The communication was good as well as the actual motorbike. No pre-order, we just went to their office in Barcelona. Eveything was fine. I asked them why they have such bad rating on all platforms. They told me that people often don't understand that it takes up to 10 business days, from the return of the motorbike, to return the deposit.

4 weeks after the return of the motorbike, we realised they are still holding our deposit! Any other rental company just blocks the amount on your card and with no further action, the bank will eventually release it. But this company simply deducts the money. So they actually need to proactively return it.

I was pretty harsh on them when I realised this. They immediately sent it back. But if I haven't noticed, they would keep my 500€.

Shame on you! This is not mistake, but systematic scam!

Lo reserve a traves de DoyouSpain y ha sido lo peor que he podido hacer.
En el correo de Doyouspain decian q mismo dia llamaramos a Jota Cafe race para informar el punto de recogida pero estuve toda la mañana llamando y por fin cuando consegui hablar con ellos le dijeron q me mandarian un WhatsApp con toda la información pero tive q llemar otra media docena de veces por q no me mandaban la info y ya estaba en el aeropuerto de Ibiza y todavia sin moto.
Despues de resolver todo esto te mandan un enlace para que rellenes e ingreses 200€ de deposito y al hacerlo les mandas el justificante y te dan un codigo para abrir el candado q contiene la llave por q en ningun momento te atienden en persona sino q tienes q ir a un parking q esta ahi la moto.
Despues te dicen q la moto tiene un segundo casco, un baul y un soporte del movil y q esos son extras y q tienes q pagar 20€. Una autentica verguenza por que yo no le pedi nada de eso y te lo meten por q les da la gana.
La moto es una marca china y no la que habias elegido en DoyoSpain y iba fatal, la rueda delantera vibraba y tenias q sujetar fuerte el manillar.
Bueno pues no contento con todo eso y encima te das cuenta q el deposito no es como el resto de las compañias serias que te retienen el dinero sino q estos ladrones te lo cobran y te dicen q si todo esta bien te devuelven a 10 dias laborables que no cumplen ni con las fechas esas.
Vamos q una joya de empresa, no se como DoyouSpain puede trabajar con estos.

Resulta q justo despues de esta reseña me han escrito para decir q mi deposito de 200€ va a seguir retenido por hacer la reseña mala..

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. ZERO assistance, NO support whatsoever, and completely unreachable when you need help. Deeply unprofessional and totally unreliable. They disappear when things go wrong and take no responsibility at all. I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from this company – it's a nightmare. Avoid it like the plague!

Tutto è andato malissimo. Le comunicazioni con loro sono praticamente impossibili: ti dicono “sì sì” e poi devi chiamare decine di volte per essere preso in considerazione. Un vero parto!
Mi hanno fatto pagare il pickup all’aeroporto, ma quando sono arrivata la mia moto non c’era. Mi hanno fatto guidare 30 minuti per prendere un’altra moto.

Al momento della restituzione mi hanno scritto che tutto era OK, ma dopo 20 giorni che non ricevevo il refund di 300€, mi hanno inventato la scusa di una ruota bucata (impossibile) e mi hanno trattenuto 65€.
Sono incompetenti, disonesti e disorganizzati, usano i soldi dei refund per rifarsi le moto nuove. UNO SCANDALO. Se potete, affittate altrove: scappate.

Alquilamos una moto con Jota cafe Motor Mallorca a través de Doyouspain y la experiencia ha sido totalmente negativa.

A los 3 días por autovía, la moto comenzó a tambalearse peligrosamente. Al parar comprobamos que la rueda trasera tenía una raja y una mecha de un pinchazo previo mal reparado (se limitan a poner la mecha sin aplicar la malla interior que garantiza la seguridad). Es decir, nos entregaron una moto con una reparación deficiente y peligrosa.

Tras llamar al servicio, nos cobraron 65 € por el traslado puesto que no estaba contratado y, además, nos exigieron 85 € por una supuesta llanta dañada, importe que abonamos en el momento, sin presentarnos nunca factura alguna.

Pasados más de 10 días hábiles, se niegan a devolver la fianza de 300 €, alegando nuevamente el coste de la llanta… una llanta que ya habíamos pagado.

La empresa no responde al teléfono ni a correos, y Doyouspain, como intermediario, tampoco ha ofrecido ninguna solución pese a la disputa abierta.

Hemos tenido que iniciar reclamación por la vía administrativa en Consumo, porque lo que hacen es un abuso, falta de transparencia y una estafa encubierta.

No recomiendo bajo ningún concepto alquilar con Jota Motor Mallorca. La seguridad, la atención y la seriedad brillan por su ausencia.

Der Scooter war in einem sehr schlechten und dreckigen Zustand. Die Reifen waren platt und der Stoßdämpfer vorne defekt. Und extrem verstaubt und dreckig von den Straßen. Die Kommunikation fand nur über WhatsApp statt und war teilweise nicht sehr freundlich. Vor allem bei der Rückgabe musste man allen Antworten hinterherlaufen und wir warteten viel länger als angegeben auf die Kautions-Rückzahlung. Letztendlich war der ganze Aufwand 20,- € pro Woche günstiger als bei lokalen Vermietern, dafür hatten wir aber viel mehr Bürokratie, Kommunikation, Bildersenden, etc... Für die kleine Ersparnis würde ich nie wieder bei Jota Cafe etwas mieten. Lieber persönlich mit jemanden sprechen und gute Erfahrung machen.

