From modest beginnings in Enfield as a single store in 1971, Jollyes has now grown into one of the leading pet food superstores with over 100 locations across the UK alongside a market-leading position in Northern Ireland. From Perth to Plymouth, Newry to Norwich, at Jollyes customers can find anything for their pet, from pet food, pet toys and an array of pet accessories. Potty about puppies and crazy for cats, no matter what the animal, store colleagues are always on hand to help with anything from product advice, to picking the perfect pet and accessories. Many stores also run community clinics offering vaccinations and other advice from trained vets. And if one of Jollyes stores isn’t close by, there’s helpful advice on Jollyes website where you can ask the expert. Jollyes was named 2023 Pet Retail Chain of the Year at the Pet Industry Federation Awards and was named best retailer under £250m turnover in the 2024 Retail Week awards. My dog's favourite good Durhams - out of stock!
I have to make a special effort to shop at Jolley's as there are not that many branches around. I recently discovered my fussy dog really likes Durham's raw food, particularly the combined 1kg bag of turkey/lamb. The last time I bought this there was a deal buy 10 get 2 or 3 free and I remember joking with a member of staff that not many people have that amount of freezer space to buy that many bags. So I bought only 2 bags.
However, when I went back to obtain more last week there were no bags of Durhams at all, the freezer was empty. I was advised that Durhams is currently out of stock. It was really upsetting as the turkey/lamb raw mince is the only thing my dog likes and its hard to get him to eat anything else and now he hasn't eaten for 3 days. I wish I had been advised that this product was going to be out of stock and I would have indeed bought the 10 bag deal after all. It was disappointing not be be advised of this as this sort of event can really mess up a dog's diet.
