If I could give lower I would! As other reviews state, I really wish I had done more research prior to engaging JG pest control. Initial reviews read positively so we were really disappointed with the service we received.

We were given bad advice which we later found out would have led to more issues and had to employ another pest control company to actually fix the issue.

We contacted JG pest control and were initially unsure what was causing the issue but knew we had some wildlife in the loft. We were assured that the initial inspection fee would be taken off any treatment fee, which they later reneged on. I later saw squirrels in the roof, which we advised JG and asked for our file to be updated to reflect this. The gentleman who came to inspect told us there were no signs of squirrels despite us seeing them. He also said there was too much insulation in the loft to get a trap near the site of entry and advised we just close the gap in the roof to sort the issue. Thank goodness we didn’t listen as we have since been advised that this would cause more damage as mothers try to get to their babies. We raised this issue and did not get a helpful response. We have since employed another pest control company who have caught 5 squirrels in the loft and have provided a much better service.

After multiple emails, JG have finally agreed to give us a partial refund, which does not cover half of the fee for the other pest control company. They also charged us a call our fee which we were not told about and again refused to take the survey fee off the price of the treatment as initially promised.

Stay clear and use someone else!

I wouldnt recommend. What they advertise on the phone isn't what's emailed after payment. First visit they come out straight away and then you cant get anyone back. Had to wait 4 days for second visit even though we can see further damage from the mice and lots of activity. Cancelled the appointment on the day at 6am. Form doesn't work and states they require evidence to get them back out for follow up visit. I have the evidence and the form doesn't work. I phoned them to be referred to a voice bot with lots of fake chatter in the background, insulting. We're going to seek advice from citizens advice. Please dont waste your money on this company. I wish we'd have seen the reviews before we booked.

Appalling service – an AI booking agency, not a pest control provider
​It has become painfully clear that JG functions more as an AI-reliant booking and sorting company rather than a dedicated, reliable pest control provider. Their operations seem entirely dependent on automated bots and disconnected systems rather than delivering actual on-the-ground service.

​The support channels are useless—the AI chatbot and recorded messages provide no solutions, and the customer service staff are unengaged, disinterested, and uninformed. Most recently, I was assured three times in one day that I was the next job and to expect someone within 30 minutes. No one ever arrived, and no one notified me of the cancellation.
​Having to take time off work three times at my own personal expense for a premium service that failed to materialize is completely unacceptable. Avoid.

Truly awful communication. Waited in from 08:00 till 14:00 as advised - contacted office at 15:00 and told nobody would be coming. I will NEVER use this company again. The individual employees are polite and able - the system in which they are forced to operate, however, is not fit for purpose - including method of use of AI

Have used this company before with good results on this occasion not so. We have a wasps nest in the eaves. 2 technicians have attended so far. The wasps have reduced but not gone. However the technicians have sprayed from ground level and leaving powder all down the side of the house and all over the bbq. Not good but phoning today could only converse with a bot. Final straw.

Good service from JG Pest Control. Alex came to the property on time to inspect the affected areas. He was able to apply some solutions right away. As well as providing some advice on how to protect the property moving forward.

My experience with JG Pest Control was extremely disappointing. I used this company expecting a professional, reliable bed bug removal service, but instead I was left feeling frustrated and let down.

My main concerns include:

- Unexpected additional costs: Extra charges were introduced on the day of the appointment, which I had not been clearly informed about beforehand.
- Misinformation: The information I was given before and during the service did not match, leaving me questioning the accuracy of what I had been told.
- Lack of protective wear: I was concerned by the lack of appropriate protective clothing during the treatment. I expected a professional pest control company to demonstrate suitable safety precautions.
- Online reviews: Having seen the overwhelmingly positive reviews advertised by JG Pest Control, I had certain expectations about the service I would receive. My experience was very different. I am concerned about whether the positive reviews give potential customers a complete picture of the experiences people have had.

I have since come across other critical customer reviews raising concerns about pricing, treatment outcomes and customer service. These concerns make me feel that prospective customers should carry out their own research and ask detailed questions before committing to a treatment.

I cannot personally verify whether any reviews are fake, but I believe customers deserve genuine, transparent feedback and clear information about the service and its total cost.

Overall, I felt that the service was unprofessional and that I was not given the transparency I expected. I would strongly advise anyone considering JG Pest Control to confirm all pricing, treatment details, potential additional costs and safety procedures in writing before agreeing to the work.

Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

Services is very good

Very professional, in their approach to the job. Explained what they would do and how they would tackle the situation. Keep me informed during the operation and completed an outside survey of the property.
