Happy with our Kinsman Kitchen.
The on-site kitchen designer was excellent and cabinet delivery and installation was completed as planned.

Be warned, don’t use this company or give them your contact details. They will spam you forever and not let you opt out of their constant barrage of advertisement. Also their head office staff are blatantly rude and belligerent

My experience is still ongoing. I am in somewhere in between the beginning and end of a small kitchen renovation. The initial was for 3-5 days. We are now midway through the third week with no end in sight.
I'll provide an in-depth breakdown of my experience at the end of the job. What I can say with certainty right now is that the experience has been underwhelming.

Kinsman delivered our laundry makeover on time and to our satisfaction, On-line communication was good.
The planning took into account our specific needs for the room. We are happy with the quality of the product and the installation was seamless. We particularly like the benchtop appearance and quality.

From the first point of contact and throughout the process of planning and installing our kitchen the staff at Kinsman were amazing.
They made me feel that I was there only customer, by responding to all my queries promptly . They listened to my plea to have the kitchen installed asap , and worked with there installers to make this happen.
We didn’t think we afford the kitchen we ended up with . Kinsman are very reasonable and work with you to get the result you dreamt of .

Kinsman were a great company to work with to install our new kitchen and laundry. Their online system made the process seamless and easy. The staff that came to install were easy to work with and great craftsmen/women. Our kitchen and laundry are as perfect as we envisaged. We cannot thank Kinsman enough for their help and support.

Shocking company...where do I start!! The only reason we went with Kinsman was not the price but the 6 week turn around that they would have work completed. We also liked the colour that was exclusive to Kinsman. We paid all upfront except for installation. 2 weeks before installation we were told that they had a problem with the colour which they now had to remake so would b a 4 week wait. After so many phone calls we managed to get the carcasses installed. It all went wrong from there. They sent the end panels which were scratched and 2 different colours. Rods we all scratched and not cut properly or to size, the rod end fittings were all scratched. We waited for 4 weeks but received no communication to where werre our wardrobe doors , draw fronts and new end panel. We had to finally call to see when our components were going to be delivered and work finished. Weeks later we finally received only the replacement panels, more phone calls more weeks delay only to be informed that our components were sent to another job 40 minutes away and no one wanted to go collect them. Finally installer went only to be told a week later that there were no draw fronts so they had to re make them ..more delays. When they finally came to install which is now mid May and the job should have been finished 21st March 2024...the side panel is dented and scratched. Yes more delays. We are now beginning of June 2024 and I still have half finished wardrobes and built ins. I rang the complainants manager Katherine 4 times, I put in 2 writtern complaints and yet she has not bothered to call me or accept responsibility of their incompetency or has not offered any compensation for the 2 months of hell. I did get a message from someone from head office stating that our mis-fortune will help Kinsman become a better company! Laughable!!!

I totally understand things can get delayed or go wrong but when you have a customer that experiences so much go wrong and you don't even address, apologise and ethnically offer some sort of compensation your not a good company and you are worthy of all the bad reviews you get. I have told everyone how shocking your company is how bad Katherine is in responding to complaints!

I felt like the design consultant understood my budget and tried to work within my means. She also have great tips for handles etc. The follow up process was good and I could speak to someone each time I needed to. The only problem I came across was when they booked the measurement in, we went through numerous people before someone local enough took the job.

Great service, highly recommended. Excellent product and installed beautifully. The designer took all the thought work out and provided an excellent design exactly to our requirement.

I didn’t know where to start from measure, design, rip out and install a new kitchen; which was why I went with Kinsman. They were able to work with me and take on the whole project based on what I wanted as the end result. From the beginning - customer service, designer, installer, trades; and then the finished quality product was first class. They consulted through the whole project. I was really happy.

Really top quality finishes, very well build. By far the best laminated benchtops I've come across. The installation team were great to work with, good people.
We've never owned a top quality kitchen before and to have it now is a joy.

Right from the start, we had a good, positive experience with the Kinsman Kitchen team. The design consultant and the installer were excellent. The result is that we now have our dream kitchen.

