Absolutely amazing
Very helpful when i received a faulty figure, fast postage and i have now ordered from them several times and plan to continue in the future.

I have purchased from Kapow many times and they have always offered fair prices and decent customer service. Nice place to shop and would happily recommend them to others.

I remember being younger and looking at Kapow toys and thinking damn I wish I had adult money so I can irresponsibly spend them on this website. Well been an adult for a while now with adult money and I’m happy to say spending that adult money on this website is one of my best decisions. My items always arrive on time beautifully packed and even arrive within 2 days of ordering. Fantastic people and fantastic service!

If these guys despatched any quicker, they would be delivering the toys to me before I knew I wanted them!

Been reading the 1 star reviews on here, particularly complaining about dispatch times and staff rudeness and I’m surprised.

I’ve been buying from Kapow toys for a little while now and I’ve never had any issues that would come close to making feel like not buying from them again or leaving negative reviews.

Let’s just put things in perspective, Kapow is a small family run business that, despite a global pandemic, hasn’t stopped operating. They’re probably operating on skeleton staff while trying to maintain the same level of output. We’ve also had Brexit to deal with, which has massively slowed the arrival of import figures, so maybe cut these guys some slack?

I think some of the people citing “rudeness” in reviews are confusing rude with abrupt (or rushed off their feet). I’ve made a few calls and sent a few emails just to get updates and have found Mat and Charlotte to be helpful every time. I get an answer. Is it fluffy and full of “yes sirs” and “thank yous”? No. Do I expect it to be? No.

I’m getting my S.H. Figuarts Bardock today, two weeks after paying the invoice. Is that a bit later than I’d like it to be? Sure. Is it really a big deal? Absolutely not. The product, is en route, which is hard enough to get hold of in a pandemic situation as it is. I’m still paying less than I’d have to pay to import it myself.

So yeah, kind of more a rant at childish reviewing tactics than a review of Kapow toys really, so I’ll cap it off by saying thank you Kapow for continuing to trade and do the best you can in trying times. I will continue to buy from you guys as I think you’re one of the best in the UK.

Just unwilling to be helpful. It is now the 9th time I've left the review. The first 8 were removed by Trustpilot when kapow complained I'm not a customer.

I provided all the proof asked, but I asked that none of my details be given to kapow, as allowed in Trustpilots policy. It took a VERY long time to get that done. TP closed the case in my favour. Yet kapoo keep up their tantrums and Trustpilot are just too slow to respond. TP takes months to reply to a query but they remove my reviews in a few days, so I've no chance. Here we go again.

Kapow spends far too much time picking fights on TP instead of providing a service that wouldn't get them bad reviews in the first place. It's hissy fits and bad attitudes all the way. They remind me of that nosey neighbour who comes out with a tape measure any time you parked too far from the kerb. They ARE the problem.

Every one of my orders arrived late. They seem to mark orders as sent but don't actually post them. They generate the postage label then forget about it. I've ordered from them near 10 times. My orders range from about £100 to £200. My last order was marked as sent but tracking showed it took a week before it reached the post office. Consequently it arrived a week late.

Their communication is poor and a bit unfriendly. When I've contacted them I either got no reply or had a rude reply. I'd call them snotty retorts rather than polite replies (look at their replies to any of their bad feedback). Their customer service is very poor overall.

If you're in a hurry, like to be updated, like a bit of common courtesy, or even basic manners, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. I don't like having to deal with difficult people. I am mildly autistic and found dealing with them extremely stressful. Buying online should be easy, but not here.

I left this review because asking them to resolve an issue has failed 100% of the time. I do not wish to engage in discussion with them.

In a reply to a previous review they said they've no record of me buying from them. How would they know if they don't know who I am? My name isn't on this review. Do you think they are psychic? I don't. With all their records of transactions they are sure I'm not one of them even though they don't know my name? Good grief. That's what you'll have to deal with if you buy from kapow, that's the level they're on. I would give less than 1 star if I could.

The pattern now is this, kapow will leave a reply that completely ignores my points, and say pointless things like how they can't help if I don't tell them my name. Remember, I didn't ask for help and wish to stay anonymous. They weren't interested in helping when it mattered to me. Now it matters only to them, so they pretend to play ball? That is their mentality.

UPDATE: Kapwos reply was as I thought it would be: "Thanks for your review, if you would reply to us with either the issue you are facing or proof you are a customer then we will be more than happy to help you as much as we can. We cannot currently find any record of a Slim on our system. Kindest regards Andy"

Do I win a prize? They are predictably awful. Did I mention my name's not Slim? Are they aware no one is actually called Slim? The time to help was before I needed to leave the review. What they do now is less like help and more like a re-enactment of how to get bad reviews to start with. Ignoring people may be their true talent.

Kapoo replied again:

Thanks for your 6th review. Trustpilot keep removing your reviews because you are not giving them the information they require. Identifying yourself as Mr Spider-Man and giving them eBay message redirect as your email address might have something to do with this. Thanks"

(They often change their replies after I respond. Maybe an effort to make it look like the conversation went differently? That's why I put their replies here, to help avoid confusion.)

