Great experience at the Failsworth pharmacy. Was able to get repeat contraceptive pill through the NHS pill check service, without having to go to my GP. Painless and much easier - i literally walked in and it was sorted that day.

Mersea Road Pharmacy are very helpful, kind and considerate. They go over and above to help with complicated prescription issues. Very nice staff. As a family carer I am very happy with the service I receive from them.

Came away without my medication service provided by this pharmacy was outstanding help helped giving me instructions to obtain an emergency prescription and when this didn’t work contacted my surgery on my behalf absolutely brilliant service

This is a tricky one as it’s very branch and staff dependent. There are two near me, and one is far better than the other. I avoid the second one if I can, as whist some of the staff are good, there’s one in particular who is awful, and another couple who just aren’t helpful or pleasant.
I think it comes down to the staff you have in your particular branch quite a lot, but they are both very good at getting medication in quickly if they don’t have it - and they usually have at least some, to keep you going.
The Saturday afternoon closures are so bizarre though! What shop closes at 1pm on a Saturday these days? I know of no other, and find it quite strange.
On the whole though I would recommend them, as the majority of their staff are nice, and more usefully I suppose, competent.
A lot of retailers these days seem to be staffed by people who really aren’t up to the job, when you ask them a question they seem to find it hard to understand, let alone answer satisfactorily (including a well known competitor of Kamsons who are nationwide!).
At Kamsons the calibre of the staff is higher, they seem to train their staff well, and they have never not been able to answer a question for me.
The pharmacists are knowledgeable, and helpful. There was one at my ‘favourite’ branch who was exceptional, sadly he was moved to another branch which wasn’t doing so well, so that he could sort things out there.
The same happened with my favourite staff member, she was so good that she was also sent to an underperforming branch to help get it up to standard. I have to go to the chemist a lot as I have chronic conditions, at least weekly and often twice. Sometimes it’s three or four times, so it’s important to me that they’re efficient and pleasant, and make my service dog welcome too.
I’m just getting to know the influx of new staff at my branch which has just been expanded, and they seem lovely.
One of them even taught me how to use my phone to pay, (yes, I’m old 🤣), and she even remembered, and asked me if I’d used it elsewhere. I was really impressed, as they have hundreds of customers, so to remember such a small thing was amazing!!
All in all I would recommend Kamsons.

What I want from a pharmacy is efficiency in turning round my prescriptions, thoughtfulness in dealing with me and my issues, warmth and friendliness when I come to the counter. All these are five star when I visit Kamsons in Highcliffe. I am so pleased that this pharmacy is my local one.

All staff including Komal is consistently friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. They take the time to explain medications clearly, answer questions patiently, and make sure everything is handled efficiently. Even during busy periods, they remain calm and approachable, which really makes a difference. Their excellent customer service and genuine care for patients is greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.

Staff do NOT answer phone, waiting for prescription to be delivered, however unable to contact branch (Faith street) to enquire if and when it will be delivered! rang all day, second time I have had this problem shocking lack of service!!

Fantastic pharmacy Joal is just the best he looks after us his patients so well I’m so lucky to have found this pharmacy they are honestly the best pharmacy I have ever dealt with thank you Joal you are the best 👍👍

Constantly messing up weekly prescription delivery, causing withdrawals pain n disstress

Kamsons Birch Hill Bracknell is my only pharmacy provider in Bracknell. The staff are extremely helpful, very polite and knowledgeable. I always get my prescriptions for myself and my wife on time. On some occasions they go the extra mile to get my prescriptions ready at short notice. Lately I was unable to collect in person and I was not on their delivery list but they were flexible and delivered my medications to my home address. They are outstanding.

I find Kamsons very efficient and prompt in processing my prescription requests that they receive via my GP. I rapidly receive an email from Kamsons that the prescription is ready for my collection. The staff at the Chichester branch are courteous and Sharon at the counter represents all that is good about this pharmacy with a caring and cheerful countenance.

Every couple of wks I order a repeat prescription, the process is seamless between Dr Surgery Castle St and Kamsons Windsor St further more when collecting my medication I am always greeted by the wonderful counter staff who some how greet my by my first name ask me how my dog Winnie is and send me packing with a smile on my face, brilliant !!

I have my prescription delivered and have always had excellent service. The delivery person is always polite and friendly. Cannot fault the service.

Rustington Branch

I was left waiting for my medication despite the front-desk staff being aware that it was not available. I was initially informed that the medication was unavailable and advised to return in two days. When I explained that I would be away, I was told they would see what could be done.

However, the staff member left at 6:00 pm without providing any update or handing the matter over to a colleague. I was then told by another staff member that the medication was unavailable and that I would be contacted the following day once it arrived. I never received a call.

When I returned after work, the medication was available. Believing it to be antibiotics, I asked whether I should take probiotics alongside it. I was then informed—audibly and in front of other customers—that it was a vaginal cream rather than tablets.

This raised serious concerns regarding patient confidentiality. Overall, the experience reflected poor communication and a lack of professionalism, resulting in very disappointing service.

Staff are welcoming and always work to give customer satisfaction. Nothing too much trouble.

I feel the company is a absolute shambles, I find some staff, so rude, arrogant, I never known a company who use a absolute array of excuses, there never honest, they will never apologise, a apology is like getting blood out of a stone. Whether you ring or attend the shop, there so many staff behind the counter, and it looks like absolute chaos, but you do not get seen to any quicker, you will never get greeted with a smile, you will also get stared at and made to feel very uncomfortable, if they know you complained previously they never greet you with a warm and friendly customer service, and they have no phone manners, again not friendly, you always seem to be putting them out, there are always queues, lots of shelves are empty and sparse.
I Know what I'm talking about, as I have NVQ LEVEL 1,2,3 in customer service and been a manageress, of many large retail high street stores.
Kamsons have a awful lot to learn, a smile, warm and welcoming greeting whether in person or there phone mannerisms and excepting that they are wrong at times, and a apology can go a long way, and just stop with the same old excuses, they be heard all before over and over again. Stop making customers feel so uncomfortable and staring at because they raised issues before

First class polite professional old school service with a smile . The service from Charlotte is always excellent and as a person with a bit of a needle phobia Christina is incredibly patient empathetic and gentle ! So happy to have Saltdean Kempsons on my doorstep !