Buongiorno, ho prenotato una caffè race a Ibiza presso Jota cafè.....delle moto che vedete sul sito neanche l'ombra. Mi hanno consegnato un catorcio che neanche minimamente assomigliava ad una cafè race. A parte il lato estetico, le foto sono ingannatorie all'ennesima potenza, si è inchiodata 4 volte in mezzo alla strada rischiando di fare incidenti con le auto che mi seguivano. Disperato ho chiesto il cambio e dato che non c'erano alternative alla categoria pagata (non è vero nel piazzale ce ne erano semplicemente non me le hanno volute dare) mi sono dovuto accontentare di una scooter (odio gli scooter) 125cc pur di non andare in giro con quell'ammasso di ferraglia. Risultato primi 2 giorni su 4 rovinati per andare dietro ai problemi della "moto" e per il cambio con il fantastico scooter.
Nota sui caschi....sembrava un nido di topi, ribrezzo.
Nota positiva la ragazza al telefono era abbastanza gentile, ma attenzione perché non c'è nessun ufficio a cui rivolgersi, bisogna solo sperare che rispondano e sono stato fermo un ora in mezzo alla strada prima che abbiano risposto.
Per il tutto ho documentazione fotografica che qui non mi fanno caricare.
Aggiungo per correttezza che ci hanno messo 17 giorni lavorativi e non 10 come da regolamento ma alla fine la caparra di 500 euro (per quel catorcio che non ne vale neanche 50) è stata restituita.

Le recensioni precedenti dicono tutto... Ma io non le avevo viste. Questo noleggiatore è un truffatore che ti chiede soldi a caparra per garanzia che non ti restituirà mai, sia per contanti che per carta di credito. Io ho dovuto ricorrere alla polizia per aver ragione del raggiro e per fortuna ho recuperato 400 euro che aveva voluto per copertura di eventuali danni e multe. Il mezzo che mi aveva dato aveva freni inesistenti e difetti di stabilità. Nemmeno valeva quanto pagato per il noleggio

I rented a scooter from this company and was shocked by its terrible condition. The vehicle was extremely old, poorly maintained, and barely worked. It was unsafe and far from what was advertised. Customer service was unhelpful and did not offer a proper solution. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

AVOID at all cost. Motorbikes seems to be out of metal scrap place an forget about getting your deposit back.

I have the same problem with the deposit of 300€ .
They don’t want to give it back and they don’t answer on their phone number .
Avoid this company because they are not serious.

Terrible experience – avoid at all costs

I rented a BMW 1100 motorbike in May 2025 through DoYouSpain, managed by Jota Café in Ibiza. I waited before leaving this review because I wanted to write it as clearly and fairly as possible.

The rental was set up with a remote pickup at the airport. I was sent a WhatsApp video with instructions on how to disable the alarm and start the bike. I followed them step by step, but the bike wouldn't start. I contacted Jota Café for help – and that’s where the nightmare began.

Instead of offering support, they arrogantly blamed me, saying I didn’t know how to start the bike and warned that if they had to send someone, it would cost me €150. I even sent them videos showing I followed the procedure correctly – still, the bike didn’t start.

After 40 minutes wasted, I lost my patience and told them I would cancel the booking. Only then did they tell me I’d lose the entire rental fee because, according to them, “the bike works”.

I ended up renting a scooter just to get to my hotel, with the promise that they would give me a replacement bike the next day.

The next morning, they tried everything to stop me from going to their shop – coming up with pathetic excuses to avoid a face-to-face conversation. I went anyway.

There, I found a young guy, around 20, who started the usual act: claiming the bike worked, and that if I didn’t take another one, they’d deduct the rental fee from my €500 deposit.
At that point, feeling completely scammed, I called the police.

That finally changed their attitude – the guy called his boss, and they agreed to come with me to the airport to test the bike. Once there, they had to admit it: the bike didn’t start. I had been right all along.

Tired and just wanting to move on, I accepted a replacement Brixton bike, with the condition that I would return it to their shop in person so they could inspect it with me, avoiding any excuses to keep the deposit.

After the rental, I returned the bike as agreed. But even a month later, the €500 deposit hadn’t been refunded. Only after I followed up did they finally return it.

Bottom line: rude, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional.
Stay away from Jota Café.

ATENTION! SCAM! Don't rent with Jota Café! They don't return the deposit!!!

I booked through DoYouSpain.com and, when I arrived at the airport in Ibiza, Jota Cafe made me pay a €200 deposit in advance (the rental site didn't mention any of this). After I paid the deposit, they still refused to tell me where the key was, trying to force me to pay extra for the helmet box — even though I had booked a version without it.

After returning the scooter as instructed and sending photos (including the key left in the seat compartment), they kept inventing false reasons not to return my deposit — first claiming I didn’t leave the key, later saying a helmet was missing.

Over 20 messages later and a month later, I still haven’t received a refund for the deposit (legally they have to return in 10 business days). There are many other reviews online describing the same abusive behavior from this company. Please beware
