FROM HIS FIRST PIECE , made from broken vintage items found at London’s Portobello Market, Jianhui has been creating versatile sustainable fashion from recycled and upcycled materials for almost two decades. His hand crafted wearable art is loved not only by style icons such as Iris Apfel and celebrities like Lily Tomlin, Dame Prue Leith but also prestigious art museums such as MoMa, Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and Museum of Art and Design in NYC runs a special exhibition for Jianhui’s sustainable designs on Earth Day every year. Sustainability is not a trend, but a mission to use resources well and help make our planet greener. This belief is central to everything he does, with his recycled leather collection winning a sustainability award at the NY Now show and his ‘Aqua’ collection being made entirely by hand from recycled plastic bottles and newspapers. Jianhui’s designs and the way he recycles materials have been used as examples in Smithsonian’s text book about climate and sustainability for its worldwide youth education. Jianhui has also been invited for a talk at the Climate School of Columbia University during the Climate Week in 2023. And above all, his designs are flamboyant, playful and simply JUST BEAUTIFUL.

Everything was wonderful

Everything was wonderful! First, your display of the jewelry is beautiful--it makes me want to buy it all! Then, the purchasing was easy. Then, when there was going to be a delay, Jianhui himself contacted me to let me know and asked if the delay would be a problem. When the jewelry arrived, it was safely wrapped and packed, and just as beautiful as I imagined. Wonderful!

fix myself

I find the different objects very interesting and the design is amazing as the material used. However, I was so disappointed that, of the two pairs of earrings that I bought, one in a pair was turned around. I couldn’t use them before fixing this myself.

Dear Natalie,
So sorry to hear that you are disappointed by the pattern of the jacket. Unfortunately because it's made from recycled offcuts, no 2 jackets are the same.
In the future, we shall contact you in advance and show you the piece we are going to send you.
The jacket you received was the last piece we had in stock.

I have not received my order and it’s the 16th of September. Please advise.

I'm so sorry to hear about this.

We shipped your order on the 29th August with Royal Mail standard service (as you requested) and sent you a notification afterwards.

Have you checked with your doorman or neighbour? Just in case your local USPS people may have left your parcel in any of these places, it happened before with a customer from the US. Sometimes people work at the lobby may have misplaced the parcel in a corner or underneath a desk.

So far in our 5 years online retail history (since the pandemic), no parcel has lost yet. We have been doing wholesale business for over 20 years and no orders have lost. In US alone, we have retail stores all over the country. We have 4 customers in Chicago including Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.

In any case, if your parcel gets lost or hasn't arrived for a long time, we'd appreciate if you could contact us first. Rather than putting a 1-star review here for something that was out of our control. We always try our very best to give our customers the best service. If you have time, you will know more about our designs and service from other customers' reviews here.

Anyway in any case if your post won't be delivered by the end of Sept., we shall re-send you the pieces from Chicago at the end of this month Because we are going to do a trunk show in Chicago from the 26-28 Sept. We may have the item in our trunk show boxes. I hope that's OK?

In the future, if you would like to order anything from us, I'd advice you to choose UPS Express service because your local USPS service may not be that good. When things like this happen, it's more likely caused by USPS.
