I felt that the holiday I had with Just You didnt live up to my expectations. In particular the Itinerary which I felt offered so much, didn't deliver. Being in Portugal over the Christmas holiday gave us so many opportunities to see and experience the life, culture and beautiful scenery that was on offer. The itinerary promised 5 days of activities culminating in a day trip to Lisbon. What was delivered was in effect 5 half days where we left the hotel at 09.30 and frequently returning at 2.30 or 3 pm. Often the trip was accompanied by a very experienced tour guide who was very knowledgeable, however on the Lisbon day for instance we spent half of our time that day in the Naval museum ! It just felt like we were doing what the tour guide wanted. Of course it could be said that participation in the itinerary was optional and I could have explored on my own - and that's fair comment - however you don't know what you don't know and in hindsight on several of the days, I should have done just that. Lastly - a comment on the hotel we stayed at. It was a very good hotel , in a great location with OK facilities, but the standard of the food was poor as was the selection. We did mention this several times to our host and he tried to have improvements made, however in general the standard remained poor, especially at dinner.

Organisation very good, pre travel info, tour guide and itinerary all good. Hotel fine, hotel staff very friendly. Food could have been better.

My first solo holiday was great. A little nervous I guess, but didn't take long to realise how well you are looked after. I went over Christmas. Nice group of people, mix of ages. 90% women!

Great week with new & old friends.

It was a very well balanced tour with a diverse range of experiences and opportunities. It was enlightening, reflective, deeply moving, inspiring. We had a wonderful tour manager who worked magic. Wonderful hotels, meals, with beautiful grounds/surroundings. I would do it again, and urge others to take this tour.

Team manager Kristin made us all feel welcome and her organisation was superb.

The tour director Karolina she was an exceptional tour guide and she made Christmas in Prague a most memorable, interesting and enjoyable tour.

She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She always put us first and ensured we experienced the sights the best we could as Prague Castle was exceptionally busy on Christmas Day.

I also have to thank Karolina for her help on Boxing Day when I developed an unexpected eye condition and needed to find a pharmacy. Karolina went out of her way to help find a pharmacy.

JustYou always make sure everyone is ok and the holidays are always well organised. The hotel was really nice and the day trips were just right in terms of how long a day they were. Kiki was a really good tour leader. She was prepared to flex things as long as everyone was happy with that, always considerate. The driver was also really nice.

Excellent Christmas 4 night trip! The Tour Manager, Kirstie was great, the local tour guide in Oxford was 5*, one of the best I've ever come across, - anywhere, ( and we all thought so), and the hotel was lovely and its staff were friendly and helpful . We were lucky with the weather too, in that although it was around zero in the daytime, it was brilliantly sunny and dry on the whole, and therefore the places we visited looked stunning. so a very positive experience all round! After visiting the Morse Bar in the Randolph Hotel on Christmas Eve, I watched an old episode of 'Inspector Morse' yesterday with renewed interest!

Well organised tour with a lot packed in, although would have preferred a later start on New Year’s Day for the walking tour of York, 9am was a little early after being up late the night before. Sarah the tour leader worked hard to make sure everyone had a lovely time. It was a large group (20) but everyone got on really well and I met some lovely people. I would recommend this tour.

Christmas and New Year in Malta
Our 'Tour Director' met us at check in and so the adventure began. A larger group than usual but like a shepherd, he guided those that needed help and soon knew the 'confident' travellers. The hotel was well appointed and any queries were dealt with efficiently.
The trips/ excursions were well chosen. Malta has so much history and beautiful buildings. Our Director was always nearby, gathering the stragglers where needed. Even a 'lost' person was quickly found with our local guide and director having excellent knowledge of the area and landmarks. The hotel Food was amazing, plentiful, varied and buffet style. Within 24 hours I knew I had to resist much or I would be charged for excess baggage on the way home!!! The hotels entertainment was varied, from soloist keyboards to the local Bag Pipe Band on Christmas and New Year....On the upper floors The bars offered good 'tunes' from Motown to Garage! This Group was varied in age from early 60s to a valiant 88 year young! If one wanted to be independent, that's OK. If you were on your first trip, you are made most welcome. Naturally smaller groups within the main group happen, but no one is alone. The downside of the trip - It came to an end! Our Tour Director went above and beyond his job description, as a few of 'his flock' came down with a bug. Daily, he made trips to the dispensary or minimarkets to obtain treats or salves for them...To ensure they were travel ready for a return to a damp and cold UK ! Farewells around the luggage carousal were heartfelt and then the scattering to various homes to rebook or look for the next trip out!

Excellent service, fantastic Guide, food and excursions

Package was varied and tour director could not do enough. Hotel very comfortable and loved the walking tour on Christmas morning. Racing on Boxing Day was great. Food also good. Thoroughly enjoyed the break.

A very well organised and enjoyable Just You Christmas holiday to Malta, from the oompah welcoming band at the beginning to the informative tour around Gozo, including the fun boat trip around the coast. The Christmas carol playing pipe band was a nice touch, the buffets offered a wide choice and entertainment was laid on every evening. View from the hotel roof top was spectacular and appreciated the sea front walk on Xmas day.
