I'm always very impressed with the selection of bags on Break Archive. It's literally the Cave of Wonders, where you will find timeless pieces and rare editions. I got to meet the team in person and they are also very nice and helpful.

I ordered my bag on a Wednesday and the bag was with me on Thusday!!! I am thrilled with this very quick delivery. The pictures on the website are good quality but I was frustrated that I couldn't zoom on the detail pictures for some reason. That would be a great improving point for Break Archive. Otherwise I'm extreemely happy with my purchase, the bag which is from 1999 is in incredibly good conditions for a 27 year-old bag, I also got to see it on their social media which allowed me to check it from all angles, via video too. I would definitely recommend this store to all vintage lovers.

I would not recommend this company at all.

I purchased one of my dream bags from them, an LV Miroir Alma GM, for £1,200, and it arrived with significant issues that had not been disclosed anywhere in the listing, photos, videos or conversations beforehand.

There were pink stains on the handles, but more seriously, the handles had clearly been poorly refinished with a silver metallic, paint/nail-polish-like substance that is tacky, causes the handles to stick together and transfers onto my fingers. At no point was it disclosed that the bag had been refinished or altered in any way.

Anyone familiar with pre-loved designer items should understand that refinishing can significantly affect an item’s condition and resale value, which makes the lack of disclosure even more concerning coming from a second-hand designer retailer.

When I raised this, they acknowledged the undisclosed staining but completely ignored the refinished handles. Despite the bag having been altered in a way that was never disclosed, they initially stood by their policy of store credit only and offered a small partial refund instead. It was only after I said I would be leaving an honest review that they suddenly offered a full cash refund.

By that point, I no longer felt comfortable returning the bag directly and trusting that the refund would actually be processed, so I have chosen to go through PayPal instead which they are also refusing.

For me, the biggest issue is the lack of transparency. Had I not known enough about designer bags to recognise that the handles had been refinished, and badly at that, I could easily have accepted the bag without realising that a significant alteration had been made to it.

People are spending their hard-earned money, and it is incredibly disappointing when making a sale appears to matter more than being transparent about an item’s true condition.

To add insult to injury, the paperwork supplied with the bag states that it was checked and signed off by the owner, Gabriel, before being sent out. That makes it even more concerning that a bag with such obvious undisclosed alterations and condition issues was approved for sale and dispatched in this state.

I will continue to update this review to reflect any further developments and how the matter is ultimately resolved.

I have purchased several times. Very happy with the company.the other bags I bought were absolutely perfect and as expected and bags arrive nicely packaged, protected with dust bags etc… The bag I bought this time is not exactly in the condition I expected. It shows more wear. It would be very helpful if you could zoom in on extra pictures of the bags. I might not have bought this one if I could have seen the wear better.

I ordered a vintage Louis Vuitton bag and it was perfect. The quality is amazing and I love how transparent they are about any signs of wear and damage. Will definitely order again

I went to the popup in London this past weekend and had a really wonderful experience. The setup was really cute and both Gabriel and Nic were very welcoming. I didn't expect to buy anything before I went in but fell in love with a bag in pristine condition! It was my first vintage purchase and I have no regrets. Their price point is also so much better compared with other luxury vintage resellers.

Bag was exactly as described and included multiple extras! the preordering process was very simple and the customer service was A**. Paid extra for shipping but was absolutely worth it considering it came next day. Lovely business, would definitely consider buying from again!❤️

My item arrived promptly and as more perfect than even shown on the website. It has been a dream buy for years so it was a miracle to find on break archive. However, having to pay 20% of the item cost in duties to the US was not ideal.
