( I didn’t realise I couldn’t include pics which was the whole point of making this review as it may be to your liking, message me @ Ch9nelx TT for images before buying jeans either extra hem from this brand) I’m honestly sad to be making this review. Firstly customer service great jeans were running a few days late but reached out and got replies quick, there is no point reaching out with this problem after receiving the Jean as I know there is no chance of reconciliation as the jeans are “made to measure”

I’m all my 27 years of life I’m STILL on the hunt for a brand that caters to tall girl with a cool streetwear aesthetic and to be honest just everyday vintage wash denim, I want to love jeans again. I guess £230 worth of denim still isn’t enough to achieve this, I was prepared to love and have to splurge on more colours and styles, thankfully I started small.
My customisation doesn’t match the image, I did loot to remove the slash under the bum but my waist band is more hacked at than the pic and the back isn’t the same I’m not mad at it it’s just not like that pics, there should be more pics of the denim close up and there should Definitely be the worst case scenario of the jeans aka if your tall and will need extra hem as they don’t just cut the inseam directly to match your hem, it will look like this kind of thing.

The design is cute, but I wouldn’t say I made to measure, I understand companies like to get as much pairs / items from fabric so that’s why alot it places don’t really make inseams over 30 tall sections are few and far between apparently we don’t deserve to be catered for and look stylish, in 2026 what a shame. Anyway as stated extra hem would be added to achieve the longer inseam length, that’s perfectly fine had I known it would CHEAPEN the look and look like stacked jeggings I would have just appreciated that’s it’s another one for the short girlies and moved on however there is no visual representation of how this is going to look as the model is usually super short. I just thought that they would cut longer pieces on denim and just kept the hem undone for the price but honestly it’s a shambles it’s a shame I mean u guess I’ll have a £225 of jorts for the summer as there’s just no way with how it’s dyed and the stacking to make it look pretty. I don’t want to bleach and ruin the jean but I also can’t return so yeah cutting my losses at a pair of jorts. I’m upset that you can’t leave direct reviews under the Jean you brought to show the next hopeful buyer that it’s not what you think its going to look like if your over 5ft7 potentially but hopefully they will stumble across this and I’ll try and get round to post a tik tok to raise awareness. & if anyone knows any inclusive brands with badass jeans please let me know @ Ch9nelx on TT thankyou

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Purchased a size small top, the measurements told me to get a size small. I’m flat chested and petite, the model in the photo had large breast and was wider than me wearing a small. It came and it’s SOOO SMALL, couldn’t barely put it on. They kept refusing my return request so I paid and returned it myself. They are now saying I can only have store credit as it’s ‘shapewear’ it’s not it’s literally a crop top. I will have to take this up with me bank there’s no way I want to purchase anything else through their website so I do not want store credit I want my money back.

I wish i ve seen these reviews before ordering. I ordered made-to-order jeans and I carefully the measuring guidance shown on their own social media how to measure, selected my size accordingly, and even contacted them immediately after ordering to adjust the waist measurement from 36" to 35", which they confirmed.

When the jeans arrived, they were visibly far too loose at the waist - to the point where they would need tailoring, completely defeating the purpose of ordering custom/made-to-order jeans in the first place. It was 37”based on the method they advertise.

What followed was an exhausting back-and-forth where they repeatedly shifted the argument around measurement methods instead of addressing the actual issue. Their public measuring guidance shows one method for customers to choose sizing, but once there was a fit problem, they insisted on a completely different internal measurement standard which is not even written anywhere and used that to say the jeans were “correct.”

Even after I provided photos, body measurements, and explained exactly how I arrived at my sizing using their own instructions, the final response was essentially: the jeans match our spec, go pay a tailor £10–15 to fix them yourself.

Let alone the colour didnt match what i ordered and the ‘remakes’ and ‘fixes’ were awful which they never mention. Pockets had holes so they didnt even bother. By far the worst experience

Disappointed the jeans came with a huge Casey Jean label. I got a custom pair of Levi’s and you could see very obvious repairs. Nothing like what they had advertised.

Not worth the money

Really happy with my experience! What lovely people behind the company! The team were so quick and attentive with their emails, and I felt well looked after throughout the process. My vintage jeans are perfect and I absolutely love them. Great customer service and amazing quality.

I purchased a pair of ready-to-wear jeans directly from Jean Vintage via their website. I attempted to return the item within the 14-day legal cooling-off period that applies to online purchases under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To my surprise, Jean Vintage refused to issue a refund and instead insisted I could only receive store credit — a policy that is not only poor practice, but in clear breach of UK consumer law.

I attempted to resolve this with the brand directly, but they remained dismissive and uncooperative. I then took them to small claims court to recover the funds and of course as per the law I received my full refund.

Don’t let these entitled companies try and break the law and rob your of your hard earned money!

Horrible customer service. I ordered a vintage bag from them and it wasn't as described. I understand that you can't picture every single imperfection a vintage item has, but notable defects should be at least listed in the description.

Sold a bag to them. It was easy and quick. Simply sent a message about the bag and received a quote. Sent the bag to them and received the money shorty after. Would definitely use them again.