Here's my considered reply to them:
A) No. I provided proof. TP remove my reviews because you are incapable of accepting you are an awful company to deal with. Simple as that.
B) I gave TP everything they asked for, but you keep reporting each of my resubmitted reviews again and again. YOU are the problem, not Trustpilot.
C) I said The Spider-Man, not Mr Spider-Man. Can you prove I'm not? I'm not obliged to share my name with you. I'm allowed privacy. You keep badgering me for my name. STOP THE BULLYING!
D) The email bit was prefilled. TP already had my email. The redirect was to hide it from YOU. I don't have to tell you my personal details. Constant bullying won't help you.

Someone named WR made a fake review parodying mine, and mocking my autism. That is a horrible thing to do. It has been reported for violating TP's policies. I want to be CLEAR and say I DO NOT think WR is Kapow Toys using another user account. Kapow would NEVER stoop to do a thing so VILE. Kapow are smashing. :)

I have been buying from kapow toys for over 10 years and not once have they let me down , not only are they reliable but they are also very keenly priced.

Excellent products and great customer service and advice, as a long term collector the kapow team are always willing to help. Products arrived on time with up to date communication

I've dealt with Kapow regularly for years and never had a single issue. Great prices, and consistently fantastic service. One of the greatest collectable sites in the UK. Buy with confidence!

Long time customer and what a Great retailer, had a few issues with long standing preorders through no fault of anyone quickly resolved and item sent out.

Items are also sent in excellent packaging.

I have been shopping with Kapow for many years now, and have never had anyc ause for complaint. When I have made mistakes, they have been helpful and good humoured. On the extremely rare occasions that they have made a mistake, they have resolved it with no issues at all. Once, they send me a spare piece for a figure that I had bought somewhere else!

I pre-ordered the Mezco Planet of the Apes Dr. Zaius figure from another company (it begins with Z and ends in I) back in September last year. Then on release date I receive an email stating its no longer available and they can't get more stock!! So I looked elsewhere and found Kapow Toys. Dr. Zaius is in stock, ordered it, received an e-mail saying order had been received and when it will be sent and with tracking details. It arrived on time in great packaging, perfect condition. Really pleased with the service from Kapow Toys. This is how all online ordering should be! Highly recommend them and will certainly use again...Many thanks.

Excellent store to buy marvel legends, mezco and neca figures from. Great prices and their postage is not just fast but well packed and the items always arrive perfect. The staff are also very friendly as I have had to cancel many pre orders some on the day of payment due to late paydays, covid and sometimes just not having the money available at the time when I thought I would. I always feel guilty for doing this but the staff have never treated me poorly and were always understanding. They are my go to now for toys and collectables and recommend them to friends who like to collect too. If I had to make 1 suggestion it would be to please try to get more things like Figma in. As a huge anime fan there isn’t many places that stock them and when they do it’s very limited though I understand the reasons they may not either want to or are able too etc I’m just putting it out there as a fan.

TLDR very good company, trusted, fair on prices and great communication with staff.

Ordered a few days ago and came super fast. Brill deals on their website, found some items that were sold out in other places. Could not ask for better quality & service. Will definitely be ordering again soon! p.s. don't trust the negative reviews, they seem to be from people who haven't fully read the descriptions of the items they're purchasing. Thanks so much! :)

Kapow are a great bunch - friendly and helpful. I'm by now a long time customer and reckon I will be for many years to come, too.

Ordered several 6 inch star wars figures - the whole experience from ordering online to receiving my items were 5 Stars.
All figures were packed professionally and my carded figures had no bends which is my main concern when receiving items.
First class service - will be ordering again.

Purchased a Jurassic Park silver ticket which arrived well packed and in 3 days. I will be back for the Jurassic Park tin set next month wages permitting :)

Ordered a Star wars item received very quickly but what item is nothing like the photo on the webpage. I should have received a Star wars game and figure only received the game. They told me figure was in the box but photo clearly shows a separate figure. When I phone to complain I was sworn at and abused I've taken this matter to trading standards and the police will never use again beware. Please read the reply which is slanderous I have recorded conversations where I stayed I will return by hand to sort it out. And still nothing about the abuse one of the employees garage me which is also recorded
I have read your reply on trustpilot which I will also be passing on. I have recording to stating if you do not behind return labels I will deliver by hand so we can sort it out not as you quoted I will sort you out. Also like to point out previous email wear your advert clearly states the word 'ALSO includes figure" which is also very misleading when you put next to the photos. I am not surprised you have not got ADR number as this is for reputable companies. I have already emailed you the trading standards reference number forward you police case number once complaint is completed. This is not about money but the principal , your website is misleading on two counts, the way I was spoken to on the first phone call was disgusting which continued on the second phone call and on the second phone call i did swear back only after taking abuse. what great of customer service
