My property manager Chay is always helpful and professional in dealing with my rental matters of my property. Her immediate response to my concerns every time which impressed me most.

My experience renting a flat from Johns&Co was the worst I have had in London. The lettings agents are friendly and helpful as you'd expect, but as soon as you sign the paperwork and get passed on to property management you're on your own. From the bathroom mirror falling off the wall and requiring six months of constant chasing to get replaced (after them trying to place the blame on us), to three weeks of chasing to get the agreed deposit amount returned, which was supposed to be returned within 5 working days, it was a nightmare.

To get hold of our property manager, Princess, was nearly impossible, as she would never answer the phone or respond to emails - until I reach out to her management and suddenly she is all over it, albeit with no apology or remorse. Twice I had to contact the Director of Management Services directly because I was at a dead end. I would not get proactive updates about repairs, and instead had to chase weekly, if I was lucky enough to get a response.

Multiple missed commitments for repairs resulted in me taking days off of work for nobody to show up, and sloppy handiwork from their budget contractors meant that the mirror had to be fully replaced twice during our short tenancy, as well as most other repairs requiring multiple visits because they did not have the skills or items required to complete the repair (if they had even been told what they were coming to work on...)

I strongly recommend that you steer clear of this agency and look to rent directly unless you enjoy giving your money to people that couldn't care less about your wellbeing.

Johns&Co were a great help in finding me my new flat, Miyah and Bethel helped me find and arrange my new place - I was especially grateful for how proactive (but not pushy) Bethel was when the first place I viewed didn't work out.

I had a great experience working with Andrew Tonge while searching for a flat in Canary Wharf. He was extremely helpful throughout the whole process — from helping me find a suitable property to securing it at a reasonable price.

We rented an apartment through Johns & Co at approximately £5,500 per month, with our tenancy handled by Ralph. Unfortunately, the start of the tenancy was extremely disappointing and far below the standard one would reasonably expect at this price level.

During the first week we encountered a number of serious issues. The property had not been properly prepared at move-in, the fire alarms were not functioning initially, and a malfunctioning door lock resulted in my mother being unable to exit the property for an extended period.

In addition, we experienced no heating for around five days, no hot water or proper shower for approximately six days, and the fridge remained non-functional for more than a week, meaning we were unable to store food. There were also other faults including leaks and malfunctioning appliances.

What was particularly concerning was the slow response to these issues. Despite the number of problems, no one from the agency attended the property to assess the situation in person, and communication largely consisted of messages while repairs were arranged gradually over time.

While some issues were eventually addressed, the overall experience during the first week of the tenancy caused significant disruption and was not consistent with the expectations for a property marketed as a premium apartment

I would like to say that I truly appreciate the excellent work done by Johns&Co. The staff and communication are outstanding.

I would especially like to thank Silvia and Victoria — both are fantastic people who are doing a great job and have been extremely helpful.

Since I moved in, whenever there has been any issue, Ambrose has always responded promptly with the right solution and excellent communication.

Good communication and professional approach

Ralph Mansfield is a highly professional agent who has a goal and is willing to work with him at any time, whether it's late evening or a weekend. He strives to get the job done. Unfortunately, we didn't sign a contract because the landlord decided to manipulate the price and payment, forcing us to take a break and subsequently choose another option with more stable terms. Ralph was in touch with us every day. After four years of working with Johns&Co, I've never encountered such a dedicated agent who strives to win clients and make everything as comfortable as possible.

When I first moved into my flat managed by Johns&Co in London, there were several repairs pending that needed attention. The property manager initially assigned to me started off handling the situation reasonably well. However, as time went on, communication became increasingly slow. Responses took longer and longer, and eventually I stopped receiving replies altogether and was essentially ghosted.

After contacting the agents through Fixflo, I was informed that my property manager had been changed to Sam El Jani. From that moment, the experience improved dramatically. Sam handled the situation quickly and professionally. We had regular check-ins and updates, sometimes up to three times a day, which made the process transparent and reassuring.

Issues that the previous property manager had not been able to resolve in over a month were solved by Sam within a single week. While the service from the previous agent was extremely unprofessional, the support and efficiency from Sam El Jani were outstanding — truly an 11/10 experience.
