King Soopers Broomfield CO. Tired of spending over $300+ on groceries and with every shopping trip there is ALWAYS something packaged and it's either bad when I open package or is bad within a day or so. Chobani oatmilk, opened and it was in fridge for 3 days (expire date Sept; it's July) and it went bad. Prairie Legacy Grass Fed Beef. Sell or freeze by July 27 (today is July14) opened package and the smell was horrible. Tossed it. Stupidly, I do not keep my receipts once I put the groceries away so I can't bring the food back. I've tried this before and the customer service person told me I need to have receipt in order to get refund or get another product. So sad. I'm officially done with King Soopers. With everything being so expensive these days it's very hard to throw your groceries in the trash because it has turned or your ground beef smells so bad as soon as you open the package it makes you want to be sick. Something should be done. But it won't I'm sure judging by how many stars King Soopers has gotten on this website. Needed to put it out there because I KNOW I'm not the only one.

They fired an employee (with a military background) for phone recording 3 thieves stealing $400-$500 worth of laundry soap, etc. That's got to be the shoddiest way to treat a loyal employee who did not engage or provoke the thieves. We're laughing at your Kroger-owned company all the way from Florida, you ignorant asshats.

I went to the kings on S Simms in the self check out lane. Deanna the clerk watching over everyone like a hawk making sure you don’t steal. I loved my grocery sack on the above shelf, she Gomes over making sure everything in the bags is scanned. When you put them up on the shelf she is summoned to come over and look at your list. I stopped for a second to make sure I had everything and the scanner told me to press a button and as I was thinking Deanna came up telling me to press the button, her tone was extremely rude, making me look like an idiot. I complained to the store managers. Going shopping at kings is a challenge, there are no clerks snooty check you out, probably because of the wages but dealing with Deanna at the self checkout is enough to make you go to a different store. Maybe she should go round up carts in the parking lot. There was plenty out there for her to retrieve

Had the WORST experience here, my digital coupon didn't work!! I asked Lynette the cashier and she was extremely rude. I forgot my phone at home so I couldn't prove I had the coupon. Instead of giving me the coupon the cashier refused to sell me the sauce. I have never been treated like this. The worst thing is the cashier was rude and yelled at my mother who is battling cancer. I asked why she was so cranky and had such bad customer service, her reply to me was to shop at wal-mart!!! This was a horrible and traumatic experience and I will NEVER shop at this king soopers again

This is specifically for the King Soopers store at 750 Washington St, Thornton, Colorado. There was a gentleman in front of my full cart with another full cart of groceries. Another man was behind me. There was one checkout lady, and I politely asked for another checker. By the time the checker was able to get her Front End Manager over to answer the question, she had almost scanned all the groceries. The Manager admitted she had someone on lunch, she didn't jump in and help out by opening another checkstand, but looked at what was left by the time she arrived, and said, we don't need another checkstand open. I called later and complained about her attitude, same woman answered, and instead of solving their issue, irritatedly defended why she didn't help out by claiming she was carrying two money bags, which she wasn't at the initial conversation. She claimed to be the Store Supervisor, and was rather demeaning in her speech. Apparently customer service and personal responsibility is not something this store understands. Checker lady was very fast and polite. Just not her manager.

King Soopers on Pace/17th in Longmont is a HORRIBLE store. Pitiful produce selection which looks wilted and inedible and spoiled produce once you get it home and cut into it.

Now two recent spoiled dairy products, despite good expiration dates…. I’m done!

I’ve written their corporate office for years about the horrendous store and hear nothing back, except some coupons in the mail so I can buy more spoiled food. 🤔.

I’m voting with my feet and am going to Safeway or Natural Grocers.

You guys deserve to be dumped into the refuse bin with all your inedible food.

I've been shopping at King Soopers all my life and I'm not returning. They have made the online coupons so difficult that I can't use them. They used to allow customers to use their phone number but dropped this, likely to increase profits. No thanks. Plenty of other places to shop.

