Do not use this company... absolutely shocking service... ordered a mattress that was in stock and ready for delivery to a store, 2 weeks later nothing not a single message, so today I contacted customer service to be told it's not in stock at all... they have 2 warehouses... Dublin and Denmark... its in stock in Dublin but store deliveries are from Denmark and it's not in stock and once it's in stock it will take over a week to arrive... shocking will never ever use again... Beware... money gone out of my account to there's so they don't give a hoot!!!

Absolutely diabolical. Ordered a chair on 30.03.2026, delivery expected between 5-7 working days. 10 days later, still no sign of the parcel. I contacted evri who said it has been returned to sender as the packaging didn’t align with their policies and I was to contact JYSK myself l. I phoned them and a new chair was immediately sent out.
The “chair” was delivered yesterday. Except it was actually 2 black folding chairs NOT the beige armchair I’d ordered.
Reported to JYSK who asked whether I’d like another replacement or a refund. I requested a refund however this cannot be processed until the incorrect chairs have been collected.
I now start work tomorrow in my new salon with nowhere for clients to sit!
Derby Store
I’ve used the Derby store a lot to kit out my HMOs. I find that the store manager (Josh I think his name is) is one of the most rudest people I have spoken to. All he does when you ask him questions is Huff and Puff and look not interested. How this man is a store manager I will never know.
However I do get good customer service on Wednesdays from the store assistant manager (Kelsey I think) and a male worker (Henry I think). So I only go into store now on Wednesdays. These two people are amazing and do the store and JYSK proud. These should be the people running the store. Especially how busy they are and rush around and always seem understaffed. I cannot thank these two amazing staff enough for all the service I get from you, especially after today’s visit when it was just two of them and the queue was really big but they still didn’t stress and provided the best service as always. After today I really think the store is understaffed.
Please look at the manager that runs the shop before they lose all the good staff members and the store closes because of an inept manager. Which I will say again, should never be running a store with his attitude.

I bought a mattress from Jysk because my mom had bought one and highly recommended it. She was right — the mattress is excellent, really good quality, super comfortable, and feels way more premium than the price suggests. Jysk is actually a Danish brand, so it has that solid Scandinavian quality.
When arranging delivery, they asked me when I would be at home, which I appreciated. However, they later changed the delivery date without notifying me. That was quite inconvenient because I work full-time and suddenly started receiving calls from the delivery driver while I was at work. It makes you wonder — what’s the point of asking when I’ll be home if they’re just going to change the date anyway?
Overall, I’m very happy with the mattress itself and would recommend Jysk for the product quality. Just be prepared that delivery scheduling and communication could be improved.

Ordered a dining table
Ordered a dining table, the legs arrived and the top did not, this was over 3 weeks ago and still no table top.
Customer service a terrible 2 broke promises of dispatch dates, told I would be called back and never was, no refund.

UPDATE: Was told they would call me back which never happened. When I called again I got hold of possibly the rudest customer service person I have ever spoken to. Was told I’d have to go “back in line” to wait for my furniture, even though they cancelled my order in the first place. This meant I’d have to wait 2 (!) months for what should have been a 5-10 day delivery service without so much as an apology. Only compensation offered was free delivery. Absolutely terrible experience, would avoid this company at ALL costs.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience.
After placing my full furniture order well over a week ago, everything appeared to be in place and I had every reason to believe the order was progressing as expected. However, today I was informed that my entire order has effectively been cancelled and delayed due to an error in the company’s system.
I have now been told that it will not even be sent out for delivery until a further three weeks from the original order date, which is completely unacceptable given that these items include essential furniture for my house move.
This delay has caused significant stress and disruption, as the order includes key items such as my bed, dining chairs, and other necessary furniture that I was relying on for moving into my new home.
I contacted customer service immediately and was advised that they would try to help me find a solution. However, so far I have not received any meaningful update or resolution, and the communication has been minimal.
I also specifically requested that any items currently in stock be sent out as a partial delivery to help ease the situation, but there has been little indication that the company is willing to assist with this either.
At this stage, I would strongly advise others to be cautious, particularly if ordering essential items for a time-sensitive move.
I sincerely hope the company will take this complaint seriously and work quickly to resolve the issue. I will update this review if a satisfactory solution is provided
Excellent Customer Service
Have visited your Cannock Store on numerous occasions, I would like to say that your Manager Liz is a valuable asset to your organisation she has helped us on 2 specific occasions helped when we had an issue with our garden furniture stayed in contact rang when she said she would ,sorted out everything with a happy smiling face too, she could not do enough for us . Credit where credit is due everyone is always quick to moan if there is an issue but never praise people ..
A great shopping experience in her store & will definitely be back. Huge thanks to all your efforts Liz ..
Horrendous experience
Horrendous experience. Reserved a wardrobe, received a text to say it's ready to collect, drove 40 mins to the store and it had been given to someone else! They arranged for one to be delivered to me the following week, which arrived completely damaged, box ripped wide open and a huge chip on the brand new wardrobe door. The staff member at the store was extremeley rude on the phone when complaining, and customer services have been most unhelpful as they can't seem to issue a refund or collection themselves. What's the point? I'm now £350 out of pocket, still no wardrobe and a damaged wardrobe sat in my hallway. Avoid at all costs, will never be shopping there again.