I have never had the nonsense, arrogance, rudeness, lack of communication or frustration in my years on this earth, they will never, ever, let a customer get in the way of their terms and conditions, they refuse to return calls, avoid direct appointments to discuss issues at all costs, refuse to return calls, emails etc. The promise at the start from the salesman was "no issue we can do that drawing", within weeks the crap started, no we cannot do that, he shouldn't have told you that etc, asked for our $800 deposit back, "no" per our terms and conditions even though they could not supply what was promised, went on for 7 months, have never ever seen anything like it, complete and utter disregard for people, every time you raise an issue you get "per our terms and conditions" and then it goes silent, despite being in dispute we were still demanded to pay our final installment, even though I pointed out we were not satisfied and in dispute, then told we will be charged a holding fee/stocking fee, then yet again the communication stops, area manager/state manager/sales rep all totally ignored our complaints. The only positive was the installers, they were fantastic, couldnt fault them, I hate the unit we have now as every time I look at it it reminds me of this mob.

Kinsman Kitchens were great from the day I contacted them. Their reception staff were very friendly and helpful with any enquiries I made. Their kitchen designer, Tusher, was very pleasant and really helpful in discussing the various options and colours and layout of the of the cabinetry. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking at having a new kitchen designed.

I saw an advert via Instagram offering a kitchen quote so I filled out the form and spoke to a representative who booked me in for an appointment.

I explained that we are planning a renovation and wanted to speak to the kitchen experts about the type of kitchen I could place in the area and what space I need to allocate. We are huge fans of the block and thought highly of the company before this experience.

I had the appointment booked and was very honest about where we were at with our project, however the day before my scheduled meeting, I received a call about the appointment and the staff member told me that you only ‘deal with people that have authorised plans’. Your staff made it clear that I was wasting her time.

Unfortunately, I took time from work and arranged care for my kids to be able to attend the morning appointment and was very clear about my intentions of the appointment. The staff were unhelpful and I found this whole experience a waste of my time. I will simply be going elsewhere.

The rep at the Good Guys showroom, Bundall, was absolutely lovely and the process to sign up was very professional. Unfortunately our “design consultant” overpromised and completely under delivered. We chose to use Kinsman because of the added feature of a laundry basket and hanging pants rack, though when we got to the last instalment payment when you contractually can’t exit the process without losing money they apologised and told us the pant rack and laundry rack wouldn’t fit our design choice. We were very upset then the Melbourne based kinsman employee said we could order the items ourselves and they would fit. The items didn’t fit and we were never able to install them without ugly packing either side of the sliding pieces. We have now removed those added features and have a simple hanging rack and Jospeh Joseph laundry basket when we could have got without spending $14,000 on something we could’ve got for $5,000. Super disappointing and would hate for anyone else to waste their money and time.

Very overpriced for what you get. I had Sharon as the designer. She was hopeless, left the mirror out and now I have unusable drawers that I can’t even put a bra in! All they care about is getting the sale. Zero customer service. The only reason they’re in business is because they pay The Block a lot of money.

I don’t even want to give this company one star. Kinsman kitchens are nothing more than a dishonest joinery company.
They promised a kitchen before Christmas and it wasn’t installed until February.
When it did arrive there were parts missing and it was up to the installer to sort out their mess.
The customer service is non existent and the quality of the cabinets is no better than a kaboodle kitchen from Bunnings!
I feel like a bunny for using them in the first place.

So glad I have decided to read all the reviews before I go with a company that doesn’t deliver at all.
Thanks everyone for saving me the heartache and money that you all unfortunately went through. My experience with them was really bad communication also got a really bad vibe from the designer that made up the prices along the way.

The kitchen size was 450 cm smaller and the quality is very bad , please DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THE, not only they not doing their job they will blame you for not reading the policy properly, as first time buyer i did not had any experience and they were such lair , all they wanted to get the money and convince to sign,
please save you money and NOT buy from them
