I started engaging Johns&Co for letting in May/June 2025. Lara has been very helpful, responsive & supportive to my tenancy requirements / expectations. 1 year on, still happy to make her my trusted primary contact for new tenancy. She made it again within a short turnaround time!!

Since coming to london i found renting super annoying and difficult , but as soon as i started renting with johns and co specially with the agent Lara Che Ah-heng which explained each step of the renting experience until receiving back my deposit she made sure that the client received the best outcome and thought like she was renting for herself

We had an excellent experience with Lara when she helped us move to Canary Wharf, and we are still incredibly grateful for her support today. Our landlord is based outside the UK, which added an additional layer of complexity to the tenancy, but Lara managed the process confidently and professionally, ensuring that communication between all parties remained clear and that the move progressed smoothly.

Our circumstances were also slightly more involved than a standard tenancy, as we were moving with an elderly family member and our two miniature long-haired Dachshunds. Lara handled this with a great deal of understanding and professionalism, making sure that the practical considerations were managed without making the process feel unnecessarily complicated.

Amazing service from the company, specially from Sami who was really supportive during the whole process making it to run smoothly

I first contacted them through Zoopla and WhatsApp on 23 July regarding a property. The process initially went very smoothly, and I quickly paid the holding deposit to secure the property. The service and communication were good at this stage.

However, about a week later, I was informed that the landlord had changed their mind and decided not to rent out the property. I was told that my holding deposit could be refunded.

Unfortunately, my experience changed completely once I requested the refund. The response time became much slower, and despite repeatedly contacting them, I was only told that the refund had been “actioned” or “sent”. However, the money still has not reached my account.

Today, I am still waiting for my holding deposit to be returned. I have been patient throughout the process, but there has been very little clear communication about where the money is or when I can actually expect to receive it.

It is extremely disappointing that the service was good when they were trying to secure the tenancy, but became so slow and unhelpful once a refund was required. I understand that refunds may take some time to process, but customers deserve clear communication and a reasonable explanation when there are delays.

Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing rental experience. I sincerely hope JOHNS&CO can improve their refund process and communication with tenants.

Johns and Co can find me a new tenant within a short time. Especially Rayan and his team are very responsive and helpful in dealing with my requests. Good experience so far.
