Changing all our internal doors
My wife and I are embarking on a project to change all our internal doors. We booked a visit to the showroom and met one of the sales team there, William James. William was helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Subsequently, we had a variety of questions as we developed our order and received queries from our intended carpenter. William happily dealt with all this and provided a good and professional feel for the ordering experience. Now we're hoping everything else will match that.

Super customer service
I needed two doors to be delivered asap. Lily was incredibly helpful in locating the doors we already have at home, which we bought a few years ago and organising a swifter way of delivery. Cannot fault the customer service 10/10. It’s our “Go to” website and company for internal doors. We’ve bought 13 doors from them over the years and couldn’t be happier. Thanks again Lily.

Doors arrived damaged
Doors arrived damaged. All 4 doors that we purchased for nearly £700 all arrived in cardboard packaging which mostly looked intact and secure. I signed for the delivery and 4 days later the carpenters arrived to hand the doors. Upon opening the packaging the carpenters told me of significant damage to all the doors. The doors weigh roughly 35Kg and I am unable to fully lift and check all the doors leaving my trust in internal doors to deliver a sound product. I made internal doors aware of the issue I have and attatched many photos showcasing the extent of the damage. I was batted away with short email saying if not checked and informed of within 48 hours of delivery they cannot help at all. For a person unable to lift and check the doors until trades people arrive I find that it is a tough and unfair rule for all. I have been offered no compensation for even an offer to replace any of the doors.

However, as outlined in our terms and conditions, we do request that any issues or damages be reported within 48 hours of receipt to ensure that we can address them promptly and efficiently. This policy is in place to help us quickly resolve any issues related to transit or manufacturing.
We advise that goods are to be checked over within 48 hours of receipt both online and over the phone. Our Customer Service team follows this policy to maintain consistency and fairness in handling all claims and we can see that your queries were addressed both politely and promptly.
Sadly, if the goods are signed for as ok and are left onsite without any issues being reported, it is difficult for us to determine what happened.
To re-iterate, we advise all of our customers that goods are to be checked over in full within 48 hours of receipt to ensure that they are happy with the goods. If this is not possible, we can of course discuss a more suitable delivery date etc.
We regret that this situation led to dissatisfaction with our service and thank you for your feedback.

Was easy to navigate the website, speedy delivery with options dates for you to choose for your convenience, but the deal breaker for me was this was the only website that I could find that did Oak Veneer doors of size 28"x78". Overall extremely happy.

Avoid this company, scammers !!!
Avoid this company. I have ordered 8 oak doors and they have been delivered when I wasn't at home. I have requested for them to be left in the garage but they have dump them on the driveway even though they agreed to my request. All of them had severe damage (chipped corner on exact same spot on all the doors which clearly happened when they was delivering, loading or unloading,and just because I didn't check them in 48 hours (it's their own made up rule) even though low says if the product is delivered faulty customer has a right for return in up to 30days.They have refused to take them back and completely ignoring me since. Every door had a label which said that if you unwrapped them you cannot return them. How are you supposed to make sure they are in good order if they are all wrapped up.They have tight up all the ends to make sure not to refund customers in any possible way. They are clearly a scammers and you should avoid dealing with them. I have spend £660 on the doors and now I am taking things further for investigation with my credit card company, trading standards and if necessary it will be handed over to the ombudsman. Please save yourself a time and your nerves and find better place for your business.

The driver left the goods at the property without a signature as per your request and we are sorry that the garage part of the request could not be fulfilled. However, we must stress that this is a request only. We state that all deliveries are kerbside meaning that we will take them from the vehicle but not into the property. It is the customer's responsibility to count check and sign for the products and to let us know within 48 hours should they have any queries.
Our policy requires customers to remove packaging and fully inspect their goods within 48 hours of delivery, as stated in our terms and conditions and the emails sent to you when the goods leave our warehouse. This timeframe allows us to address any issues promptly.
Our Customer Service team follows this policy to maintain consistency and fairness in handling all claims and we can see that your queries were addressed both politely and promptly. Sadly, if the goods are left without a signature and are left onsite without any issues being reported until 16 days after delivery, it is difficult for us to determine what happened, how the goods were stored, moved etc
We assure you that our return policy is not designed to avoid refunds but to maintain a clear and efficient process.

Buyer beware of Internal Doors very strict 48hr check for damage clause
We purchased 16 Oak laminate doors from Internal Doors, Lily was very Knowledgeable and helpful during the purchasing process, Unfortunately from then on it went down hill
We had originally agreed a delivery date which was one day before our Joiner was due to fit the doors, However, we were then contacted and asked to take an earlier delivery which was a week or so before our Joiner came, unfortunately we never gave a thought to checking over the 16 doors and agreed to the earlier delivery slot.
This came to bite us as when the Joiner came he found damage which we reported immediately but Internal Doors were not one bit Interested.
I was told I should have checked the doors within 48hrs, I am 70 years old and was expected to maul 16 heavy doors looking for faults, disgraceful.
Neither the fact of us accommodating an earlier delivery or my age Internal Doors would not budge from their 48hr stance, their Customer service is absolutely abysmal
