
And with tags saying that they’re actually wool so why am I getting that in the first place?
I contacted them and they nicely sent me a new pair but same issue, a lot of it had imperfections again and they said that they’re having printing issues for the labels so idk
Wouldn’t recommend as it’s a bit dodgy
Lots of money spent and only able to use a item 🤡

Hi Noah. Sorry you had a bad experience with our product. We are aware of quality issues with some of our organic cotton knitwear from one of our suppliers. Also their error in mislabelling products as "Wool" (I assure you the gloves you bought were actually Cotton).

We are always looking to improve our production and have raised quality issues with this supplier already.

Komodo never ceases to impress

Absolutely thrilled with my new cashmere jumper, which arrived in no time.. It feels amazing and looks great. Been a big fan of Komodo since the 90's, and considering that I STILL wear my grey fleece jacket that I bought at Glastonbury in 1999 which still looks good as new after 25 years' of regular wear and washing (even the label inside the collar has survived the test of time!), that's what I call 'slow fashion' at its finest! That jacket and now my new jumper will very likely last me for the rest of my life at this rate! Bravo Komodo.. The quality of their clothes, their story, their ethos and CSR track record puts the mainstream labels in the shade.

Ignored and never refunded

I purchased 2 shirts for £95 2 months ago. Neither of these shirts looked like the pictures online so I decided to return them. Since then, I have received no updates about the status of my return. i have emailed twice and been ignored. A week ago, I decided to try them on Facebook and was told someone would email me that day. Needless to say I've heard nothing. I tried them for a second time on Facebook and have been ignored this time. I'm hoping this review will illicit some sort of response as I'm down £95 and have exhausted other options.

Seems like a scam pretending to be ethical

- Komodo seems fake to me: they have no FB page, and no possibility of giving a review.
- The dress I bought has a label Made in China, and I paid 150 eur for it (they claim to make their clothes in the UK)
- It is poorly worked like a fast fashion brand: not finished seems, threads all over the place, the material is transparent even though it’s corduroy.
- I didn’t receive an invoice for my purchase, even though I have requested one
- I have paid extra for express delivery where they guarantee it arrives in 2 days. Only after 2 days I got a tracking number, and the dress arrived after 4 days.
- Support is non existent, as there is no reply to any of my emails.
- One of the buttons sewn on the dress is from another brand, it’s for Stoney Creek.

• Materials & FInishing - apologies if you received a piece that was poorly finished. This is not typical quality from this supplier. We've used this same Corduroy fabric for several years now, across several styles and never had any issue with the thickness of this corduroy - we consider it quite a heavy winter weight fabric. We will check our production stock

• Invoice - I will issue a final tax invoice to you. It seems your email request was missed by my assistant.

• Express delivery - I wasn't aware that such a thing was possible sending to EU through our courrier. I will look at the settings on our site and check with courrier company how it was possible that this came up as an option for you. I am happy to refund you some of the delivery cost due to this error.
