I had made a very stupid mistake and put in the wrong email address when I placed my order. I was worried I somehow screwed up this pretty expensive purchase, but Jean was very patient and helpful and made sure everything worked smoothly. Very responsive and helpful and informative, a lovely customer service interaction! Would reccomend KBDfans based on the quality of Jean's support.

I ordered a GT80 for $149 USD including shipping. Because the shipping cost wasn’t declared on the customs documents, DHL applied the highest rate, increasing the total to €179.

This meant paying around 50% extra on top of the actual item value of $126 USD, including nearly €60 in tax and handling fees.

Additionally, some essential parts were missing and had to be resent. Due to incorrect declaration, I incurred almost €30 in extra charges for parts worth just $5 USD, which should have been delivered free as “free replacement / no commercial value.”

Altogether, the additional costs could have nearly paid for a second case. After a PayPal dispute, the overpaid fees were refunded — but I would not repeat this experience.

Couple things:
I was nervous about ordering from China for all the normal reasons sending hundreds of dollars to another country can be stressful. My purchase shipped very quickly and I got updates as soon as it cleared customs. Super easy.
Second - I made a mistake on my order and realized I missed something critical. I figured I was basically sol but I tried customer service and immediately got a response with a solution to my problem. Jean was very helpful and responsive! Looking forward to my next order. An absolute pleasure to work with, as a newcomer I ran into a few issues with software flashing and they were fast easy to work with and friendly. I can't recommend them enough

People complaining about the import tax should've expected as such as with any product imported from elsewhere.

Even including the tax the value for money is incredible - I was provided with any necessary accessories to customise my keyboard however I liked, all the keycaps, spare switches, spare backplates and more. Not only that, but the build quality is phenomenal, all complemented by good customer service and an active live chat.

Second time returning and not disappointed. Will be back again!

ordered a keyboard in a color that they said was in stock after purchasing was told they made a mistake and they didn't have the color I ordered in stock to which I was sent the different color and the order wasn't cancelled when trying to return it was told I had to pay to ship it back which is about $70 some dollars to get the refund for the $130 keyboard when talking to support was told there was nothing they could do for me even though they made the mistake I never bought something from a site that said they had something in stock when they didn't and send you a different color and think you are supposed to just be ok with it then told to send it back but I have to pay for shipping cost very unprofessional and was not given any chance to be able to fix it overall a waste of time and won't ever try to buy another one of their products again

Great products and support!

I was unlucky with some keycaps I got, but KBDfans replaced the faulty keycaps without any hassle and very fast with shipping from China to Sweden! I have so mandy KBDfans products and all are great quality and always get great support!

High quality keycaps, excellent original designs, shipping only took 5 days from China to Belgium with no important damage or shuffled keycaps thanks to the very sturdy hard cardboard box and solid plastic trays.
I decided to get PBTfans X-ray after being interested in the set for a while and I'm not disappointed, they sound, feel and look great.
The prices are also pretty good for a premium keycap set, especially one as unique as this.
Edit: Ordered two more times after writing this review and it went flawlessly, support was very responsive and pertinent, would still absolutely recommend.

Terrible customer service they take so long to answer I'd they even do.

Ordered the Tofu65 2.0 pcb to replace my Tofu65 original pcb, and that's my mistake as those two are incompatible. I opened the packaging, then put it back when i realized my mistake. After contacting them about a refund, they told me it was still ok to return but I'd have to pay for shipping AND mark it as an item valued below $40 so they don't have to pay extra taxes. That's a straight up lie and so shady, and on top of that the shipping cost nearly $30. I called it quits and I just have an extra pcb sitting around now. I have never had a good experience with KBD fans and if I ever look for new keyboard parts I will absolutely stay away from them at all costs. Waste of space

Excellent customer service, messaged them on instagram and got a really prompt and clear response, also helped to clarify layout and colour compatibility. Really recommended!

I ordered a set of keycaps and returned them, only received 25.31 out of 126.57$ Further attempts to dispute it landed my account frozen and unable to get any help unless I cancelled my paypal dispute and let them handle it.

This is hands down one of the most incredible, friendly, and consumer-friendly keyboard companies in the hobby.

I had ordered a quartz wrist wrest from them and the ordering and shipping process was hassle-free, fast, and extremely affordable, even by international shipping standards.

I used the wrist wrest for several months, as intended, but the material itself degrades very quickly and becomes cloudy and gross with even the lighting amount of sweat and bacteria, and also just regular cleaning.

I emailed KDBFans about this, with photos attached in my email. There was no BS, lying, undervaluing, or low-balling me. They talked to their factory and the employees there said this is common for quartz.

Jean was kind enough to offer me a completely FREE marble wrist rest replacement and I jumped at the opportunity.

Within a few days, a new order was shipped out and about a week later, my marble wrist rest was hand-delivered to me at my door.

This thing is 1,000 times more gorgeous than the quartz.

That's not what's remarkable though; what's remarkable is the customer service I experienced with KBDFans. Their policies, agents, and politeness are unmatched. They were so extremely polite, well-spoken, kind, and prompt.

Extremely well-mannered people work here.

I am beyond satisfied.

Any new keyboard related orders for me will absolutely go through KDB Fans from now on.