I have shopped at Soops my whole life and my dad even worked for them for many years. Went in today for just a few sale items and found out all this time that I wasnt getting sale prices. You have to download app and get digital coupons . What the hell? Sell prices were posted on the shelf, I have used my King Soopers card thinking that I was being sold sale price. I will never shop there again! They have sure changed! Guess they have to pay for all their commercials! Very poor service! Companies need to know that not everyone uses their computers or phones on a daily basis! And I not only shop for my family, I shop for others and they will shop wherever I choose to go. Big loss for you King Soopers!

I worked part-time for King Sooper grocery store in Centennial Colorado for 5 weeks late November 2022 to December 23, 2022, which was my last day as I got covid. I was hired at one wage, but was paid less. I received a total of 5 paychecks, but not once did it include actual hours I worked. Each time I brought this up to Asst Mgr (who hired me) and Store Manager, they said they are working on it. This was 4 months ago and now both managers are no longer with the store. Denver Human Resource Manager said she was told I never logged in so I explained I did not receive a badge number for 4 weeks and logged in on notepad on asst mgr office door, as instructed, then was not correctly instructed how to use time machine for that last week. She said I had to work this out with hiring mnager. When I told her I was going to file a report with Colorado Department of Labor that would include a $1,000 penalty, she said ok.

Recently, I am not getting my weekly ads in the mail about king Soopers what’s on sales. I am in Denver with a zip 80222 there are three kings in my area, U Hills, Glendale Co on Leesdale, and Belloco. Two store on so Colorado one in U Hills, south , One North and one behind the super target, friends get their local ads. The dumb ass on the call center which I had to call dozen of times because their over seas reps are morons and don’t know crap They gave me bs excuses and different reason. No signs in stores no press release on local media nothing Super Target , and Walmart has my business. I been shopping for over 20 years plus. Family you lost a customer. It’s called communication. Go to hell

I have lived in Denver, Lakewood, Aurora, Boulder Ft. Collins, and now Loveland. I had a career as an Entrp[remneur with more than 12 different businesses founded developed and sold over 30 years. The Eagle drive store is definitely the worst I have ever experienced. The Deli is understaffed with wait times approaching 15 minutes. When I brought this to the attention of the Manager he just shrugged his shoulders and did not care. If my business was losing money due to poor customer service I would be livid. The self-checkout clerk was shooting the breeze with a guy and both were google eyed with each other. So much so neither of these employees saw me check out in the self check out line, and they decided that I was ripping off groceries. Maybe if they were paying attention, they would not have been so interested in offending me by accusing me of being a thief. With a six-figure income, I certainly don't need to steal anything. Somehow, I don't feel that a merger between the major grocery chains is going to be helpful. If anything, it will become a drastic disaster.

City Market in Breckenridge CO is one of the best King Soopers' stores I've been to. It's always a pleasure to see those cheerful cashiers and managers! They remember me no matter how much time has passed.
That's the best place to shop in Breck for sure!

The gentleman Geno is the cart attendant he is respectful guy always looking out for others. We need more like him

Whole i was shopping, two OLDER cutomers were purposely spitting and coughing into produce, i told the produce manager and the STORE MANAGER the STORE MANAGER named KENDRA told me i was lying. Have dun fetting covid for all yall that shop at kings. The management at store #25 in colorado DOESNT CARE about THEIR EMPLOYEES . I Was one..... 2 yearz + now !

Today I stopped being a King Soopers customer after 20 plus years! Tried to call Corporate on an issue. Treated terribly.

King Soopers uses very deceptive sales tactics. An example is that they presently have a bag of Lays potato chips that retails for $5.49, now on sale for $3.00. Well, a large sign says "$3.00" in very large print. However written in very small print at the bottom of the sign, it says that you have to buy two packages. I returned to the store to find out this deception. A person with normal vision would probably not try to read that small of print. They would probably ignor it on such a large sign. This practice should remind us all that King Soopers does not have a deal, "to good to be true".

My dad actually fished in the Basalt area of Colorado with Lloyd King in the ‘50s! Dad owned a poultry company in Denver, and sold to King Soopers. They were good friends.
Anyway, my family and others in Evergreen, Colorado are very shocked at what King Soopers offers to its customers….really no excuse…..empty shelves, small and poorly prepared produce products, etc. We now, as do others, go to Safeway. really

They always have good quality produce. The sushi is pretty solid too for a grocery store.
