Absolute rubbish!! I haven't watched for a long time as ITV hub was useless. Have given another try tonight with ITVX and it is even worse! It kept freezing up and going to a blank page and then you have to reset and then lose your place. (If it plays at all) There is some good content but impossible to watch. No point bothering. Worse app ever. ITVX you're a disgrace! Sort it out!

I have this on various platforms and the just doesn't work. Reset, uninstall, reinstall etc. Fire Stick - NO. Apple TV 4K - NO. Samsung TV - NO. Fire Cube - NO. All my other apps work. ITV X is simply not worth bothering with, unless you enjoy endless frustration.

Forced to watch 5 minutes of adverts before being able to watch a program is cynical at best. I get you need to maximise revenue and that by creating a terrible experience on the free version you are forcing people into subscribing but you should know: 1. Most people will go off and do something else while the ads are on (or scroll on their phones). 2. When people are already paying for multiple streaming services that have a superior output, so why would they add another?

Cuts off partway through The Chase. It is repeatedly doing this so I will have to give up on it. It is nice to be able to watch from start if I'm a bit late to the start but so disappointing when you can't see the outcome

Utter garbage, flaky software that just doesn't work well. How this has been released as production software is shocking. It's like it's been cobbled together and never tested.

After completing this review I’m deleting this useless frustrating app. Worse streaming platform ever! Frequently half way through a programme and crashes. Does not happen with any other app and i have seven of them. Don’t waste your time and effort. USELESS

Never have i experienced anything like it ! To many adverts and keeps freezing I’m having to sit in the dark watching a black screen! So annoying I give up never watching a tv series on this again !

Absolute worse streaming platform EVER!! Try an watch something via live stream option and it will cut out, go to a blank screen, which you then need to reset the app ect so you end up missing alot of the programmes. You then wait for the show to come on catch up an can sometimes take hours, but then you have the same problem NON STOP cutting out/crashing ect truly awful. Ive tried it on all sorts of platforms, tv app, fire stick, laptop, mobile different wifis ect same problem. No other streaming app is anywhere near that bad!! Really puts you off even bothering with itv!!!

ITV X is shocking in the amount of advets it shows before you can watch a movie, appreciate it a freeview, but 20mins of adds to watch a movie is too much, could not recommend ..

I really do question what iTV were thinking when they commissioned ITVX it’s the worst streaming tv ever. It takes too long to upload, the screen spends half its time blank. You can pause but you can’t fast forward through awful ads. The ITV top dogs are sitting there ‘cheering themselves with champagne’ whilst the viewers are wasting their time. SHAME ON YOU ITV. Shame on you for producing a really bad service. Unbelievable - but yes it’s true.

I am very hard of hearing. Then my shows on Virgin brought up War of The World's series. So excited to watch it BUT turned it on and NO subtitles total discrimination So no can't watch it.

Why don’t the ITVX read the reviews and do something about Improving the service.
The ads are one thing but the constant crashing, whirring, blank screens are something else. Then you have to go out of it, then load it up again… another 10 minutes. Sssoo painful

Doesn, t even deserve 1 *. So frustrating. It has taken me 25mins to get into it. Very slow, reverts back to TV programme. Took 7 attempts to actually get my chosen programme

The actual programmes are good some are exceptionally good. The problem is the actual app does not behave like other streaming apps, continually stuttering or stopping completely for a short time. I have fast broadband 150Mbp/s so it's not that and non of my other services have the same problem. There are far too many adds, I understand they want you to go add free, but no way would I pay for the service the way it is, Britbox was better, Cheap and nasty.

Literally the worst TV app ever -trying to watch a new drama series but just stuck in an endless loop of hours and hours of adverts. Horrific.

One star.....this is very, very generous! No choice.

There some great programmes I'd love to watch, but.....

There are way,way too many adverts, I actually counted at least 7/8 in an ad break ( is that to encourage one to buy ad free or premium?....not likely )

It is EXTREMELY frustrating when trying to enjoy a programme, to the point when you have to change the channel and watch something else...usually to the reliable Netflix.

It's too slow, the channel freezes, there is continued buffering and as mentioned previously the programme is interrupted by too many ads.
When an advert is about to start or finish the screen goes blank and you have to reload the channel......annoying, paticularly in this day of modern technology.

When was this channel launched??? And still poor viewing!?

The other catch up channels are much more slick, and I have no issues viewing these channels or streaming platforms. Take note ITV !!

Does ITV even look at the reviews or even care?

ITV X is absolutely crap. I have never seen so many adds interrupting a program especially gambling adds

WAY TOOOOO MANY ADS.
YOU START TO WATCH A SERIES AND HAVE A REDICOLOUS AMOUNT OF ADS BEFORE WATCHING WHAT YOU INTENDED TO WATCH. THEN THE BAD THING IS YOU GET A REDICOLOUS AMOUNT OF ADS AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES INTO THE SERIES AND THIS IS FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER REDICOLOUS AMOUNT OF ADS 5 MINUTES LATER. YOUR VIEWING IS SERIOUSLY RUINED BY CONSTANT AD INTERUPTIONS. REDICOLOUS TV CHANNEL. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ITV X AS IT ALSO CRASHES REGULARLY AS WELL. CERTAINLY WOULDN'T SPEND ANY MONEY ON THIS SILLY CHANNEL THAT'S FOR SURE.

Absolutely dreadful.
Trying to watch is impossible. Just get the swirling loading thing. This doe not happen on any other streaming channels so nothing to do with my Internet connection.
