Sent us what must have an ex-display fireplace which needed parts to be assembled. Have visited them a few times and told it would be dealt with. Wrong! Totally ignored complaint and didn't reply to letters so now we're taking them to court. Avoid this company!

I visited It’s Simply Furniture today in Hillingdon Road.
When we arrived we were greeted by Bernie.
Bernie was so helpful in showing us around and giving us ideas with the space and details we told him about the home.
Even providing us with a measuring table and measurements of items. In the end we chose two beautiful pieces.
The service thoughout was very good. Bernie was so helpful in assisting and giving us much product detail as possible before arranging payment and delivery. I would highly recommend this store.

Don’t go near them. My sofa was delivered on the 18/04 and the installers made a video saying it was a disgrace I.E sections of the sofa were different colour and the whole thing was misaligned. They sent the video to the whole of the company management team. Worst part was it was not the sofa were ordered.
We contacted them immediately and were put off for 5 days before anyone would speak with us. When finally we spoke to a sales agent he said a member of the management team would contact us. That was the last we heard.
At the advice of Consumer Advice Scotland they asked me to send them an email stipulating the issues. They did not respond. Sent a recorded letter offering an Advance resolution dispute. Guess they never responded. Sent another letter as a final letter before court action. Guess no response.
My Visa company stepped in and submitted a charge back.They challenged the charge back and in their statement to Visa told so many untruths you would not believe it. They finally relented and now after 6 months have agreed to come and take the sofa away. I suggested to them to donate it to a charity, but they were having non of it.
If I could give them a zero rating I would. I hope this review helps other people not to make the mistake in using this company.

I would give them no stars if I could.

DON'T BUY FROM THE CHARLATANS FROM ANY OF THEIR STORES.

My recliner has been left in an upright position for more than a month and when you do get someone all you get is "OF course we will fix it " and guess what shock, horror, amazement absolutely nothing.

By the way this is less than a year old suite. So don't waste your money.

1 Star – Very disappointing customer service

I purchased a fully assembled chest of drawers from It's Simply Furniture. When it was delivered, the top drawer was catching and would not open and close smoothly.

I contacted the company and provided a video clearly showing the problem. They reviewed the video and confirmed that the drawer required an adjustment. However, they refused to carry out the adjustment unless I paid an additional £40, because I had selected their "delivery only" option rather than their optional assembly service.

The issue is that I did not assemble the furniture myself. It was delivered fully assembled and the drawer was not functioning correctly from the outset. I therefore did not consider it reasonable to pay an additional £40 to rectify a problem that was present when the furniture was delivered.

I explained my position to the company and referred to my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but they maintained that the £40 charge applied.

I have now had to raise a formal dispute with my card issuer.

The £40 itself is relatively insignificant; what is disappointing is the principle and the customer service. I would have expected a retailer to resolve a straightforward issue with a newly delivered item rather than charge the customer to make it work properly.

Based on my experience, I would be cautious about purchasing from this company if after-sales service is important to you.

Recently, I bought a corner sofa. Everything was smooth until it got delivered. So the delivery company recklessly decided not to take the boxes with them after sofa installation. When I contacted the owner of the business, he just ignored that as it wasn't exist. It seems to me for him it's "by ones and don't come back". Because for such cases he could simply say "sorry about what they did, this isn't supposed to happen" but he just ignored this so bunch of carton boards outside my house. Too bad.

Very poor customer service and communication after purchasing the goods.
The furniture was delivered unboxed, no instructions and when switching it on was faulty. Contact number called several times, no answer,just answering machine. Message left on each occasion. No return call!!!!
Return trip back to the warehouse - 25- 30mins from home. Was promised replacement within the week. No delivery. Returned again to warehouse for a 2nd time and same promise again for delivery on the Thursday and a discount for the inconvience. No delivery on the Thursday but replacement goods were delivered on the Friday and no discount received.
I would not recommend this company unless you live nearby and want the inconvience due to:
1. You cannot contact them via telephone
2. Not reliable as took 2 further visits before situation was resolved