I ordered a from this brand the price point was attractive but I’ve still no received the mirror I was giving multiple delivery times and rescheduled my week to be home for these deliveries which have not arrived then I got an email to say that there was an attempted delivery but there was no post put in the door to confirm that it was an attempted delivery.
I was also home at the time of this delivery. I’ve gotten in touch to a customer service and I haven’t heard anything poor experience so far wouldn’t recommend this brand based on my experience.
I would’ve preferred to spend more money on the mirror and had accurate deliveries with another brand and retailer.
Absolutely rubbish customer service
Absolutely rubbish customer service. They issued a voucher which did not work at their store. Wasted one hr drive time and fuel. Now they have issued a replacement but can't offer free delivery.
Extremely poor delivery
Delivery arrived on my doorstep, open, broken and completely unacceptable. The delivery driver knew this and still dropped the 8 packages in such a manner. It took 3 calls to support to get somebody to agree to getting these items picked up- extremely frustrating. While the support team were nice and professional, there was no action. I reached out to the exec team and have not heard back, doubt I will- it does not seem that service is at their core- I will stick to IKEA from now on.
Bolton ..Beware a Wasted journey
Wasted journey. Numerous visits to the Bolton branch. Stock showing available..staff cannot locate the items which they agree are in stock. Very poor management. I travel a long way to visit
Three Tables. Three Damages. Avoid at All Costs.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with JYSK has been nothing short of unacceptable.
This was my first order, and it will absolutely be my last.
I ordered a dining table and chairs, and what followed was a complete failure from start to finish. The first table arrived damaged, with items missing. A replacement was arranged and also arrived damaged in the exact same corner. A third attempt was then delivered and again arrived damaged in precisely the same place.
At that point, it became clear this is not a delivery issue, but a serious quality control problem. There is no way three separate tables arrive with identical damage unless they are being packaged and sent out that way.
To make matters worse, collections were not handled properly, communication was poor, and I was left with multiple damaged tables sitting in my home while constantly chasing updates.
While small gestures such as a delivery refund and a voucher were offered, they completely miss the point. After this experience, there is no reason to order from them again.
The entire process has been stressful, time consuming, and incredibly frustrating. I have now had to source a table elsewhere.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid JYSK at all costs.

Does not even deserve 1 star. Very slow service, with no communication.
Ordered 2 items to be on 11/2 to be collected instore 20/2. Arrived to pick up to be told wont be in until 27/2. Arrived to collect on 27/2 to be told they were instore but still on pallets come back tomorrow. Following evening i rang store as i was not confident and told to come in following day. I left it 2 days and went to collect my paid for items, joined a huge queue as only 1 person serving, to be again told they still had not unpacked items and i would need to come back.
I have asked for a refund and decided to shop elsewhere.
The service is shocking, no apology, not bothered wasting customers time.
Avoid this shop in Hunts Cross Liverpool, you will be disappointed.
APPALLING QUALITY
AVOID! Frame arrived totally cracked. When I opened to inspect it practically disintegrated in my hands. I have never purchased before something of such diabolical quality- what a complete and utter waste of money!
Good experience, some of the display furniture is assembled incorrectly and gives a bad first impression of the product
Ordered 4 chairs online for pick-up in store, got a notification they were ready, came to collect them two days after the notification
The lady at the desk was friendly and helpful, we went away to browse, instead of waiting at the desk for the gentleman to bring our order from the back.
Came down a few minutes later, the order was ready, the provided moving trolley was easy to use and in good shape with the tires inflated.
Got packed up, returned the trolley. Store seemed clean and tidy.
Assembled the chairs at home, very easy if you follow the instructions correctly, all parts present, no damage, very happy.
Back when we were browsing we saw the same chair we bought on display and tried it out - it was assembled wrong with the legs being backwards making it easy to tip over backwards as you lean back - had we not tried the same model chair at a friend's house, we wouldn't have known this one was assembled incorrectly and this "first impression" would have discouraged us from purchasing.

Visited the Derby branch recently and was really disappointed. The shop was dirty and untidy, particularly the stairs, and prices were hard to find on many items, which made shopping frustrating.
Staff (in particular a male member of staff with facial hair and shorthair) didn’t seem interested in helping at all and couldn’t care less when asked for assistance, simply rushed past me and ignored me until I had to stand infront of her for attention, Upstairs was especially bad, it was so cramped that I could barely move my pushchair around, making it very uncomfortable and stressful and possible unsafe
Overall, a poor experience and not somewhere I’d rush back to. Management of the place needs to look at this as it Needs serious improvement in cleanliness, layout, and customer service.
